I'd love to see a video of you working through the creation process. I'd love to figure out how to create tones that mimic some great 90's rock, like Disturbed, but I hardly know where to start.
I have plan to make video about my approach when creating presets :) But to be honest disturbed and 90's guitar sounds are not my thing really - You should check Leon Todd channel he has plenty of information how to make great sounds out of AXE FX !
@@Wojtasguitar1 thanks so much! Yeah I'm sure all tones are not created equal, but I bet your ideas would be helpful nonetheless. I'm checking out his channel now!
@@oscar.leon003 if you want great periphery tones for a lot less and have an amazing guitar, look at the PRS Holcomb sig. I love it more than my $2000 Kiesel

Great job man. I will eventually do a video like this as well but it definitely won't be this good lol. I know all these riffs but can never play them clean enough. Props to you! Wonderful job

@@Wojtasguitar1 I'm guessing you got the set, right? How are you liking them? would you compare them to the ones on your jackson? you got juggernauts or ragnaroks on that one? I put a Painkiller on the bridge of mine to try them out, and it sounded way too shrill. Might try something with a lower output.
@@dyangeraldino8765 Nah, I only got bridge pickup. I have juggernauts in my jackson and they are more treble sounding and less bass heavy. But I changed brute force for SILO and its great. Very balanced, you should check it out :)
This is undoubtedly some fantastic playing but if i may, going forward would it be possible to also have sections where you remove the backing? You are right. this is why, in next videos like that one, I prepare my own backing tracks. And here for omega, marigold and way the news goes you can hear only my guitars, I used producer pack and removed oryginal artist guitars. Hope that resolve some of your doubts :)
@@Wojtasguitar1 I guess you can consider my original comment a massive compliment then. Your playing and tone were so convincing. Fantastic job on those riffs btw.
Hey !
Thanks so much for watching :) Here is part 2: ua-cam.com/video/PavaOboOIzQ/v-deo.html
Props for being able to play this many Periphery riffs lol
Yep they are not easy at all :D
Honestly periphery riffs is all I play. Marigold is still the hardest riff I’ve learned I think
@@joseph_lacy But it doesnt look hard but it surely is :)
@@joseph_lacy was hard to me too, mainly cause used to become tired too fast when play it
That marigold riff....I think I'm in love
basically a mark holcomb riff compilation
haha, actually yes :D
Misha did Marigold, perhaps my least favorite riff on this list lol
@@xXxThelegend27xXx pretty sure mark wrote that riff
@@xXxThelegend27xXx one of the best riffs of all time
Nolly wrote omerta
The way the news goes always gets me that "scream paining" guitar face and little teary. Love it
One of my favorites from periphery :) love it
Sentient Glow is so underrated. One of the best from Hail Stan imo
Reptile aswell
The entirety of HAIL STAN is so good in my opinion. Probably my favorite Periphery album.
All of HAIL STAN is the best of HAIL STAN
Pale Aura is probably my favorite to play! There's so much happening in that song :D
Excellent riffs in that one ! my favorite :)
thats mrak for you, dude is a guitar wizard

1 Misha riff, 1 Nolly riff (i think he did the Omega main riff could be very wrong), 3 Mrak riffs
I did part 2 where there are no Mark riffs :)
yeah Nolly actually did a ton of people's favor Periphery riffs
10/10 man,.
Greats picks, spot on playing, great tone, great editing and filming, Amazingly done 🤘🏼
God, you make it look so easy. I've been trying to learn that Omega riff for months.
Start slow ! There is no other way to learn it
Omega is definitely my favorite on this list. That album is just pure gold, especially omega and hell below
such relaxed playing! killed it dude!
Dude, really great video. from the tone, to the playing, to the production quality and camera work, really fucking awesome job with this.
Thank You !
Damn you should feel fortunate to have that guitar man.
it is just a guitar :)
Wojtas-Guitar a high end guitar that just few people can afford
I bought used one for much much cheaper than retail price :) but yeah it is very expensive :(

And plays great !

Nice guitar dude. That thing is beautiful
Which Ibanez is it?
Excellent job, that must have taken ages - I really enjoyed it.
Thanks ! Yeah I spent like 1000 hours to play those riffs :D
@@Wojtasguitar1 well the best compliment I can give is the it looked pretty effortless 👍 what about mark's sentient glow playthrough though?!

They are not that hard ! Start slow and you should be fine :)
It's funny that most people assume periphery and other djent bands play in 7&8 string tuning's when they write a ton of music in drop C
Yep they have a lot songs in drop c and usually those riffs are fantastic !
Dude absolutely incredible playing and tones. I’m definitely downloading those presets. (As I clearly suck at making tones compared to you.)
nice song selection and the tone
Really love your tones bro. Cheers~!
Thanks for posting. Flawless playing.
You have encouraged me to start working on a Psychosphere cover
Sick playing dude! Soo clean
So sick dude, killer work!!
Is there anyway to convert or export the patches for the axe fx II? Your patches sound great but I would love to try them.
Maybe try Fractool ? I think it can convert the patches between axe fx2 and 3
Great playing and tones man!
Excellent playing! 👏
love your tone!
Great performance mate! Cheers
Great riffs man, Marigold is so fkin golden xD
Bruuuuuh. Well done, Subbed!
What Axe patches did you use?
I also have an Axe 3 and am curious..
Usually My patches are in dropbox link from video descripction :)

Sounds great. What strings are you using on that? I am worried that the 12-56s are a bit too heavy to drop c through a.

I did some EQ in Logic pro x and then did tonematching to the mixed guitar for DAW. You can turn it off and use normal cab and do some EQ changes :)
