Saw Dr. Rahim, after 2 visits pain was gone. I got Covid shortly after, fund another Gonstead practitioner closer to me that has taught over 500 Gonstead doctors... there's no comparison. I was really surprised. No one, i mean no one does the energy work that Dr. Rahim does. He also doesn't let you leave without the meter being clear. It's worth the 6 hour drive one way to see him. I'm a coming back!! Lol

The only chiropractor that I’ve seen who truly cares for his patients and truly hopes the best for them! Takes all his time to sit down and educate them on their body to prevent further problems with their body! Appreciate you a ton Dr Rahim
Thanks Dr. Rahim for this video specifically and for sharing examples of your practice on this channel. I have had chiropractic adjustments in the past but in watching your videos, I believe I would be better served by the Gonstead method. I love the idea of fixing what needs to be fixed and allowing time to heal rather than the too-common snap-crackle-pop practice of traditional chiropractors. Thanks for all of the lives you have improved and for sharing your talents!
Thank you for an inside look at your work - I find it so fascinating. As a bodyworker who deals only with soft tissue, it can be frustrating that we're often considered "just a massage therapist." As you say, many of the clients I see are carrying decades of trauma that are retained in their tissues and motions, and I see a fair number of emotional releases in my work too. If I were even 30 years younger I would be considering learning the Gonstead work, but at 75, well, that's really not going to happen. But I'm putting together an online interactive program to teach people how to become best friends with our bodies. A small thing, perhaps, but I feel that it would bring a lot of awareness and ease to those who choose to try it out. As always, best wishes to you and your family and much gratitude for your impact on our health and well-being.
Thank you for sharing and caring. It helps so much when we understand what is wrong and how it is affecting our bodies. Even simple things like be sure to drink lots of water, be sure to walk, etc. Some of us are hard headed. We have to understand why! Otherwise we forget to do it.
I really enjoy your videos and your perspective so much. You seem to have a beautiful relationship with understanding people’s bodies and their challenges. I love the way you hold space for all 3 body mind and the spirit while you ground the family of the patient at the same time. You are gifted Doc. May God always fill your soul and your heart. You are helping so many people. It only takes one person in alignment to help shine the light for everyone.
Dr. Rahim, I'll keep this as brief as I can. Your work, as well as others, has ignited a passion to be a Chiropractor. I went to school to be a Surgical Technologist. After that, went back to be a nurse, but my mom had a brain aneurysm the night before I was supposed to start. So, I decided to wait and never went back. I want to thank you for reigniting my will to go back and be a Chiropractor. God Bless you, Doctor.
Helpful information.I will now start reading the books u suggested.Often when a person gets a small bump while driving a bike and gets less pain ,but later that pain starts increasing.Must not neglect this kind of pain.
Thanks alot for the information..what knowledge you have Doctor and able to convey it to us. Learnt a lot from this video .. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors. God bless .🌹
I see a Gonstead trained Chiro--he went to the same college as you in LA. He does not do the things I see you doing. Only uses the meter one time right after an x ray, then repeated visits are less than 5 minutes, fully clothed and he always targets the same areas. It’s quite frustrating for me when I see all the thorough exams and adjustments that you do in these videos. Just last week he told me that he’s just trying to keep me out of surgery at this point. I am 45 and have chronic SI issues with degenerative discs in low back and cervical spine. I wish I could come and see you.
Deliberately waiting for this q/a since long time , when i had watched your 3 video's regarding explaining what chiropractic is in such a precise and honest manner , thank you so much Rahim sir for uploading this ever-asking qna ... love from India ...

Hi Dr Rahim, this was a wonderful session... Thanks for the interaction.. I can pop practically all of my joints, starting from my toes/fingers, almost all back spine joints, neck, shoulders, wrists, ... Is there something I should be concerned about? Where should I start correcting, posture/exercise/diet ...? I'm looking forward to change the way of life...
While it is possible to make your joints pop and crack, a gonstead specific adjustment has a three dimensional component. The posteriority is the first component of misalignment and the exact force required to adjust may not be attainable by oneself. Further, we are unable to provide diagnosis for your health condition(s) without an in-person health assessment.

I am obviously biased but here is a summary of the education needed to become a chiropractor: Doctors of chiropractic are educated as primary-contact health care providers, with an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the musculoskeletal system (the muscles, ligaments and joints of the spine and extremities) and the nerves that supply them. Educational requirements for doctors of chiropractic are among the most stringent of any of the health care professions. The typical applicant for chiropractic college has already acquired nearly four years of pre-medical undergraduate college education, including courses in biology, inorganic and organic chemistry, physics, psychology and related lab work. Once accepted into an accredited chiropractic college, the requirements become even more demanding - four to five academic years of professional study are the standard. Doctors of chiropractic are educated in orthopedics, neurology, physiology, human anatomy, clinical diagnosis including laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging, exercise, nutrition rehabilitation and more. Because chiropractic care includes highly skilled manipulation/adjusting techniques, a significant portion of time is spent in clinical technique training to master these important manipulative procedures. In total, the chiropractic college curriculum includes a minimum of 4,200 hours of classroom, laboratory and clinical experience. The course of study is approved by an accrediting agency that is fully recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

I love your explanation about DRs (types) I went to my first Chiropractor they helped resolve all my health issues and left my Primary care Dr amazed! My question: why do you have patients walk and do activities after their adjustments? and What would you tell someone not to do after an adjustment?
Hi doc it’s a nice video & very informative. Can you pls tell the name of x rays to be done before coming to ur office ? What test should be done by patients ? Thanks doc, keep it up. Take care
Hey there! Both Anterior to Posterior (AP) and Lateral x-rays are obtained on the patient. The purpose of obtaining full spine x-rays are; to have an accurate count of vertebrae, to be able to perform the gonstead pelvic analysis for foundational imbalances, to rule out scoliosis, to be able to perform an accurate postural assessment, to be able to accurately determine the exact way in which the offending vertebrae is misaligned along a three dimensional axis (static listing). The gonstead doctor wants to be able to see the person as a whole unit and not treat just a part because the spine is continuous and contiguous. Things that happen below the spine can affect above and vice versa.
Hi sir, in next episode, please talk about various pelvic misalignment as per gonstead system. I read books, but need to know more about pelvic misalignment like P to A and many more
How can I make an appointment for the week of May 23 to 27 on vacation and need an alignment my left leg is longer than than my right my hips bother me my lower back my left shoulder can you help me Anthony Hernandez
Doctor, I have been watching you for over a year and it would give me great pleasure if you could come to Greece and help a lot of people. My financial situation does not allow me to come there to help me. I wish you could get some sponsorship from a pharmaceutical company and come to Greece, as some other doctors (for example cardiologists) have done. I am a disabled person and it is not easy for me to come to America. I wish you could come here. I would be one of the first patients to come and do me good in my waist and legs (specifically in my hips. You are a wonderful person and a doctor. This can be seen from afar, so I imagine that those who know you closely will feel the same.
Dr. As one of the common questions, spine or any body manipulation adjustments as part of chiropractic treatment, are there any side effects if treated multiple times on one part for one problem for a period of time, say 5 times in 10yrs?
Hi Sai Kiran, It may be possible to be “over adjusted”, however, in the Gonstead system, the goal is to adjust only the areas specified during the examination instead of randomly adjusting for temporary relief.

Hi doc, what's your take on PKD, from what I know, it's a genetically passed on disease and patient's kidney has cyst and that it bulges over a time .when it gets severe, patient has to get a kidney transplant surgery as there's a potential kidney failure situation. I was interested to know what possible misalignments and nerve pressure could also add as a cause for this disease. And how could these be treated ?
Hi Dr Rahim, is it safe use a spine board everyday? Its pretty hype in the internet and i’m considering to get one if it’s safe..been a great fan of your videos!!

I love your explanation about DRs (types) I went to my first Chiropractor they helped resolve all my health issues and left my Primary care Dr amazed! My question: why do you have patients walk and do activities after their adjustments? and What would you tell someone not to do after an adjustment?
Hi Karen, thank you for your question. Will aim to answer it in upcoming videos. Thank you!
@@DrRahim Thank you
You are very good humman...sir
So nice of you
Hi doc it’s a nice video & very informative.
@@DrRahim thanks doc I appreciate ur time and information given to me,take care doc and have a nice day.

Such great information!!! Ty
You are so welcome!
First like on this video from my side.
Thank you!
Dr Rahim, Could you recommend exercises to maintain healthy 😊spine ?

@@DrRahim Dr. Please let people know through a video or atleast UA-cam shorts when you are planning to visit India.

My question is what’s your advice for chiropractic students, how to we become a chiro like yourself
Hi Adam, if you mean in terms of education, here is a summary:
Doctors of chiropractic are educated as primary-contact health care providers, with an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the musculoskeletal system (the muscles, ligaments and joints of the spine and extremities) and the nerves that supply them.
Hello Dr Rahim, what procedure does someone like me who have been in two major car accidents (10 years apart, 1993 at age 13 and in 2003 at age 23) be safe but at same time relief from every day pain???

@@DrRahim Thanks a lot Dr. Rahim for detailed reply. Unfortunately in India though all medical segments study is available but chiropractic teachings are not there. Medicos who are well versed in physiology, orthopaedic, muscular and nerve placement are not taught about foundation adjustments. It was my dream to have you in India for 2/3 day in a month.

Hello!
How did it take you to complete your studies on chiropractic science? And is the gonstead method taught during that period or that's separate?

Hi doc, what's your take on PKD, from what I know, it's a genetically passed on disease and patient's kidney has cyst and that it bulges over a time .when it gets severe, patient has to get a kidney transplant surgery as there's a potential kidney failure situation. I was interested to know what possible misalignments and nerve pressure could also add as a cause for this disease. And how could these be treated ?

Hello I am 40 and I have a labral tear on the right,(view on arthroscan ).really small one but painful.
Of course
the surger wants to do a surgery, but a beginner chiropractor told me I have PIEX on the left side and would be the cause. Considering my age So do you think chiropractic can resolve my problem? Because I don't want to do the surgery and I lost the mobility because of my stock leg. Thank you for your answer.
