@@indgamerx6250 i visited Assam on my way to visit Tawang in Arunachal pradesh last September. And trust me, Bangladesh is a lot, lot more developed than assam. Even the poorest districts of dhaka city are cleaner than guwahati, i mean no disrespect there, just facts.
And I know there are Muslim Bengalis in assam. And most of them are natives of assam. A part of muslim majority bengal (karimganj & hailakandi district) was partitioned with assam during 1947 even it being muslim bengali majority. Now if those Muslim Bengalis from those 2 districts go to other districts of assam, they are labelled as Bangladeshis..
And many bengali muslims were transported to assam by the british as indentured labourers. We are not responsible for them too.
Bangladesh was formed in 1971. Anyone from our land who went to india before 1971 is not our responsibility..
And i hope you guys do know that there are about 1 million Koch, Bodo, Ahomiya, Manipuri, Garo & khasi community in Bangladesh..and they live as respected citizens of bengal.
Bengali muslims have a high birthrate than assamese people. That's why their population is increasing

@@noirinserenity hmars are not Assamese. Not everyone in Assam identify themselves as Assamese, especially the hill tribes who were independent and have no connection with Assam and want to establish a separate statehood. Like Nagas and dimasa, karbi and bodo.

But sitting in dima hasao the entire life and stereotyping every assamese to look non-northeastern was the joke for the day. Please explore every nook and corner of Assam first.I am an Ahom ,please come to my village once and taste our rice beer and pork sitting among my northeastern looking ahom assamese folks . And coming to your second point , i have met many bodo friends from and outside of BTAD area. few identify themselves as bodo as well as assamese and few don't. So it's a matter of opinion.
