- Talk’s Mike Graham is joined by Conservative MP Peter Fortune, discussing the backlash over Keir Starmer accepting gifts from Labour peer Lord Alli.
The Prime Minister insisted there was a “massive difference between declarations and corruption” as he faced questions over his alleged failure to register high-end clothing given to Lady Starmer by the prominent party donor on time.
Peter says: “There’s a lot of people sitting on that Labour frontbench who spent years screaming into TV cameras complaining about behaviour of Tory politicians.”

You instinctively know when something is right - and when it is wrong too.
They take over parliament and quickly manipulate events to suit them and not the rest of the country. The workers end up working without seeing the benefits of their work, (unless you’re a junior doctor, a civil servant or an ASLEF member) and are then denied a dignified retirement - instead being dispatched to the knacker’s yard.

Probably another four and a half years, because they have a massive majority. There's a chance he'll be ousted as PM, but who have they got to replace him who's any better? They are all muppets.

Why are we giving money to Italy when, according to the Government ,we have a huge black hole in our finances.They have taken from the most vulnerable pensioners but have money to give away to people to whom we have no obligation. It’s the EU who should be propping up Italy not us who are no longer in their Club.

The Recall of MPs Act 2015 is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that makes provision for constituents to recall their member of Parliament (MP) and trigger a by-election. It received royal assent on 26 March 2015 after being introduced on 11 September 2014.
Unlike recall procedures in some other countries, the act does not allow constituents to initiate proceedings. Actually I will because now I realise that parliament make their own rules which don't apply to other businesses, it would be immediate dismissal in my career and a conflict of interests.
