Being a german he has learnt the grand old insturment of BHARATH in such a marvellous way .Very nice rendition of marva. Indians should learn from this how great sacred is our music. It is a sorry state of affairs many of our own country people are not aware this great music. Music organisations like FEAC are doing marvellous work to bring it to people. Many salutations to FEAC.ENDARO MAHANUBAVULU ANDARIKI VANDANAMU.
Marwa is my favourite raag. And this is beautiful. Fragrance of a Marwa lingers on for many hours, but fragrance of a Marwa on a rudra veena, just stays with you forever.
Respected First Edition Arts Team, Thank you so much for the beautiful mesmerising Performance by the Respected Rudra Veena Carsten Wicke, Pt. Mohan Shyam Sharma and Tanpura Player... Audio and Video Quality is fantastic...As a lover of Indian Classical Music , It's my humble request to you Team keep uploading like these type of gems ... With lots of love and respect and kindly convey my love and respect to Carsten Wicke Sir and Pt. Mohan Shyam Sharma
Wonderful! I saw him at 'Rich Mix' and he was utterly superb. He's from Belgium. Pity that there's a danger of the Rudra Veena dying out in India itself. Carsten Wicke is preserving one of the most fabulous instruments in the whole world and brilliantly. Maybe he's from Germany originally.
Dear FEAC you are really preserving the great tradition of indian classical music by not only arranging the concerts but by documenting it through vedeo recordings. This is a great noble offer to the field of indian classical music which i am unable to put it in words. Also u have moved out of mumbai. It is a very good venture. By this u can very well expose people of other states to listen these artists. I suggest to arrange concert of Dhruv bedis sitar at Mysore city where Hindustani is also in force restricted to some artists who are well known. Hence if u bring such artists to cities like mysore people will have oppurtunities to listen to such young artists. pl notify ur programmes well in advance in leading news papers or through u tube so that interested people can attend these concerts.
Thank you Mohan Ram for your encouraging words and advice. There is so much more we would like to do, especially with young, relatively unknown artistes who have the talent but lack marketing skills. However, it is extremely difficult to convince sponsors from the corporate world to support our initiatives. It is people like you who give us the impetus to continue the struggle. Thank you once again.
i offer my salutations rather than thanks for ur immediate reply.People should on their own should support u such organisations. I request you kindly to tieup with some reputed music sabhas like chennai music acadamy or in mysore nadabrahma sangeetha sabha,Ganabharathi music organisations to provide premises etc. This is only a humble suggestion.
Well said and well replied Yet sad to hear how the corporates work But yet they go to the wills and fancies of the mass They would never look up to this ancient and heavenly music But whoever does....my greatest respect🙏🏻 and my love and salute to FEA ... thanks for making our hours more worthy
