    Relocating from the Chicago area and have moved to Granville with the acquisition of 60 acreas, the information you provided on recognition was very helpful. We usually purchase seedlings from the Forestry Division every year to bring back the natural flora of the terrain. Hope to see more of your videos.

    Out forester recommended getting rid of all our black and sweet gum as they are garbage wood.
    Wasn’t sure from video but is sweet gum a desirable tree in some areas ?

      Sweetgum (SWG) has traditionally been considered an undesirable species, but it does make an excellent RR tie and when prices for ties are high, SWG can fetch a reasonable price.
