Aluminium is how it's pronounced. Listening to Americans say aluminum is the funny part.
I actually looked up the word and it is spelled both ways. So both pronunciations are correct depending on where you are from.

@Aditya Ram - Actually, the "mind palace" technique (aka the "method of loci") is real, not just made up for the "Sherlock" series.
