I know I might be looking WAY too much into this, but forwards the end of Space Kid’s story when Max was alone in the tent 11:10, you can see him visibly freaking out, trying to be quiet as possible when what looks two silhouette’s appear outside. This could indicate more of the abusive treatment Max received from his parents.
in this episode, it feels like max is very familiar with the “stay silent or else” tactic. which breaks my heart even more RAAGAHHHAHBZ😭
