- This week I re-visit an old abandoned project to see if I can finish it.
It's like an oil rig in space for ships to dock. An aircraft carrier in space. It's slightly over engineered but it came out okay in the end.

@TerrainbyAaron When am I dropping a video? Soon as I have time to work on something. Lately, I don't even have time to edit a video so it's mostly been live just to have something to post on the channel. I put a couple things on Twitch, but I'm probably doing some stuff this weekend if I can...maybe two or even 3 live videos? I'd say...some stuff on UA-cam for the chainsawman dog then a little statue I'm working on, then probably a spaceship or cyberpunk building. Last two should be quite easy.
Cool build! Looks to me like something from Heavy Metal fantasy magazine with some steampunk aesthetic too. Love it! When you look at huge structures like aircraft carriers, oil rigs, city infrastructure, etc. it often appears random to our eyes. There are layers and layers of design in huge things like that, but...from our point of view sometimes it looks like someone just starting scratching that build! Cheers!
That's how I looked at it randomly 🤣😂. Heavy metal I remember I used to have the comics so maybe subconsciously it came into this building thanks for watching

I would say that the finale model is so scrappy and rough looking that it wouldn't look out of place in an Alien film.

@@TerrainbyAaronNot everyone can afford a 3D printer Aaron. Though nearly anyone can get a hold of some random bits of plastic, broken toys and/or old model kits.

:) Don't apologize about the rant either. Like any hobby, it's what YOU want to make it. There are always those folks with no life that can obsess over every detail. There are some model railroaders that can be super fanatical, as can scale modelers that are doing SPECIFIC moments in history, or trying to be ultra-protoypical with their models, plants, structures, rocks, etc. etc. That's appropriate for what they're doing, but scratch building frees you from all that and you create your own stuff! Keep scratching that build !
