Check out the new Argon 2 from REV'IT! Serious value for the money in this AAA rated jacket! What are your thoughts?
Yup, I can see why you told me to wait haha, thanks for getting these out so quickly, now I feel like I can make my choice, so I like the argon, but its hard to say no to the extra quality and features in the control, now sure if the $150 is that large of a difference for what you get, thanks again for the videos, definitely helped me make my choice.
Yup good things come to those who wait hahah, yeah man I mean the Argon 2 is awesome in every way and does give you a ton for the money, but if you are not against spending the extra $150 you really can't go wrong with the control, such a sick jacket and everything about it is top notch! Plus im sure it will look sick on your Triple haha

I see your video with matador and I don’t know what to choose
Personally I like the matador better but the Argon 2 is AAA rated vs the Matador being AA, so if you plan to do track days id recommend the AAA rating. As for summer both the Marador and Argon have perforation on the chest but the Matadors holes are bigger so it breathes better, with that said depending on how how it gets where you live both might be too hot for the summer and Id recommend a mesh jacket at that point. Personally I don't ride in my Matador past 85 degrees.

Great review! What would be your top two or three picks for a leather jacket to ride aggressively on the street or every now and then track use for summer? Say under $650
that's a bit tough as I would say a lot of it is subjective, and about how a jacket fits you, but if I am looking at AAA rated, I like the REV'IT! Control leather jacket (I have a review video for it as well), or if AA I have probably put the most miles on my REV'IT! Matador jacket, it has done really well, has solid perforation and just fits me like a glove (I have a video for this one too) or the one that had my eye in the past with the V3 and now just came out with a 4th version is the Alpinestars GP Plus R V4 Ride knit, but I don't have as much experience with this one as I have only tired it on and like how it looks/the features it has but I haven't yet ridden in it (hopefully soon). @@FifthNorth thanks a bunch as I was eyeing 3 of Revit’s jackets. I found the Control to be kind of tight around my chest in a 56, but the liner was in.
@@FifthNorth looks like the Argon 2 is AAA rated leather and level 2 armor where the Matador is AA rated. I guess a kind of bargain at $499 MSRP
Oh yeah the Argon 2 is a great deal for what you get…I like the way the Matador fits me better, but definitely no knocks on the Argon 2.
Synthetic artificial leather external parts = NO WAY FOR ME.... of course its not as durable as real full grain leather. So this Jacket is NOT SO GOOD VALUE in reality. You easily find full AAA leather Jacket for cheaper. (Furygan or Segura for example)
If I look for a leather sport Jacket, i want real leather, not crappy imitation. Strong synthetic panels are OK for more confort and flexibiliy (inside arm panels), but leather parts have to be RÉAL leather, again.
Sad to see such a trustful brand making this kind of marketing trap Jacket....
Today, so many motorcycle products are cheap synthetic / leather imitation. Gloves, most Boots are now micro fiber that is CRAP vs real leather, and sold VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is.
Modern marketing = high profit margins = cancer.
Be aware of what you are buying.
Even if it looks good, pay for true quality / durability / sécurity, not for ILLUSION.

PS: Thank you for your honnest vidéo, saying it includes artificial leather, because many shops sell this Jacket as it was a bargain, made of full BUFFALO leather, that is DISHONEST. 🔥
