Got this jacket a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty nice when riding out at 27c. Coldest I've used it in has been 15c and I really wouldn't go any colder than that
ii have bought this jacket together with level 2 elbow protectors but they are to big for the pocket at the elbow where the protection is supposed to be. You said you always swap level 1 with level 2 protection, which of the level 2 elbow protection fits ?
Hi, I am becoming a biker soon and I’d like this jacket as my first one ever. I won’t be driving in low temperatures but I’d like to be warm when it comes to mid-season temperatures, do you think this jacket could keep me warm enough ? I really don’t know anything about gear so I’d really much like your opinion on that one ! Thanks mate :D
What temperature ranges are you looking to cover? This is a full air/mesh jacket, depending on your "Cold Tolerance" I would say it's good in 60 degrees Fahrenheit and above, and for some it's close to 70+. At the end of the day everyone's cold tolerance is different but I personally don't wear mine under 70.
@@FifthNorth I forgot to tell you that I live in France, so I think I’ll ride until it goes under 60 degres Fahrenheit. I already made my choice, based on your video and some advices from friends, thank you !
Unfortunately I only am interested in jackets and pants that have a AA or AAA abrasion resistance rating, as for me a single A (which is what the Alpinestars Viper V3 Jacket has) just isn't enough.
Greatjacketiprion, thanks for the details 👍🏾
Cool jacket with some really useful options

Bro you have been on a tear with the gear reviews lately!
Right! Keep the gear reviews coming!
Thanks bro!
Cool video

Yeah REV’IT! Has different sizes, the ones I used that fit are RV13 for shoulders and RV15 for elbows, I hope that helps.
@@FifthNorth thanks for responding that quickly!

Might just get a cheaper mesh jacket and throw a ligt rain jacket on top if it rains. Sleves are tricky to secure.
I didn't find them too difficult to secure.
Would you please make a video on Alpinestar viper v.3 textile jacket. Thanks for this video

Great stuff but to anyone who buy it in htis colour scheme, have fun cleaning juicy bugs out of the white textile.
This is true, all lighter color jackets that I have had regardless of brand have been more prone to bugs.
