George Lakoff is brilliant. This is a must see.

In 2010 it is about civil rights for corporations in Citizen's United and Free Speech as a corporation having free speech rights like person.

@d0861 "your ridiculous claim that all of FOX's programming is somehow subliminally right-wing" Subliminally? No. It's pretty much right on the surface.

A lot of spam comments from think tanks, most probably.
    Grow up.

@MD40LD50 Do we not all work for wages and then spend our money to buy things that are advertised, things we might not even need? Isn't that slavery?

I'm progressive and don't think I know everything. I do care what others think, including conservatives, because human beings are inherently valuable-all of them. I agree w. conservatives the constitution has been trashed, disagree that war is good or that I need the Patriot Act=trade privacy + 4th and 6th amendments 4 "security." Freedom from oppression by either the Police State OR Corp$ parasites.

Proving me wrong would be showing a program on FOX that doesn't portray the 1950-esque outdated morality system of Father-Knows-Best. All you have done is attempted to do is change the subject to MSNBC.
Also, if you are taking the side that it is pathetic to actually care about other people, then you are definitely acting like a neocon. Quote: "Compassion is no substitute for justice. " -Rush Limbaugh

Thank you Mr. Rush Limbaugh. I beg to disagree. See I think it is pathetic to stroke your ego by watching shows about other people's sicknesses. And I hope your friends will be able to tell if you yourself have problems. Perhaps a good indicator will be to see how much of this style of TV you are watching in the first place.

I know you posted this a long time ago, but I had to laugh out loud.
I really hope you have grown intellectually in the two years since this post - it really is a profoundly dumb post - no offense intended

This is childish. Is he really considered an authority?

Lakoff is a shining example of outright academic fraud.
It is alarming that such a superficial man & his childish framing fluff is being sold as deep academic research.
Framing, Freud, & Lakoff - three strikes & you are out.
