Great selections - you need to go a bit further into BC, then up to Radium, then back via transcanada - that is a couple day trip.
I have ridden all but your number 1.
The great things when I try to tell people about the difference of central BC, and Alberta Rockies roads - as Vancouver Island, Cape Breton, and Ontario - all have great roads - BC and the Alberta Rockies just have soooo much more of them. Its a matter of scale.
I agree with @ddd7928 that the badlands is a good ride - 11 bridges road to the saloon is nice lunch stop. If you go into BC for a long trip - let me know - 99, 97, 12 are great runs that are must do - and anything with a 3 in front of it. Too bad 8 is gone, 5A is great.
I agree, many of these roads are best for cruisers/baggers - you need to take you time and enjoy the vistas. Trying to race it will be frustrating due to traffic, and you will miss so much.
I look forward to when you get out here to show you the 300 km, all day ride of the Cabot Trail.

at 6:12 that's highway 762. Highway 66 from Calgary Highway 22 is great too and Highway 546. There are many more around Calgary like Highway 549 and north of it. You can find nice roads there and you will be the only one driving or riding. Ride them before they become suburbs of Calgary.

    • @TheMilitaryBiker

My list and your list are different, but I've done 4/5 from your list so far and I can't disagree any of your choices. They're all amazing rides for sure. I finally got to check off the Lake Louise to Jasper part of highway 93 last summer. It really is amazing. I should have done that one sooner. Saskatchewan Crossing was packed full of all kinds of riders, all with epic grins on their faces. The south stretch of #93 to Radium is also a great ride and features much less traffic (unless hwy 1 is closed at Golden and then you're screwed).
Some others for you: any and every road that goes through Drumheller is a beauty, but best done in June or September when it's cooler (it gets hella haaaawt out that way in the summer). The #10 from Drum heading east to Dorothy is fun. Either Dinosaur Trail (north and/or south) heading west out of Drum is also fun. The Royal Tyrrell Museum is massive and absolutely worth a stop.
If you want a quiet, scenic, technical, crazy ride then Hwy 40 north (forestry trunk road) is a beauty. It starts a little west of Cochrane just off the 1A. It's a mixture of pavement and gravel. When it gets too sketchy for ya, just turn back. (It gets worse as you go). You'll meet a lot of dads out that way. Wear your gear. Bring a tow strap. Watch your gas. Pack a lunch.
From Medicine Hat head East and then south on highway 41, aka Buffalo Trail, to Elkwater (fully paved and maintained highway). Watch for wild turkey's crossing! :D That stretch alone is great, but you can continue on past Elkwater all the way to the border and have the highway pretty much all to yourself, but again, watch your gas. Those "No Service" signs don't lie. If you really want an adventure take the Eagle Butte road instead of 41. It's a patchwork of pavement and gravel that's maintained, but not well. Watch for potholes, dirt in the corners, and reptiles (snakes) sunning on the pavement at dusk and dawn. It's a hot ride in the summer. Stay hydrated and watch for random thunderstorms that pop up out of nowhere. There's some great camping to be found out that way too (hello Reesor Lake!). Take your fishing gear. Fort Walsh makes a nice side quest to Saskatchewan, especially on Canada Day.
Highway 1A from Calgary to Canmore is a nice way to spend a day. Watch for busses filling in potholes and wildlife crossing everywhere, especially in town. Stop in Cochrane for ice cream at MacKay's.
