GREAT video. I really appreciate the effort put into this travelogue on Shark Bay. Thank you. This is a terrific example of how good non commercial videos can be. Well done and thank you.
+deslightfly Greetings and thanks for the comments. We've just finished a film that features steep point if your interested. the link is ua-cam.com/video/aThnLbKJYlc/v-deo.html That should bring you straight to it. Cheers!
This is outstanding! Your voice overs, use of music, videography, everything is just simply outstanding!! Thank you so much for this, I’m heading up there in a couple of days so your video is incredibly helpful.
Nice vid... been there a few times over the years. Lived in WA for 7 years, back in the UK for a few years now but coming back to spend Xmas this year with me bro. Thinking of travelling up to Shark bay for a week or so in Dec, this has whetted my appetite, so thanks for that. Much marine life to see snorkelling? I remember going for a snork at Eagle Bluff, but it was like looking across an underwater desert with the occasional ray of course! Anyway, nice film work, cheers.
Greetings there Matt. A fellow Landrover owner! Its a bit like being in a little club. Mines at the doctors presently so it will be a while till it is unleashed again. Just reinvested in the same bridgestone tyres so will hold off on the Coopers till they wear out. Truck might wear out before the tyres. Just came off the bibullmum track in WA. Summer sprained an ankle so had to cut that one short. Might have to get her a pack horse on the next walk.
Aaahhh takes me back! I traveled up the west coast from Perth to Monkey Mia and finally Ningaloo. The safety briefing at shark bay getting on the catamaran was if it sinks, hold on to the side, pull your legs up and hope the shark takes the person next to you. Love the Aussies! 🤣
Miss Dog Lover I’m going there in a few days, 8 hours from Perth. I’m surprised to see someone comment on a vid made back in 2013.can’t wait to go to shark bay
Thanks very much again Gavin and Summer. Beautifully well done just like the Canning Stock Route, by providing very good information and detail in the presentation. Like the TD5 too Gav. I've got the same in my 130 Defender, more room which would be ideal for your expeditions. Those tyres look pretty ordinary however some Cooper STT 's would make a difference with 3 ply strength in the walls etc, (just an arm and a leg at $400 bucks each, but worth it. So,When's the next trip? Cheers. Matt
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Wesley Joshua I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
G'day, Thanks for your vids, they are great!!! Just wondering, why did you not do th e"Useless Loop Track"??? Its def worth the time and effort. We went last year for a couple weeks to shark bay incl the F.Peron NP and the "most wersterly Point of Australia" which was an amazing trip. Take care you two and keep it coming!!! Cheers Bjorn
Greetings Bjorn. We didn't have the time in the end for the Useless Loop. I didn't want to rush anything so we focused on the Cape Peron area. The Western side will have to be an adventure for the future. Thanks for the good feedback. Cheers.
Nice array of fish you have caught there Mr Foreman. In addition to those I usually catch species such as stickfish, seaweedfish and the elusive shitfish (also commonly known as "lil' bastardfish") Love your work :)
Greetings Mr Stiles. I am very familiar with the additional species you mentioned though not their specific names which I found most amusing. I might take liberties and steal those quotes for future videos. Cheers.
I acknowledge the amount of editing, dubbing of descriptions and short amusing fishing stories you have edited in, well done! My un_edited ones are tagged with #flickrspelio not up to your level though, and much older...
Greetings there, thanks for the positive feedback. We've got other films on the channel featuring underwater scenes though the films can be hard to find. Western walkabout 1 & 3 and shoal water bay. Cheers.
