Thought about getting it but after watching this the Jager can fill that role just fine for me, thanks for the video.
I missed out on Jagger, I got kidnaped by my family for a bloody two week retreat where I had no internet etc... sucks, and I really wish the Jager was in this batch to trade for.

the trade is not permanent , its recommend to trade in a coal ship to trade , after the trade buy the coal ship again.

There is no straight answer, in my opinion results are situational. Sometime it works sometime not. But as always the best players have really good sense how to play and were to move.

I took the Minegumo the other day in exchange for the Friesland + doubloons (about 1600). Also having the Groningen the Friesland was basically a duplicate and therefore expendable.

I traded my Alvaro de Bazon for this ship... I'm not sure, but it sounds like this one might actually get a permanent spot, which would tick me off as what I really want in the Armoury is the Jager. and on the speed vs range torpedoes at 6km, it's actually closer to a 2.5 second reaction time difference. those 85 knot babies are bloody vicious, and over 20k per torp is amazing. I obliterated a Shikashima the other day and I am betting he sat in awe at how fast he died. I was unseen, and waiting for him to come by my side of the island. Range was about 5km, and it took maybe... what... 4 or 5 seconds to hit him. His secondaries hadn't even started firing yet. If I remember right, 85knots is close to 100mph.

You can trade you coal ships as many times as you want. I traded the Sherman for the Karl, then Dalian, then bought the Shermy back again (I already lucked out and got Minegumo out of a single crate during the original event).

`not much u can do in minegumo so i return back to my neutrashimy, at least she can beat red dds in a knife fight and get rid aircrafts

I traded for this ship and like it for its torps but its guns are slow. Has great concealment and those 85 knot torps are fantastic! It is a good cap contested too, at times when there aren’t any radars. Thanks for the video Ripper!

Traded coal ship for it that I'll get back soon, I used it for ranked and found it works good there. The option of torps lets you fight dd's with them in caps easier and you have longer ones for the rest of the battle.

Remember that the Gearing has the same stealth as the Shima (with Leg-Mod) of 5.6 and 16.5 torpedo range. For this boat I kept it on the short 6.5km torps, unless I had a longer range target out there. But sneaking in around an island and murdering a Shikashima like I did yesterday is seriously fun.
