In this video, I discuss the probability of a wide-spread theory of Zecharia Sitchin, that ancient Sumerian gods, the Anunnaki, were advanced aliens that came to Earth to mine gold. This theory came from Sitchin’s interpretation of the Sumerian clay tablets which also proposed that these god-like Anunnaki aliens bio-engineered sub-species such as Igigi and humans to be their slave labor to work in the mines. It’s a very intriguing hypothesis with many followers.
I won’t get into the accuracy or credibility of Sitchin’s translations and interpretations, but solely focus on whether it is conducive for a highly advanced alien civilization to travel interplanetary in order to mine on another planet, and even go to the extent to bio-engineer new species to assist their mining projects.
The extended questions are, if an extraterrestrial civilization was advanced enough to reach faraway planets in our solar system, would they mine gold, other metals or minerals from Earth? If aliens were really collecting something valuable from our planet, what would that be?

For any civilization advanced enough to be able to travel between the stars, it would be much cheaper to mine directly on asteroids than on any planet. That is a possibility that even the human race has already considered.

it is a theory and nothing more. The bullshit evidence from constanly lying space agencies that there are precious metals in asteroid means nothing. If that was the case, trust me, everyone would heavily invest in that and only that. Also the "mining gold" was more likely the purpose giving to humans after creation, not the actual need for mining equipment.
So as I understand, it. It would take a star 25 times the size of our own star to create gold? How many stars are out there that could fall into that category. But if all the 118 elements on this planet came from a single star exploding. How big would it have to be to create all the heavier elements ?

Don’t know about aliens but as a gold mine owner I can 100% that there’s plenty of rocks that have been bored out, in a much more efficient way that we do it today. As a matter a fact if you go to your local parks you’ll see plenty of boulders that have already been bored out if you happen to live in a gold bearing city!
The gold firms in South Africa relate that sometimes when they mine they come across mysterious, and superior, tunnels. They say the insides are lined with a smooth substance. And you know what these a**holes do to them? They fill them with concrete!

Just a thought, since you are on the subject of Cuneiform tablets, maybe a video of where these tablets are from, age, etc. Much can be learned from them. Am I correct in believing that when these 10's of thousands of tablets were found, at least one site was later buried and left unattended. Not wanting anyone to research it?
If UFO/UAP lifeforms are here studying us, do you think they have been here for a very long time doing so? For them, the last few human centuries would be very interesting to observe our technological advancements. And our capability to observe them has also grown. Some people think that these aliens might have contacted and signed treaties with certain governments. As for the cuneiform tablets, I read that the information they provide is different from Sitchin's interpretations. There are opensource websites/ cuneiform translators which present many cuneiform tablets with their translations. I read a few translated ancient pieces on Enki - I have to say these texts don't describe Enki as a god (alien) with highly-advanced technology at all.

Thank you for yet another really interesting UA-cam video. Something that needs to be pointed out is the reason why mineral deposits exist on Earth at commercially minable concentrations in the first place. This is the combination of a water cycle and plate tectonics. Many rocky planets in other solar systems can be assumed to carry large amounts of water like Earth, but Earth's plate tectonics are mostly due to the larger part of Earth's crust having been blasted into space by the impact that created the Moon. Earth effectively keeps most of its crust in an orbit around itself. It's what allows what is left of Earth's crust on Earth itself to form plates surrounded by much thinner sea floor. These plates can then move around and bump into each other driven by convective forces generated by Earth's molten core. Asteroids, to make a comparison, do not have this geological dynamism. This is the reason why asteroid mining, while tempting when just looking at total amounts of minerals, will probably never be commercially viable. The absence of any sort of geologic dynamism means that deposits cannot form. Even on Earth, every cubic meter of seawater dissolves about three grams of gold. Just like with asteroids, the fact that seawater gold is not concentrated in any way means that commercial exploitation is not viable. The gist of this whole consideration is that the idea of aliens wanting to mine certain minerals on Earth does perhaps not look so outlandish anymore, given one is willing to make certain assumptions about aliens. The crust peculiarity may make Earth sufficiently unique even on a galactic scale for aliens to become interested in it. The impact that led to the Moon forming and Earth itself being endowed with plate tectonics was an event of extraordinarily low probability. It had to occur at the right time during Earth's early history with an impactor of the right size hitting at the right angle. Getting all these properties on target was very improbable indeed. There may really be not that many mining destinations like Earth in the galaxy. Please see my comment on the cattle mutilation video for more thoughts on that.
We have to consider the existence of non-capitalistic aliens. For argument sake, let's suppose they are capitalistic: when there's a rip in your atmosphere money should not, and would not, be an obstacle. I also don't think they came to mine minerals, just gold...and not for it's monetary value but for it's ability to repair the breech. Also, I think they knew about the existence of earth for eons. They knew about it's formation. I posit they also knew about it's contents.

Hi Tina. Alluvial gold deposits can also come from surface rivers. And the gold can come from long distances.
Being that Sumeria has many rivers, it’s possible that any ancient mining operation was a simple placer gold “panning” type operation.
You pointed out that the gold found in the known Sumerian civilization came from ancient Iraq or Afghanistan.
But the Sumerian kings list speaks of a royal lineage that dates back tens of thousands of years.
If indeed ancient aliens did placer mine gold in those distant ancient times, the gold in the rivers most likely was all collected. Placer mining usually declines over years as the amount of gold is finite.
As far as the ancient aliens theory, it’s difficult to form a clear idea as to why any ET would want to visit Earth, unless the planet was being used as a biological laboratory of sorts.
Perhaps while aliens spent time on the ancient Earth tending to the evolution of primitive humans, perhaps they mined gold in order to teach people about metallurgy.
As a gold, minor retired, could it not be possible, if you do believe in aliens, that they were registering gold,through their sophisticated metal detectors, that was already in the earthlings possession ?

These entities were able, without much effort, to map our little corner of this galaxy. Are we as special to them as we are to ourselves? Is their universe teeming with life but lack gold? The possibilities are endless. I try to keep an open mind.

I agree, and I think you spelled it out very well, and with a direct approach that I appreciate. I'm not that familiar with the Sitchin theories, but if the idea was basically to train monkeys (primitive humans) to mine gold, then that's a whole new level of desperation, because I can't imagine being in a situation where I would make that same decision. Also, while it's not specifically gold, they say there is an asteroid that holds a substantial amount of platinum. If they were mining, wouldn't they prefer to use machines and mine an asteroid? It makes sense to me. Or perhaps they would prefer to head to the dark side of Mercury, and mine for a variety of metals there. Or Earth's moon. The only thing unique to Earth, as you pointed out, is the life. And even if they did come to Earth because the Earth was compatible with their own physiological needs, and if they wanted to examine the local DNA (but weren't worried about Earth's viruses or bacteria), they'd still probably do their mining off-planet. Earth would be like a lab or vacation spot, but there's no special need for spacefarers to set up mining here. However, I find people will believe what they want to believe, and that affects so much of our discourse and conceptualizations.
Speaking of conceptualizations, my analysis points to a probable origin for Mesopotamian civilization as a confluence of local Natufian and invading northern (Baltic) cultures, with the northerners behaving much like Vikings or Greeks. This would be around 6000-5000 BC, with the invaders slowly becoming dominant. Around 4000-3000 BC, they would be invading into the Levant and into the Nile valley, setting up the various kingdoms we know of in our histories. While linguists prefer to hold the north and south here as being in different language families, that's partly out of diplomacy. While various aspects of the southern languages are different from Indo-European and proto Indo-European, there are many root words that appear to be the same. So the structure of the southern language could have been at least partially based upon that of the Natufian / Capsian people, while new words would have been imposed by the northern invaders. Like, in Annunaki we find the roots "an" and "ki" (or ge) which are found in modern English words annual and geothermal with the same meanings, because they are Indo European root words. The Indo European language did not reach its recognizably "completed" form until 2500 BC, while we have written records from the southern people prior to that, so it must have been the proto Indo European language that impacted both Egypt and Mesopotamia. There's various other things that point to this general direction for things, but that's sufficient for a sketch, to illustrate the idea.
Not trying to push ideas on anyone, but offering a bit of support for anyone who was already thinking along these lines. :)

Is there any DNA evidence of Balkan peoples in Egypt?
@@mrbaab5932 That would be a good subject for research. The Berber people of northern Africa diverged from the people of northern Finland somewhere around 7000 BC, IIRC. This divergence happened around the same time that those people (coming from the east, as Siberians) entered the Baltic region, and what I imagine happened was that the Siberians divided at the Gulf of Finland at that time, and it was the southern tribes living in the vicinity of Estonia, which we associate with the Narva culture, who later developed trade with the Black Sea region to the south, following the classic river routes. The current orthodoxy points to an Indo-European language development on the north banks of the Black Sea, on the steppe, but my conclusion is that the actual origin was in the Baltic, and the Narva were probably highly significant in the development of proto Indo European.
So it was the southern Baltic Siberians who wandered south to become the Berbers, while the northern Baltic Siberians became the Lapps or Sami people. The people diverged for natural reasons as in their westward travel they encountered the Gulf of Finland and flowed around it.
Feel free to research in that area. You are unlikely to find anyone putting the whole story together like I just did, but you should be able to verify each of the individual facts.
I would not expect to find a significant Baltic signature in Egyptian DNA, as I don't think there was a population replacement. What I would expect to dominate is the Natufian / Capsian DNA which is basically very similar or the same as what they sometimes call Mediterranean DNA. My impression is that that general DNA group, from an earlier time, covered the whole circle of Mediterranean shores and to the east, into Persia, Pakistan, and western India. They had existing settlements and civilization that would have initially been trading partners with northern tribes, and eventually defeated and absorbed by the northerners, with the varying cultures in that region fusing into a combination of northern and Natufian culture.
Remember, neither the Greeks (Alexander) nor the Romans did population replacement, though they did conquer vast regions.
@@mrbaab5932 I haven't been looking into this, but I remembered your question when I by chance came across information on Queen Te or Tiye (as the name is spelled on wiki). Not only do her features (in death) appear northern (which is not very trustworthy in terms of facts, but it's interesting), but apparently she has K mtDNA, as did her mother, and the father had the same, plus Y-DNA G2a. The father's DNA is most commonly associated with the Caucasus, while K is found all throughout Europe heading east to Persia, with a tiny tail descending into northern Africa.
She dates to around 1400-1350 BC, which is just before the Sea Peoples invasion and presumably before the arrival of the foreign princes known as the Hyksos.
Interestingly, they say the father was a prosperous man who lived in Upper Egypt, which is of course away from the Mediterranean, and they think he was a foreigner bearing a foreign name.
Not sure what to make of that, but there you go. Have a good one!
The ancient Alien theory is an intriguing theory. As far as I can tell it’s just as good a theory as the notion that humans have had advanced civilization with higher technology. That were wiped out. The elites went underground and came back out years later and claimed godhood and returned things like trade and agriculture to society.
We will most likely never know what happened to the ancient civilizations nor how advanced they really were. It seems like all the megaliths were still being built and production just stopped.Answer that one question and you will know more than most. Thank you for your work in this.

I'm glad you addressed this. It's pretty obvious that if you are an alien race that wants gold, the last thing you would do is travel all the way to Earth and mine it here. Earth has the highest surface gravity of any object in the Solar System, that you can actually stand on. Mining the asteroids would be an obvious no-brainer.

Zechariah Stitchin(spelling?) wrote a book about this, which I read. Three things:
1. The gold was allegedly required to put in their atmosphere on the Annunaki's home planet to save it. Gold is one of the heavier metals. I only know of gases in the earth's atmoshere.
2. The Annunaki civilization (from the planet Niburu, orbiting the sun every 3,600 years - the so called undiscovered 10th planet?) were advanced, capable of space flight. Were they therefore capable of robotics and transmutation of metals? I think we are close to this now.
3. The last Annunaki king or DNA descendant is housed in a museum in London, according again to ZS. Why has not there been DNA analysis on these remains?
4. Just imagine how the seasons must change on Niburu lol.
Yeah, I'm a bit of a sceptic on this whole Annunaki 10th planet thing.
We'll be on Mars shortly. How will you rate your skepticism IF we find construction there? The bible is the most unique book in the world( because I do not know of another) because of one mysterious thing: why is the second chapter just a repetition of the first? Zechariah Stichen claims the planet Niburu (see above), not Mars. I have an open mind, and it is possible that Mars supported life as we know it in the past. It is an exciting time with the interest in, and exploration of, Mars now. Who knows, being a smaller and more distant planet from the sun, it may have developed hominids like us earlier (products of nuclear explosions found?!!), but the biosphere would have cooled and dried out many millions of years earlier as well. Earth will eventually suffer the same fate, I believe, but not for many thousands, if not many millions of years. The geological/planetary time line is over billions of earth years, after all. Earth is 4.5 billion years old. I also believe that time and tectonic forces erase evidence of past civilizations, and this may have happened to Mars already.
@@guzak2643 I only saw the part of your message up to "find construction there." The balance of your message relates to other aspects. ZS's interpretation of ancient tablets may have been incorrect, because many scholars can't agree. I can't believe the life timelines presented by ZS. "From the heavens came" could also have another meaning. But when you see the enormous vastly ancient megaliths in Canaan (Balbek), China, etc, and obvious evidence of precision stonework, there may very well have been sophisticated giants in history. This I believe goes back beyond comprehension. Earth's atmosphere used to have a higher O2 content, and animals were very large then. Experimental data validates this. And don't forget, the finding of evidence of nuclear reactions in Africa in strata layers many millions of years (300?) ago. OOPARTs push civilisation back 300 million years! Earth's surface is just a recycling canvas. And the Bible is being found to be an historical account of actual events - Jerrico, Sodom and Gommora, the great flood (in many folkloric accounts), Jesus. The book of Enoch needs more acceptance. But we can go on and on lol.

Hmm, very interesting. I hadn't seen this video or the cattle mutilation video until now Tina and thought, oh dear, another two in your recent 'de-bunking' videos! (been wanting more mystery exploring rather than de-bunking!). Anyway, the last minutes of this video restored my interest talking about the make-up of life and a follow up video on the cattle mutilation cases so I shall now watch that with interest!. A video on the origin of life would be interesting as the sheer complexity of the cell makes abiogenesis unlikely in my opinion. It's an intriguing subject.
As far as I remember, according to the mentioned translations, the Anunnaki traveled to earth when the two planets where very close to each other, which doesn't require interstellar level of technology. Actually the difference in technological advancement described, looks pretty much like if some people from the high tech part of the world today, crashed one of the primitive cultures we share the planet with.

Hey I want to commend you on your common sense and thinking ability. The dating methods are flawed. C14 has been found in diamonds that are supposed to be billions of years old. Soft tissue has been found in Dino bones over 120 soft tissue finds in fossils supposedly from 65 to 500 million years. Yet we know soft tissue cannot last that long. There is no good mechanism for it. Thanks it's nice to see others out there questioning the crazies of academia

I've experienced beings living on other planets in their bodies who use types of telescopes to project themselves to other planets. One example is cloud beings who are not fluffy clouds; they are giant reptile-like benign beings who float in our clouds in a semi-trance state and hate telephone poles. They can put ideas in our heads.
If memory serves, I think this is the first video of yours that I saw and responded to, but don't quote me on that. Since then I've seen more of your videos, very informative, and have asked about things( sometimes rudely) that confuses me. You have graciously answered ALL of them. Thank you. In your last response to me , you referred me to this video so I watched it again. As you might have guessed, I came to ask a question but then came across my previous comment which, after re-reading, still stand by and would love to have it addressed, if you care to waste your time. Just to make sure I get it right, Sitchin says, and I don't believe he translated the tablets but interpreted others' translations differently, the Anunnaki are a part of our solar system and comes by every 3600yrs. In case I didn't mentioned it before, there was a rip in their atmosphere and the fix for it was gold. Please remember, it took them thousands of years(our time, but just a few for them) to scientifically study this problem. They did not mine other planets for materials because that was not their aim, gold was, and we have to suppose that they came to the only source they knew. We(humans) KNOW there's gold on earth, we INFER there's gold elsewhere. What if there's not? Gold mining was laborious work and they sought help by engineering an existing creature on earth into man to do this work. Man's creation was not a desired act but a necessary one to quell a worker's revolt. Don't quote me on this but I think our anatomy shows this "splicing of DNA." Obviously we've surpassed our function. Yes, I believe they could afford to wait thousands of years for man to develop because of the way they construct time. I just don't believe half of the Sumerian Kings List, I believe all of it. For example, I now understand the mystery behind the bible's claim that a thousand years is like a day with the lord and a day like a thousand years. It also says he'll return with fire and brimstones. This makes sense to me. The last time their planet came to our neighbourhood, I believe, it caused a global flood and this is most likely due to a degradation in it's orbit and the next time around, with further degradation, there will be "fire and brimstone," as promised. I find your theory on the formation of our solar system does not support the existence of the Asteroid Belt(which I incorrectly named as the Kuiper Belt in my previous observation.) You did not address this fact. On the other hand, your videos never disappoint.

Asteroid 16 Psyche in the asteroid belt has a large amount of gold (theprint.in/opinion/giant-asteroid-has-gold-worth-700-quintillion-but-it-wont-make-us-richer/260482). Mant comments pointed out that it would have been an easier mining target than Earth if Anunnaki on Nibiru wanted to get gold.
I read that Sitchin's translation is far from accurate and there is a lot of misinformation. According to the ancient tablets, they mined gold from the ocean initially. When they arrived in the Mesopotamian area. When that proved insufficient, they moved mining elsewhere. The word used was the “abzu”. Translated as down- under. south… Africa is the presumed area and where the evidence appears.

Thank you very much for this contribution, which makes it very clear why there is absolutely no sense behind any wild Annunaki (conspiracy) theories. For me a much more important question is why such wild theories still persist and which benefit the followers of such theories do gain. If not them someone was. Plenty of evidence in South Africa and Zimbabwe of ancient mining efforts. Fits with the Sumerian epics of the Annunaki.
I have seen photos of some of these ancient mines and they appear to be quite crude with manual tool marks. If these were the Anunnaki mines, then these gods didn't have advanced mining tools.

Maybe they crash landed and had to start from scratch, had the knowledge to mine and build and not the tools to do that work.
So they started to mine the ore and materials they needed to get themselves back the ability to leave the planet.
May have taken them generations to get back to a reasonable advanced level by which time they were building pyramids and teaching the natives.
If they left just prior to the flood about 11,500 years ago, they may have filled in the T shape pillars at GoBekli Tepe and the surrounds so that in years to come the survivors of the flood could dig them up. Maybe we just havent dug up the important works as yet that explains who they were and why they did what they did.
There are a lot of mysteries regarding our past but I am certain we are a hybrid species and we had help thousands of years ago in building civilisation.

That’s enough time to mine for gold in the APSU (Southern Région..ie Africa) ,créate humans in their image,herd them out of Africa 200,000yrs ago to the Edin in the fertile crescent and from there have them disperse around the world. That is also enough time to build mega structures around the world from a space pad at Baalbek to a smelting operation at Giza and other structures around the world introducing peoples to civilisation with their handbags of knowledge. Tina, I am 40% into the video and so far, most of your argument depends on the idea that the Annunaki came from another star. What if they came from our solar system? Either from the blown up planet that is now our asteroid belt or from a Planet X with a wide orbit around our sun.

Well, according to Sitchin in his book the 12th Planet, they went to Mesopotamia for the people there. They made their primary gold mines in the South of Africa if I recall correctly.

I read that there was a moment in the history of the earth when an entire continent plunged into magma and melted into it. There could be a civilization on this continent that could surpass ours in its development. It is written in the scientific literature. This fact is worth the fact that we should not forget about it and such possible options. The Earth is a complex planet in its structure, and life on it can easily die due to any changes.
I agree with you that there is zero purpose to travel this far across the galaxy to mine "gold" on this planet, when you can mine an asteroid or moon.

Yep....i never could buy the alien coming to earth story. Can you imagine the level of preparation and years of investment coming here. Even if they are from our system. Now, imagine them coming from the other side of the galaxy. It might make more sense to say they are from another dimension, which is near impossible to do if science is to be believed.

If the Annunaki lived longer than humans, this would account for multiple civilisations having record (using different titles and names) of their existence.
Unless they chose to travel to maintain their dominance.
Even if their technology was constructed (on Earth) from local materials, it would have long since biodegraded by now.
And embedded stones to act as cutting devices, would have been left and found by man to be seen as treasure (pillaged).
Therefore, no trace of such machinery would be found.

The Earth is a differenciated planet. It means that most metals have sunk to the core and there is very little to mine at the surface. Aliens that have mastered interstellar travel would by far choose to go on an undifferentiated metallic asteroid like Psyche to replenish easily their reserve of metals.
We are discovering new things about the universe and our own solar system constantly. New planets are always being discovered. We may get a surprise or not. However, we don't know where the Anunnaki really came from, so we can only speculate and hypothesize. The Anunnaki story, however, does line up with historical and biblically accounts of their actual existence and will continue to be debated.

I think that if their was mining it was part of a multifaceted reason for being here . I think there was higher technology society here at that time . And your theory of taking biological samples would be part of it . Looking at the hundreds of thousands if not more stone circles all across Southern Africa brought to our attention by Michael Tellinger who thinks they were resonance points possibly for gold extraction , maybe there were ways of harvesting gold and other metals or minerals yet to be understood by todays science fields .

You don’t see depictions of anunnaki wearing any space suits or a breathing apparatus. They are dressed in normal robes. They probably chose earth not only because it has the minerals they needed, but also because it has the type of atmosphere that is similar to their home planet.
If their planet was in a state of emergency, then it would make sense for them to send out expeditions that required the least amount of resources. Their atmosphere was depleting, which is why they needed gold in its monoatomic form to repair their atmosphere. Mining asteroids or planets nearer to them would make it necessary for them to bring breathable air, which they didn’t have to spare.
Yes I have thoroughly enjoyed this and using the green on your lovely jumper and the black hiding everything out for this example, I propose that lateral thinking compatibility with our carbon footprint as a green line as a beginning, but changes at a predetermined stage, still remaining a green line but on a course of elateral thinking , again not common with carbon humans that might get us closer to what we seek . Sadly most carbon lifeforms won't be able to do this as at best are only able to create a dream type perspective of life including their own hence dominating the large mass of black , again using on your jumper, therfore it could still be possible, that humans may have played a part of being used by alien control . Well done. However our civilization is looking at asteroids and other planets to mine resources. And also colonize. Also where did all of the civilization suddenly come from. Something gave us an evolutionary boost into the Sumerian culture. Of course where did all the monoliths come from which are far older than the Sumerian civilization.
I've often thought that gold could not have been important enough to come all that way for. Perhaps we have been an alien colony far longer then our own human history timeline.
