@@Gorealaracer38 The mount for the sport and trail are the same so it should mount just like it did on the trail. Just make sure you get a winch that the mounting holes are 6-1/2" on center so you want have to drill holes like i did. Thanks you watching.
I just got the same winch. It did not come with the solenoid, did you purchase that as well? Just wondering what your part list looks like if you would be willing to post that?
The winch came with everything you need. Flare head, mounting plate, contractor, switch, wiring, remote control transmitter and receiver. The flare head was to small for the factory mount plate on the Maverick so I had to buy a different one. Also the switch is made to mount to handlebars or a pipe so i also purchase a rocker switch. Thanks fo watching.
Benjamin Wilson the inline fuse for my winch was for the control power. One end want to switched 12v power and the other end to the dash switch but you should look at the wiring diagram that cam with your winch. Thanks for watching.
They are just standard metal drill bits that you can pick up anywhere. When drilling make sure you start with a small bit and work your way up to a bigger one. When drilling these I probably use three different size bits. It will go much easier and it will not be as hard on the bits. Using a little bit of oil on the tip of the bit will also help.
