If you guys have any questions pertaining to setup, the app or anything related to these light bars, feel free to comment with your question and I’ll do my best to help 😊.
Hey Qasim a question for you sir! I have the Govee Immersion lights to backlight my TV with a camera! Do I need to install and use another camera or can I just use a dual ‘Y’ usb cable to use one camera and ‘share’ the App?
@@morrisking3282 You know that’s really an interesting question and I myself was thinking whether that would work or not. If it did I would think they’d allow you to buy the adapter or something. Like for example would be nice to have 4 light bars and have them all sync. Let me know if you try it and if it works as it’s definitely worth a try. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽😊.
Got these now for about 1 year orso and they are awesome! The upgrade they did with the separation makes them even better. To have this capability with the monitor output using Philips would have set me back way more. I believe the Philips control box alone is already 299 in dollar. I got these lamps on a deal for 59 dollar!
What if I want to set these up with my dual monitor? How would I do that? Both only have only one cord, that would be weird with the dual monitors wouldn't that?
@Pierre Stanley Landrin - They have a single cord which splits into both light bars towards the end. I set these up for a buddy with a dual monitor setup and we ran both of the cables don’t behind the center of the monitor arm and it’s a completely clean setup. Hope this helps and thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽😊.
@Krzysztof Exciter - That’s awesome I’m really happy the video helped you. These are great and work really well, I’ve still got mine running without any issues. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽.
Ps they handed out free upgrades for a new control box last december. I just found out 2 weeks okay and contacted them. They are now offering a free upgrade for me as well. With that new control box, you can set the flow pro bars to be a sync center and you can sync up to 7 devices to it. They need to be wifi enabled i believe. I'm not 100% sure of that though
@shams hoque - You could have both in google home like I have, or Amazon and then you’d be able to have google assistant or Alexa control both of them.
@Juan Palacios - You could most definitely do that but I personally like the light spread on these and the Philips hue play bars much better. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽😊.
@lenny more - I found it on a website called wallpapersden.com I’ve created a shared link for it so you can download it from here: www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/0bi6Oyhwtafq_oGisShv3-wCQ#wallpapersden
Govee has mentioned they are doing an update to the issues of having video/game mode not syncing to the tv.. The new update will be version 4.2... The Phillips hue is still the best in my opinion, but it does cost money adding everything into.. This is a very simple and basic way to have that good light flow in your environment... Good video man 👍
@Ki77a WhSpRz - Hey thanks for the info I really appreciate it 😊. Yeah I agree these lights are definitely awesome and a great way to add some rgb color to any room/setup. Philips is expensive for sure and I’d have to agree it’s the best. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽😊.
@Ifrain Majano - Hey I wouldn’t recommend that, they’re bright for ambient light at a desk setup but if you are streaming like a talking head portion of yourself then you definitely wanna go with something like the elgato key light. Hope this helps and thanks for watching I really appreciate it.
Very informative video...thank you for providing. I just bought the Grovee Flow (without camera). If I were to purchase 2 more to use in a different area in the same room, would I still be able to operate those from the app as well? Thank you!
Hi David! Thank you for your feedback and I’m glad the video was helpful. Yes if you buy more you’ll be able to add them to the app just fine and also have full control of them. Hope this helps and do let me know if you have any other questions for me. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽😊.
@Jaron Davila - The jerker man I wish they still made this one. I just recently swapped it out but still keeping it as a work desk. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽😊.
That's what i thought. Looking at the camera sync feature, it seems cool but the thought of havimg it sticking out light that, would be a con more than a pro. I would go for the glow flow as opposed to the pro version cause i wont see myself using the sync feature. I am more hyped about the music sync feature which is also available for the standard kit
@chipotle cat - Yeha the sync feature is definitively nice and I can see some people enjoying it as well. For me personally it’s the same I’d much rather just go for the basic model as I don’t really like having the camera hanging there. The music sync is definitely cool for sure, another great product to check out is their aura table lamp. Just recently did a video on that one as well. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽😊.
@@QasimZafar The one with the 2 bars and camera is that the pro? I just got it today.. It looked cool and cheap In cost for a monitor for that video image sync
Hue lights do not require the sync box for use with PC. All that's required is the lights, and a bridge. The pc installed app does the light syncing for you once you self calibrate light positioning.
You can easliy mount the camera to that board above your monitor and those have that weird thing stick out as an antenna. You setup is made for this hahaha
@Kias Uddin - Thanks bro! It’s this one: www.amazon.com/dp/B079L4WR4T?ref=exp_qasimzafar_dp_vv_mw I’ve got it paired with my M1 Mac Mini and I love it.
@JK Productions - Yes you are right but I’m cool with that because if you don’t use the camera module with this model they don’t connect over WiFi…they only work on Bluetooth as well and since I’m not using it I don’t mind it. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏽😊.
Call me paranoid, but I really don’t know if I feel comfortable with the camera pointing at my monitor where I have all sorts of sensitive information. I’d rather just point it at another light source
@Sean Dudge - That’s totally fine man and I agree with you…you never really know. I’ve been using them without the camera and light sync and I’m fine with that. Only downside is that when you disconnect the camera they no longer work over WiFi. I have them set to one theme so I’m not really bothered by it, I just open the app and turn them on real quick. @Rombout Verslujis - I like it actually, it works really well and I enjoy that I can have multiple lights of mine sync. I’ve had it almost two years now so it’s paid off well for me. It’s definitely not for everyone though and honestly whatever works and as long as you’re happy that’s all that matters 😊.

Govee now has a sync box. The bars also now have split colors for movies so they adjust to colors on each side now
That’s great to know I haven’t used any of their recent lights. I still have the two light bars that I use at my desk so that’s all I’ve been using.

Is there a way to use this with philips bridge?

How long is the cord connecting the lights together?
@patrickinferno 1 - I’d have to measure it to be accurate but it’s plenty long to get it setup nicely at a desk or even two behind a TV.
