I got to see them Sunday and they performed this with Lindsey Stirling on the Jumbo tron. It was EPIC! So glad you liked this. Your PTX reactions are always well worth the view. Thank you!
You should also check out and react to Lindsey Stirling's Christmas songs in which she sings on like "Santa Baby", "I Wonder As I Wonder" and her original Christmas song "Warmer In The Winter" in which she also dances on with her pro dance partner from Dancing With The Stars (2017). This was the third collaboration between Lindsey and Pentatonix. The other collaborations were "Papaoutai" and "Radio Active".
Fantastic, not your normal and usual Christmas time song. They take a song, a melody and turn it into something special. They are just so talented, amazing.
I enjoyed your reaction to this amazing Pentatonix video. Thank you for reacting so quickly. Glad that you liked it. It's a cover. They perform this on tour. They are on tour now. Check to see if they are coming near you. Here is a link to a fan-shot video of part of the song at one of the tour stops: ua-cam.com/video/EjIcWzurYnE/v-deo.html
Not an original...it's a little kid's song that they just turned on its head and created something completely modern and definitely not kiddy sounding at all. A good comparison would be taking Mary Had a Little Lamb and making it sound like this lol
To be completely honest, since Kirstin and Mitch were singing their entire part in unison it annoys me there were 19 shots of Kirstin and only 14 of Mitch. For comparison, Scott was singing lead and had 18 shots. I think the obvious disparity could've been avoided if they'd shot some group scenes or Mitch and Kirstin together... they did post photos showing they were all there on set together.
I’ve been thinking about this comment since I saw it on another channel. Let me preface my thought by noting that I am always protective of Mitch, but maybe they were looking at a balance over all the vids on the album? Mitch gets lots (although there can never be enough) of screen time in The Prayer. Just a thought, and I may be completely off base.
Lol...Lindsay is dance trained as well! And yes this is phenomenal!

I get to see them next Thursday and I can’t stop talking about it

LoL. Lindsey can bend all the way backward to where her head is touching the ground then stand back up while playing. She is amazing live.

GORGEOUS VIDEO!!🌟
Love this video and your reaction.
There's some fan videos from their Evergreen tour they are on now that would be good for you to see!
How did they make over the river and through the wods sound like a rock song?
Did you realize that Kevin, the beat boxer, is the one playing the cello?

I enjoyed this video, but I like the other Evergreen videos better. Still great Pentatonix music though.
