I'm confused, what's wrong with the tweet?? People acting like Israel is above reproach is a real issue.
There was a massive controversy years back of several members being anti semitic, I don't mean left wing critical of Israel but straight up hating Jews.
It's always been a sensitive subject so the more moderate leadership are more cautious of anything related to Israel.
I say the same thing when Liberals accuse people of racism for noticing statistics.
Crazy thing is the Labour party have already replaced her, this was premeditated
For a progressive party, they sure hate brown people…
They got their excuse. They probably always wanted her out and finally got a reason
There’s literally no way to criticise Israel without this kind of reaction. Unfortunately the Labour party hitched their ride to this mentality as a means of ridding itself of Corbyn and less centrist elements so they continue to lean into it..
Lol, point put crime stats and you do the same thing.
I'm glad she sueing em
liking a tweet...
The irony here is the content of the tweet has been proven true,
Absolutely Insane ban someone for such a small infraction. Instances like this make it seem like Labor trying really hard to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Labour & Tories are just two sides of the same parliamentary problem. Also, both parties take bribes from Israeli lobbies.
Honestly if I agreed with that tweet, this situation would seem like evidence that it's true.
So it's literally not even hateful or a dogwhistle, it's simply problematic. Britain can't become more cringe in my mind so I'm not surprised.
British speech laws are absurd...
Canada: hold my beer
@@whlewis9164 LOL not wrong there. America you have issues but you take your freedoms for granted. I love this place and am so happy I moved here honestly.
It’s not though
@@scottessery100 how is this not absurd lmao
@@scottessery100 except it is tho
Im sorry for my country
Dw bout it the US ain't much better
@@sanjaynataraj2009 Thanks :) i guess we can suck together father and son.
@@sanjaynataraj2009nor is Canada lol, honestly after moving to America I prefer it here. Not a perfect nation by any means but a nice one to live in nonetheless.
Don't be sorry. Just work to make it better.
@@FuriousFire898 hey the entire anglophone world is going through a political kidney stone. We’re in this together.
Wheres the trump news at?! 😂 34 and 0 baby !
as a right winger, im very happy about this lol. He's such a loser.
Hell yeah! I thank that Jury for their service🫡
Bet that trial was miserable 🤣
Ironically her being sacked exactly proves the jon stewarts sketch
Thank you for covering this.
The UK laws are weird, I’m pretty sure there’s a law there that states what you do and say online count what you do and say in public on the street, so basically falls under causing a public disturbance, is their justification for their actions on suspending people or arresting them based on speech online. I also think context doesn’t matter as well because there was this young woman who friend passed away as she tweeted out the lyrics to her friends, favorite song in remembrance of her and the song so happened to be a rap song, which obviously had the n-word in it. She was arrested, found guilty, and under house arrest and curfew for a year.
"Just trust the system bro"
It is censorship of freedom of expression.
@@kingace6186not really. Just look at half the USA thinking trump tells the truth
"I'm pretty sure there is a law..." Dude? Really. You could just Google it and not assume some shit and go on a tangent on how stupid some laws, you just conjured out of nothing, are.
Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of stupid laws in general, but most of them don't get enforced.
Also there is no law supporting what the labor party did. It has nothing to do with laws. It has to do with publicity and infighting within the party.
Absolutely ridiculous, a fucking tweet.
Chewed up and spat out! This lady dedicated so much for Labour and look how they treated her.
Other male colleagues have done far worse and are still running for election.
Like who
That is what you get when you limit freedom of speech like they do in the uk.
I'm not sure this is news, the uk is strict as ever on iffy talk, she admitted it was wrong to endorse crap like that, and now she's fine and the problem speech is out of view, it's business as usual for better or worse here
It's never only for liking a tweet. Outrage baiting.
What in the absolute fk. This is such nonsense.
Bruh we live a "free" world... Shame
She gets that liking the tweet was wrong. Personay I don't want representatives who don't exercae better judgement.
How is liking a tweet by Jon Stewart can be considered anti-semitic?
Good rinse.
Labour just want powe
If Donald Trump can be a president while being a convicted felon, I don't see how she can be banned for liking a tweet
Well… it’s two separate countries so comparing the two doesn’t really make sense
@@NMWEYSILYSMMI would think that the US and the UK have similar enough ideals to compare them
@clanman8278 The UK and the US have markedly different ideals lmao.
@@Dramat1c_Irony I don't see why I can't still make a comparison
@@Dramat1c_Irony why can’t he make a comparison though? I compare my home country of Canada to my current home the USA all the time?
They acting as if she was consistent with associating with anti-Semitic remarks
As a Zionist Jew, she seems fine to me. I don’t get it.
First up I'll say this I'm a freedom of speech absolutist across the board and support those freedoms for everyone in every country so I'm not justifying anything here. Unfortunately this type of justification is only even considered under UK law because of their very broad and vague hate speech laws that apply online therefore making people who share, re-tweet, or comment things that are discriminatory or can be seen as such through subjective mental gymnastics makes them criminals. That's just the unfortunate reality here and why we all should value freedom over the false sense of security that we can get people arrested for saying mean things online, all I hope is that they repeal those laws and idiotic crap like this doesn't happen again
brit moment
Labour party is exceptionally sensitive about this after Jeremy Corbyn's antisemitism They stand a good chance to do well in this next election, they don't need any more controversy. So that's why.
Israel’s actions aren’t antisemitic surely
Looks like aoc lol
I support israel, but there is nothing very scandalous about this.
Labour is trying to shift away from its radical tankie/anti semetic base and appeal to moderates. I wholeheartedly support this. If you seen some of the shit these people say..
Skibidi
Galvanized square steel
quintalious quangledangle
baby grunk?
Truly the philosophers of our generation
Geez, i am a pretty hardcore Zionist but id trade her for AOC or Talib any dam day. Heck take em both. Actually matter of fact, keep her and take them😂 there, even better
She's accusing the labour party of being islamophobic, and she thinks this will make labour LESS popular amongst voters? Not very politically savvy is she.
You don't know shi. She is actually responsible for Labour's resurgence. In 2019, when the Tories won big and Labour was declining nationwide, Faiza Shaheen's constituencies (Chingford and Woodford Green) were the only ones that gained voters due to the fact that she is so active in the community. She was a rising star amongst the Labour Party and she was intensely loyal. The only "problem" is that she is a brown, muslim woman with Leftist politics. She is the Bernie of the UK.
Wasn’t the labour party under Corbin accused of ani semitism.
Shes infultrating
A woman with free will in a free country. How awful.😑
What did she do? I disagree with her policies but she’s clearly done nothing wrong here.
