A brilliant cozy and creepy UA-camr by the name of The Librarian explained the black box covering the Sun. It's become some lovecraftian horror that you couldn't understand or perceive it because it's so otherworldly and cosmic, our minds aren't built to understand the physical or at least visual form of such an entity, and in some cases even looking at it would snap your mind instantly, a vegetable with no soul form of consciousness. You'd think after so much time of playing, Joel wouldn't be incredibly sloppy at work, paranoid of everything and still scared by silly things like the literal "OwO meow" robot. Never change Joel.
That sun event is genuinely horrifying. It reminds me of a dream I had where the world was frozen in time. Nothing was moving, nothing was making a sound. Everything was eerily still and silent. This looks like the sun from my dream.
Kerfuś staring at the mannequins reminds me of those two scp’s that will stare at scp 173 (the one that only moves when you don’t look at it) to keep humans safe from it since they don’t blink the monopods or whatever
1:37:53 Can we just note how Joel is asked how much longer he's playing, he says "Eh, About an Hour" and then there's literally a few seconds short of an exact hour left in the video?
I just got all the story events just last week myself probably not too long before Joey did. That War of the Worlds Machine being a homie and killing off those damned orbs was such an unexpected twist during my playthrough too. Loved the irony of the Bad Sun event happening just before the final event too! multiple lights were extinguished that day.
I love the idea of one set of aliens trying to kill this hapless pathetic researcher, and the other ones getting tired of it and sending the Eye of Providence, Forgotten Defender Of Humanity Against Unfair Bullying to defend him, even if it was just luck that it happened in such immediate order It makes a good point that if there is threatening life in the universe, we can still become friends with some of them
I'm still waiting for the visceral reactions Joel had from Signal Simulator, I know the killing suns is close. But nothing so far has topped or matched the absolute fear of the hovering triangle over his base.
unfortunately i don't think that'll ever happen again, he's just been exposed to too much alien stuff at this point to get scared anything in this type of game, it's no one's fault, that's just the nature of these types of things, all we can hope for is that there's some stuff that'll spook him even somewhat close to that, like kurfur sprinting at him in the middle of the night
Depending on how he handles... a certain event that was related to one of the ones in this stream.. he might have a heart attack. Because I shat an entire city-block when that event was going.
Ahh... How I love SCP-001. For those unaware, one of the proposals for SCP-001 is an event called "When Day Breaks" where the sun glows a hot red and reduces all of humanity into bloody flesh-nexus creatures that want to be together. The Bad Sun event in Voices of the Void is, in all likelihood, a direct reference to SCP-001.

Joey trying to throw the moving mannequin out the roof-hole til it broke was such a joy to watch
now we wait for the Timestamp Man
mimimimimimimi oh no he comin
52:42 bad sun
01:29:49 pyramid
2:37:50 stream ends
Oh thanks I was looking for that one
Ah yes, the one I’ve been asking for for a long time, the Bad Sun event.
Unfortunately he didn’t die to it since you get a specific game over screen from dying to it.
On the plus side, the quad bike now has a comfy warm germ-free seat
I can't believe the pyramid villain killed all the ball friends....
You'd think after so much time of playing, Joel wouldn't be incredibly sloppy at work, paranoid of everything and still scared by silly things like the literal "OwO meow" robot. Never change Joel.
I really hope Joel plays Lethal Company someday.
Joel, Vinny, Mike, and probably limes playing lethal company would be comedy gold. Joey collaborative streams are so rare but they are always great.
It reminds me of Meme House with 173 and the Gnome.
Loved the irony of the Bad Sun event happening just before the final event too! multiple lights were extinguished that day.
two voices vids in one day?? what a great day to live
he played votv for 5 hours straight a few days ago, and this is that stream broken up. insane man.
@@colly6022 sorry to burst your bubble but I didn’t make it to the stream
How it feels to live in a hot/deserted region:
joey please turn off your flashlight when you dont need it its been 17 parts joey please
I love the idea of one set of aliens trying to kill this hapless pathetic researcher, and the other ones getting tired of it and sending the Eye of Providence, Forgotten Defender Of Humanity Against Unfair Bullying to defend him, even if it was just luck that it happened in such immediate order
It makes a good point that if there is threatening life in the universe, we can still become friends with some of them
Someone tell Joey to clean up the flesh chunks, its attracting the cockroaches.
he's just gonna say it's free food
2 episodes in one day! Its not my birthday for another 10 days, Joel
28:14 does anybody else hear "help me" in this signal around the 2/3 or am i trippin on those *_green mushrooms_*
sounds like a femur breaker momento heavily distorted lol
Michael don't leave me here!
Finally... all these years waiting for the best episode of Voices of the Void it's here, the PIRAMID is HERE !!!
joel should add one of those "1 hour of silence but broken up by X videos" to the tv
"Black hole sun won't you come"
New Voices of the Void, time to drop everything!
We’ve been waiting joebel
Yo this episode is a goddamn masterpiece
[bad sun in the thumbnail]
oh lovely, the epilepsy event lol
The fact that chat thought Varg Vikernes in the Whang video was Joey 🤣
This stream in a nutshell: 🚨🚨🚨
Bad sun is fckn scary. Like legit shit myself when i played this game
WE ARE SO BACK BABBIE
Who would win?
Behemoth energy-eating tripod
Or
🪑
The bad sun and pyramid events back to back, I am happy
Voices of the Void 17: Thy Flesh Consumed
I just saw a Roomba eat a mannaquin. We have to tell Joel next Void stream.
Pretty sure he got WAY more scared from the Alien Light incident and the Sleep Demon
@@jesusramirezromo2037the sleep demon had him legitimately shaken afterwards
@@jesusramirezromo2037 oh yeah I completely forgot about those two events. That was good reaction as well.
Depending on how he handles... a certain event that was related to one of the ones in this stream.. he might have a heart attack.
Because I shat an entire city-block when that event was going.
2:14:23 Hey, I recognize that signal (I used it in my own analog horror thingy). I think it was emanations from Saturn recorded by the Cassini orbiter
1:06:50 my god. I actually vaguely remember this commercial. It’s real
Nowhere to run? NOWHERE TO HIDE?
Bad sun
Bad sun over paradise
now the arirals slowly retreat to the shadows
out of shight
I can't believe Joel ate his testicle live on stream.
17 streams in STILL CANT PLAY THE GAME lol Joel please.. SAVE EVERY SIGNAL at EVERYLEVEL
I'll never be ready for the eyes jumpscare (also, joel screaming "OOOH")
fuck, that one got me
Anybody Gunna tell joey about O M E G A Kerfus
Finally, Joel saw the pyramidhead
That Billy May's Jump scare...LOL got me too
"Microsoft jumpscare"
THE FROG IS COMING
Vinny's pineapple pizza make my dingaling go WOWIE!
