I respect your opinion but this game really does just look like black ops 3 campaign running around and shooting people and using a jet pack basic gameplay we have already seen before and we have seen this with no man’s sky and that was a disappointment
This is probably the first time I’ve seen a game where there is almost to much stuff to do! This is insane, this is the literal stuff I’ve been dreaming about
I'm excited, but I'm going to temper my expectations. You can still see a lot of 'creation engine' quirks in a lot of these shots. Here's to hoping it will turn out great! The adoring fan bit is some of the funniest/cheesiest fan service I've ever seen to date as well rofl.
This looks great but the frame rate and amount of nearly empty worlds definitely worries me. This gameplay overview did a great job of establishing the atmosphere and in depth customization but I feel like it lacked details about the gameplay systems. Character customization- great. Ship customization- great. Gun play- great. Base building- great. But what about the contents of a mission. What will I BE doing during the runtime? Not to say that they didn’t touch on these things, but I don’t feel a sense of cohesion between the vast amounts of planets and the contents within them. I am satisfied with the overview but also slightly worried. Does anyone else feel this way?
Yes, I feel nearly the same way as well. I'd actually add that while they showed a good variety of things to customise for example, there only seemed to be a very limited number of things to do within the customisation itself, if that makes sense. Ships were looking fun to do and is a great feature overall, for example, but I didn't actually see many different ship parts to choose from. I also felt like that applies to the rest; the worlds seemed like there were loads, but in the end how different are they in terms of how they play or even feel and look? Animals, I felt like I already saw a lot of repetition with slight, rather meaningless, variation in this video alone. The characters and writing/voice acting felt more like 2010 than current era. It also appears you just select areas to land to by fast travel and can't fly around the planets? Is that correct? To be clear, I'm still cautiously optimistic, and all of the above can turn out pointless worries. The old feel of characters and their lines will also mean little if the overall experience with them is in depth, varied, and meaningful.
@@queenbean7071 People preorder just to have it before than anyone else, don't think they are expecting it to be perfect. I was very skeptical about starfield, especially after the first gameplay showcase, but this direct has actually made me a little excited for this game.
It's extremely ambitious, one of the most ambitious gamss ever in fact. Dont know whether theyre going to nail this one, but a launch date so close from today shows their confidence. They used to do the same even before. They would reveal the gameplay and set a launch date 6 months from then. There is surely some optimism. Fingers crossed 🤞
Just want to mention how even with the incredible gameplay aspects and graphical fidelity that seem to solve most issues I've had with Elite Dangerous and No Man's Sky in the past, my biggest takeaway from this presentation is just how incredible the soundtrack is. Ambient electronica with minimalist, sparkly synth just fits so well with the game I can see myself buying the OST when it comes out, never expected a Bethesda game to be pushing sonic boundaries like this.
Bruh the ship building is crazy. And the inside reminds me so much of the movie Alien, the Nostromo. I’ve been on PS5 this gen but this will make me buy a series X.
The space combat looks lame. You can't fly between planets so there's even less reason to be on your ship. Space travel boils down to glorified loading screens. Boarding enemy ships is just a loading screen. I don't know what people are so impressed with honestly.

The size and complexity of this game is astounding. I really wish the devs the best and hope that people will have some patience for things that will not work in the beginning.
There is no SIZE, nor COMPLEXITY, mate. ALL planets are procedurally generated by random generator same in No Man's Sky. That's why size of the NMS os only 12Gb. Because all they handmade is few buildings, spacestations and ships. Everything else is generated by itself.

I guarantee you there will be one, even if only mad ebay modders. Actually, the modded version will likely be better, anyway. If Skyrim and Fallout 4 are any indication. I love Skyrim survival mods, but the default ones Bethesda made were pretty lackluster, imo 😬. I guess it depends on what you're looking for in survival mode, though 🤷🏻♂️.
@@SpiderboyN2Jesus Fallout 4 survival was good, Skyrim just isn’t a game where survival makes sense, it’s not a very dangerous world, and food, water, and beds are all so abundant that it’s not an issue to satisfy those needs, it’s just busywork.
While I understand the need to cap the game at 30fps with it running at 4K, it still would have been nice to give players the option to run it at a lower resolution at 60fps with the occasional frame rate dip. Todd Howard flatout said they got it running at 60fps on the XSX, but it wasn’t always stable. Just give players the option for a performance mode if they want that. I get that the game is big but just give people the option is all I ask. And what’s worse, if you don’t have a 4K tv, you still get stuck with the 30fps. Some people don’t mind the 30fps and others do. That’s why options exist. This game looks like it has a lot of flying, aiming and shooting. The 30fps might be a deal breaker for a lot of people.
We still have that Oblivion level face rigging 😂. Unblinking eyes, giant stiff levers for eyebrows and an entire mouth and cheek region that moves as one.
The hair looks like melted plastic too. They should’ve scrapped the code and built it from the ground up. You’re always going to get the buggy DNA in these games. The engine is just horrible.
"that moon isn't just a backdrop, you can actually go there too", I feel is going to be the next "16 times the detail" meme. of course its a bethesda game so i'll be expecting a good amount of bugs and glitches. but that said. the game looks absolutely phenomenal. my school and worklife is going to tank after this game comes out.
They present all this new stuff like it’s revolutionary but it has been done a million times before. Companions, character traits, character backgrounds that give 3 skills. Dialogue trees. Leveling up and getting skill points and entering into skill trees. This honestly doesn’t look any more interesting than a million other games out there
This looks EPIC! I wish they had an option (If they haven't already) to offer a First Person view from inside your space helmet. A bit like the offerings they have on 'motorcycle racing' games only executed a lot LOT better! 🤣 I know it would restrict the FOV, however I think if done properly, it would be such a cool aspect to add more immersion to the game too. Yeah, I can't wait to launch him out an airlock.
This is going to be more of a sandbox experience like fo2 . Cycled scenarios.
That gun play was looking sketchy.

Todd Howard flatout said they got it running at 60fps on the XSX, but it wasn’t always stable. Just give players the option for a performance mode if they want that. @@The.Usurper I mean, at least Fallout 4 has the comical levels of viscera to aid the illusion the gunplay has punch. This doesn't even have that.
Awesome, hopefully the final product delivers it looks amazing. @14:58 glad to see Adoring Fan make a return in someway haha thats cool.
Looking really, really, solid. Also, was a really nice presentation. Looking forward to this.
The amount of work that just went into this video is definitely impressive
This looks EPIC! I wish they had an option (If they haven't already) to offer a First Person view from inside your space helmet.
A bit like the offerings they have on 'motorcycle racing' games only executed a lot LOT better! 🤣
I know it would restrict the FOV, however I think if done properly, it would be such a cool aspect to add more immersion to the game too.
Looking great so far though!! Excited to check it out in person. 👍
If past Bethesda games are anything to go on, I reckon they will.
They do!
This, I imagine, would be like getting in and out of power armor in Fallout
this will probably be a mod day 1
Modders have your back!
For the first time, 16 times the detail actually means something.
I just can’t be excited about this till it comes out and the reviews are in. Been burnt by Bethesda too many times now
When have you been burned other than 76?
Honestly, this is just became my most anticipated game.
I think Bethesda is a fantastic studio - however (and maybe I am wrong) but I'd rather stay in a Solar System and visit a much more detailed richer planet and you can only visit each planet when specific technology, or plot allows. I think that would be more amazing IMHO. Anyone out there agree?
i was shocked to find out they brought back the adoring fan from oblivion in this other wise no man skies like game
the ship stuff does have me looking foward to the game at least a little bit though
in fact im literally just considering creating the normandy from mass effect |(or as close as the game will allow me) and creating a commander sheperd character if they where a bounty hunter
I’ve talked to Craig Sechler (voice of adoring fan) and he told me about how he was voicing him, he seemed pretty happy about it
@@owentayygaming7567 the back story for my character will be insane
It's eerie how the game is so photorealistic that the characters faces look like very detailed action figures...
