I made a few comments about the W502 I'd bought on your review for the W901 and, having finally managed to get a refund, was going to point you to my review on the Carpuride site. But they've deleted it. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
@@CRD90 Sorted in the end. After all the questions I got from support about Bluetooth pairing, software version numbers and taking videos of my dead-on-arrival unit, Carpuride finally agreed to a refund. I had to pay return shipping to China of course and, despite following all their return rules, customs in China held it requiring a $50 fee to be paid. Carpuride wanted me to pay this before they would refund my money. They relented and refunded when I made it clear that the only benefit of them getting it back rather than me recycling it was for them to find out what the fault was, so the $50 would be for their benefit, not mine. I left a 1* review for the D-o-A unit, poor support and difficult return process, but that's been deleted. I wonder how many other reviews they don't like have also been deleted? The Carpuride W103 I bought for the MX5 has been great, but they've not asked me to review that. I've now got the similar CarPlay Lite C5 from Ottocast on the bike, and while it's not perfect, at least it works!
I noticed that you had a Garmin GPS. I to have a Garmin and Phone mounted on my bike. Interested as to why you would add this system when everything is already covered by the Garmin and phone?
The goal is to keep your phone out of harm's way (vibrations, heat, water in the charging port, falls...) and safely in your pocket/bag/backpack. It's basically a larger screen that emulates your phone, so it helps if your vision is failing, but also allows you to keep all your stuff centralized to your phone. You can use multiple mapping services, contrary to a Garmin, and usually route planning is a lot less clunky, especially if you need to handle GPX tracks. It also connects to your headset, so you can use voice to control your apps, your music, your calls and so on... but also interact with the screen (to hang up a call, skip a song and so on..). So, you get rid of phone and GPS on the bike/handlebars, for one large screen and a stored phone, which you don't have to interact with.
@@DealazonDaily No problem bud, make sure to use our discount code, it helps shows the viewers we bring through and allows for future products reviews 👍
It does bud, just like I've shown on the previous videos. Just didn't want this being a repeat of the same thing again. They all run the same software 👍

Sorry to hear that bud, glad your refund was sorted out.

The main need for me is can OSandM be used with this??? If so nice game changer
How does it work with GPX routes? Like ones from OsMand+ that have Android Auto?
Interesting. I have the outcast
Can you select mph or kph?
Cheers.
Just purchased one. However, the in built WiFi does not show up on my network list ...any suggestions as to why?? TIA
Hmm, have you tried connecting via Bluetooth? As I'm sure that's how I usually connect and that kicks in android auto

If you can’t remove it from the bike it’s likely to get stolen
I agree, but it's a simple task to wire a plug into the power wire. Downside is we shouldn't have to and there goes your warranty.
