I had a feeling that this would be light and too much like New York Zoo, but I got it anyway for the nostalgia of making scale cutouts of furniture to test different arrangements of furniture without pushing everything around.
For once, I disagree with Zee on this one. This is a quick, light filler which is less about fitting polyomino pieces exactly into a space (a la Patchwork or Barenpark) but rather a set-collection optimisation puzzle. The theme works well, the scoring isn’t as clunky as Zee makes out, and for the price-point (£13 in the UK) it’s excellent value for money. More scoring cards would be nice though.
They should have just made the tiles what they collect and not the cards then score the tiles themselves. I also think that they could have made the tiles acrylic to show the decor pieces with see through background that can go in any room rather than the ugly background color and lastly the art is dissapointing. This was a perfect game that had too many misses for all the sims fans 😢 sadly passing on this one.
“If you look at the back of the toilet” is a sentence that I never thought I would hear in a game review
"You can't put the toilet in the middle of the room because.. obviously." :D
I know... I made that mistake once with a ladder...
Zee rant! ❤

Gives me New York Zoo vibes.
thanks for the review! Sad it's not a home deco version of patchwork. saved me a purchase :)

Looks like fun to me. Would be keen to try it.
0:25 Yeah, there is a house in New Orleans
Tell us how you really feel Zee. 😅
11:50 “wet noodle of a game” ouch!
The art in this game is terrible. I thought the plant was a giant spider at first lol.
It was a spider plant, obviously!
