I mostly watch Inside of You or Talkville during my workout session at home. And when they started talking about "j***ing off" in the middle of my set, I almost dropped my dumbbells down. My goodness. From now on, I'm gonna avoid comedians when watching this during workouts.
Although, when Pete talked about how his wife telling him to let the body work on what the mind or emotion can't deal with, I suddenly burst into tears...because that's the reason why I went back to working out (after how many years) due to some form of depression I'm going through. When he said that, I think my mind just told me that it's really really tired for months already.

I tuned in to many episodes of "You Made It Weird" many years ago, and was absolutely THRILLED to see Pete Holmes on "Inside of You" today. In true Pete Form, so much ground covered in this one visit, and I loved every bit of it.
Green lights without other light (phone , tv, comp) can help with migraines and pain levels. I have severe migraines and I have to say it does help. I did a study with the University here with green light. It was so interesting.
I was laughing so much. It was great! Will have to tune into his podcast.
Lots of great guests and conversations. Pete's not afraid to get interesting. The back episodes are totally listenable, especially the live shows.

Also just wanna say: Rosie really is one of the best and most underrated interviewers/hosts on any podcast. No matter who the guest is, if I know them or not, it’s always a great talk and I always learn so much. This is another perfect example. Also a huge fan of Pete now. He’s f***ing hilarious!
"Feelings are like children" Yes! I talk to, and soothe my negative thoughts and feelings all the time, I find it really helps. Pete was and utter delight, I didn't know who he was, but right from the start he is a joyful, ping-pong ball of energy, and it kept me on my toes, one minute I'm laughing and next minute we are on the subject of mindfulness. What a wonderful, fun, interesting and eclectic episode. Thanks Rosey and Ryan, and thank you Pete! ❤
Pete is a stand up and has a long running podcast called "You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes" as well as an HBO show called "Crashing." The back log of the podcast is totally listenable and he has a lot of great guests and fascinating conversations. Pete is great.

I liked the show. There was a lot of deep insight. Clearly Pete has a good handle on his feelings and is willing to open up a lot about his career. It is great to hear him acknowledge that it is the bad things and the good things that make each and every one of us unique. Lol I like the breathing technique and oldie but a goodie! ❤❤❤
