I am so happy for another generation of Aggies and tsips to experience football again. It has been a such a part of some many generations of lives over the years, I can't wait! the rest of your list was pretty dang good too!
Sip entitlement and arrogance returns.
LSU in all 4 top tiers.....I sure hope they don't disappoint. As much as I don't want the season to close out, that TX/TAMU game is just exciting me. I can't wait to see that one.
It's good thing that they don't have to play Florida State this year 😂😂
I don't think FSU is gonna be as impressive this year, but yeah that is good, they did have their number the last 2 years. Then again a high school team would have scored on that defense we had...ugh
Coach Brian Kelly needs to be busting his behind right NOW! his problem has been that he's not putting in that hard training in the spring and summer to get these boys fundamentals RIGHT! Les Miles may have had some issues but getting a teams tackling and conditioning air tight was NOT one of those issues! Coach Kelly needa take a page out old coach MILES book !
I'd definitely agree. I never had any problem with miles except he didn't seem to prepare for Bama what so ever. Those boys always seemed ready to go at first kickoff though.
What do you think your record will be against those 4?
Half a lifetime ago for me, when years still began with a "1", Florida vs. Tennessee was THE biggest game on the SEC schedule. Several times it decided the national championship. No matter what else was going on in my life, I would always make sure I watched Florida vs. Tennessee. (My favorite was when a Peyton Manning-led Tennessee team went into the Swamp, led 30-14 late in the second quarter, and ended up losing 62-37.)
Too bad Florida is on the down and out. Sun Belt Billy is really doing a number on y'all 😂
Yeah, wish that game still meant that much. (Coming from a vol fan)
@@theace8502 It will again at some point.
@@dentonyoung4314 Hopefully. In my lifetime you guys have done nothing but consistently crush us 💀
Those were great years, definitely miss the ol ball coach, him and Fulmer were funny
In my opinion, Week 11 has one of the best weekends for college football
On Friday you have Cal @ Wake Forest & Iowa @ UCLA.
On Saturday you have:
Alabama @ LSU
Georgia @ Ole Miss
Oklahoma @ Missouri
Florida @ Texas
Washington @ Penn State
Oklahoma State @ TCU
BYU @ Utah
Florida State @ Notre Dame.
I think this is a top 3 or 4 lineup of games
Bro tried to sneak in Friday games don’t nobody care about those games
@@Dre384if you like college football you do. Shut up casual
@@ndn4203 nobody is watching those games like I said now get tf on son
@@Dre384 those game would have more care than USC @ Rutgers on 11 pm EST. Such a casual lmao
@@ninjadanny628 nobody cares to watch Iowa score 10 points bud just be quiet you know nobody is watching California lmaooo
I love all Saturdays during the college football season. And you never know what could end up being the best week -- heck, they're all good. For all we know, Week 11 could end up being the most impactful. Looking back on it when the regular season and conf title games are over, the biggest results could end up being LSU beating Alabama, Georgia edging Ole Miss, Florida taking down Texas, Purdue knocking off Ohio State, Syracuse remaining unbeaten by escaping Boston College with a last-second field goal, Miami remembering to take a knee to actually close out a win against Georgia Tech, Kansas surviving at home against Iowa State, Fresno State barely escaping Air Force en route to an unbeaten season and the G5 auto bid, Utah winning the Holy War against BYU and springboarding off that to running the table the rest of the way, and Notre Dame knocking off Florida State and virtually ensuring a seed in the 5-8 range and a home game to start the CFP with.
Or maybe the best one ends up being week 6 because 15 teams in the top 25 that week including eight of the top 10 get upset and it starts a round of chaos similar to what happened in 2007 for the rest of the year.
All i know is that I'll be there for all of it, from week zero all the way through to rivalry week (I'll be watching the Causeway Classic for sure!)
Yuppppp week 7 is gonna be awesome!
WEEK 11
The biggest week for me is week one so we can finally be rid of the football drought. GBO
Just thinking about college football is right around the corner is just freaking happiness and the slate of games we get this year with the conference expansions is icing on the cake
This season is gonna be unreal! Pumped to see it all unfold. I predict the greatest season of CFB ever
Any game that Georgia plays is the biggest game of the week. 16-0 cometh. Go Dawgs!
Hey Josh, with the playoff likely to continue to expand a bit and assuming the ACC semi-falls apart, what would you forsee being the good and the bad of this 16 team CFP scenario? What do you love and what do you not like?
1) P3 champs earn a top 8 seed/a home game (non of this bye malarky). P3 runners up are guaranteed in the 16 team field.
2) Next 1 (or 2) highest ranked conference champions guaranteed a spot in the field. Would love to spread the love and hope for smaller teams with 2.
3) 8 At-larges (11 if the P3 runners up thing was trashed, 12 if only 1 other conference champ guaranteed a field spot).
4) First round on campus, quarterfinals and semifinals in 6 big bowls (higher seed gets location choice), championship game rotates between those 6 or always have it at the Rose Bowl.
Also, 5) Have all D1 football break from NCAA and get a dang commissioner not connected to Big 10 or SEC. Yormark could be great.
A week with Bama v Georgia in a regular season game needs to be considered.
Those are big Saturdays in college football but it’s college football here folks every Saturday is a big Saturday.
Oregon - Ohio State -- definitely the biggest game that week
Sorry to tell you but OU Texas clears in every way. TV ratings will show it. 350,000 fans between the stadium and state fair
9/14 Memphis vs FSU will be a game to look for.
No
Don't care about most of those SEC/Big 10 games. Ohio St/Oregon yes, UT/OU yes, UT/A&M yes.
How did A&M get all these home games?
Probably throwing them a bone for giving them no voice about Texas coming in to the conference. The series used to be odd years in College Station, even years in Austin.
A&M has 4 away games and one neutral site game..same as Texas, LSU, and most SEC teams
@latekickjosh - Love your content, I am subscribed, and listen to every show. As a Texas fan, I just wanted to clear something up about Texas & Texas A&M ... and the "hate". We don't hate the Aggies ... we do enjoy watching them lose and love the fact that they have not won a major mens sport since before your "Mema" was a kid (or possibly even born).
From a Longhorn perspective, it will be a great thing to get the game back on our schedule. Many Texas families have both Longhorns and Aggies in them. Most offices have both fan bases. However, to be clear, our "hate" for them is more like you would have for your little brother (that thinks he is the same as you, but clearly is not).
Many teams hate the Longhorns, but the only team we truly hate is OU ...
In Texas:
- if you have the grades --> Horns Up
- if you can't get your grades up --> Get your guns up or potentially learn to be a male cheer leader
- if you can't spell grades --> Start by learning to rhyme things, like with BOOMER
You’re a narcissist
Mostly true.
Definately the part about the sort of competition you have with relatives. 👍
Arrogant post…..and this folks is why so many can’t stand arrogant tu fans. Your post was ok until you made the comment about A&M thinking they’re as good as tu.
Could LSU vs USC be a shoot out? Week 1 we are gonna see which team really honed in on their defense on the off season. I believe LSU will have their defense more figured out week 1 than USC
RRSO🤘🏼🤘🏼
A&M on 3/4 of these. lol here come the “wHat hAs a&M DonE” comments.
It's fair to ask
What is the worst week of games this year? The realignment storyline throughout the nation will make almost every week exciting. Can't wait.
So, after A&M loses Week 1, can we just take them off of the rest of the "best weeks" list
Josh, I know you HATE the "P word". And yeah I get all the reasons. However if a responsible amount like $10 a week buys more FUN anywhere in America I'd like to know what that is. So maybe for that reason, and that some can't play much money anyway, maybe it would be fun to toss a few in and declare them a side piece not associated with the Ramen Noodle Express.
if they die they die
I’m a Nebraska fan but let me tell you right now that we’re going to get smoked by OSU
I don't see Nebraska vs Ohio State as a notable match-up, unless Nebraska is somehow undefeated or has one loss. OSU is on a 7 win streak, although last year they did win by "just nine."
The sadistic side of me is wanting to see OU beat all their SEC opponents (maybe not Ole Miss) and then lose in their first playoff game. 😆
It’s week 4 Georgia at Bama. If GA wins then they firmly snatch things out of Alabama hands and Bama is now the underdog (which I don’t think anyone wants). If Bama wins, then GA is in a weird spot and the balance of power in College Football is about 5-6 way tie between Bama, GA, Ohio St, Oregon, and Texas (No Michigan you aren’t starting a dynasty sorry bout it). So it would be between 5-6 teams leaning in bamas favor slightly cause they would’ve just beaten GA and proven that GA has a Bama problem not a Saban problem and it’ll be arguably the most suspenseful and exciting football season ever cause those 5-6 teams could easily cannabilize themselves and someone else could come out of nowhere and take the reigns.
Until osu proves they’re better than Michigan this just sounds funny. Michigans trench domination isn’t slowing down in the foreseeable future. Agree on the other teams tho.
FL helping to build the resumes of 2 of these weeks doesn’t move the needle much. Out of region fans won’t care and FL hasn’t held up their end of the bargain with good play of late. And this year doesn’t seem to be looking good for them either.
I still believe Texas vs Oklahoma is a bigger match up than Texas vs A&M
Good. Gooooood 😂
