Just FYI, the Wrangler outfit has a Lifetime warranty on the rod only. The Crosswater reel has a one year warranty.

I thought Redington had a lifetime warranty on their rods and reels?
It would be helpful if you gave some comparisons to similar priced combos from competitors. Comparative reviews are the most useful type of product reviews.

Lifetime on rod, yes. Once you step up to the field kit series and up, it's lifetime on rod + reel

Off their website it says lifetime on the rod 1 year in the reel .

My question is: If you like fast action rods, why didn't you get a fast action rod out of the WRANGLER-Line? They have an 8wt you know that?
