@@Jonjs99 There was actualy waitinglists for the 9000 after launch. And remember that The Scandinavian economy had a dip during the 9000 life time. 500.000 9000 built isnt that bad for a car in this segment. But ofcourse, if it was the dobbel, it wouldnt hurt. BTW, did any good car sell in droves? 9000 is just an AMAZING car!
3:21 That's really BS, what these "Italians" state... 😂 As we all know, the 9k has a rigid rear axle - in contrast to its Italian siblings, so it can't have any great road-holding characteristics, by definition. 🤣
SAAB 9000 actually drives way better than it's italian siblings. I have to admit that Lancia is slightly more comfortable on bumpy roads, however, it's suspension just feels way too soft. Same with the Fiat Croma. On the other hand, SAAB is both comfortable and sporty. It's actually quite similar to the Alfa Romeo 164 when it comes to handling and ride comfort.
a solid rear axle doesnt by definition mean sluggish handling, the rear axles upper/lower trailing links means it can feather the bumps somewhat similar to an independent setup, it has a neat suspension geometry which means a slight toe out to aid hard cornering.
As a 9000 owner, this ad has finally shown me why such a good car was a sales dud.
If it was so good why no one buyed it?

Wow. det hade ju varit galet spännande att få se den eller låna den så den kunde digitaliseras.

I think that it would be a successful ad if all narrations were removed, just showing those footages of the cars without a word would be much better.
Brilliant marknadsföring!
It's enogh to make a grown man cry :')
Ah Så bra CD
SAAB SAAB SAAB 💪

The compressor is only active when needed. The computer handles the rest.

Saab är king
SAAB är coola!
Verkligen. Fantastiska bilar ❤️
those stanky midis.
The 9000 CD was a well designed car, the 9000 CC was not.
