We're continuing our 60 day RV boondocking challenge this week in Moab, Utah, living off grid on public land. Sometimes, we get stuck in the routine of RV living full time, so we decided to switch it up and get a little crazy with a side by side (UTV) rental! Moab is known for off roading, so join us as we hit some famous trails... including the infamous Hell's Revenge!

*Who are we?*
We’re Victoria & Craig! In 2021, we decided that we needed to make life a little more exciting, so we bought a used fifth wheel and completely renovated it. Then, we sold our house in Tallahassee, Florida and hit the road full time in our RV! We’ve traveled all around the United States (and Baja Mexico!) and fell in love with boondocking in our RV at the most beautiful places. In 2023, we upgraded to a brand new Brinkley RV Model Z 3100. You’ll always find us on some kind of outdoor adventure, whether it’s hiking the Grand Canyon, rock climbing in Yosemite or surfing the shores of Baja Mexico. Subscribe to our channel (bit.ly/3ssOjGT) to follow along on our full time RV living adventures!
Sandals and hatchets are a great combination for an ER visit. Lol
Lol I won’t disagree with you 😆
I'm a recent subscriber to your channel, but you really gained me as a loyal follower with this video! Your willingness to turn the camera around and video the scenery you're going through rather than the constant commentary that most other UA-camr's want to present is refreshing! The contrast between the red rock formations and the green trees was spectacular!
This comment really means a lot to us! We really are trying to “push the envelope” a bit in the RV world with some of our videos and style, but hope that we will continue to find more people like you who enjoy it! Thanks for subscribing!
@@wildrvlife To help you grow your channel, may I make a suggestion as far as collaborations go. From what I have seen from other channels, the quickest way to gain subscribers is to joint forces with other UA-camr's and make a video together. If y'all are still in the Moab area, you might give Rory Irish with Moab Motor Sports a call. He's a super nice guy that videos a lot of off road recovery work in the Moab area. Rory is also friends with a dozen other UA-camrs around Utah that he might be willing to introduce you to. Please keep the videos coming! I think you two get it with what people want to see!
Love all your videos and adventures.
Where did you buy your chairs? They look very comfortable!!❤❤
My husband and I bought a Z3100 Brinkley today because of your video reviews. Thank you so much to show how great a product it is.
That's awesome! I know you will enjoy it.
I’m so glad I found your channel when searching for folks that had a Brinkley. You two are so much fun, and a joy to watch! I started watching your channel from the beginning, I reeled my husband in as well and we look forward to every episode. We are hoping to purchase a Brinkley and truck next year, In the meantime we live vicariously coming along for the ride on your WildRV journey. If you are ever in the Portland, OR perhaps you might have a meet up? I thought I would share a few must see less known areas in Oregon. 1. In Northeast oregon, town of Joseph and area, The Wallowa mountains have a tramway and you can hike up as well I think you can see 5 states from the top.
2. In central Oregon, Look up Smith Rock, has trails and Rock climbing.
3. The steens mountain in Southeastern Oregon. There are Wild Horses, and amazing scenery. There are so many more, but this is a good starting point. I hope our paths will cross someday, and May the Lord continue to bless your amazing WildRV journey! I (we) look forward to seeing what comes next for you, and someday soon for us! 💖
I’m so happy to see y’all still making worship a big part of your travels. Thanks!🙏
Yes! It’s very important!
🙏 Amen
When we boondock, which is 99.9999% of the time, my favorite tools for starting a campfire is a solo cup full of your cheapest unleaded fuel and a couple wooden matches. Stand back and let the matches fly! No risk of loosing any limbs/appendages doing it that way.....
moab and arches are such beautiful places
It has become one of our favorite places. Very nice area!
You are so awesome awesome guys
The out back, down under, the bush? Australia?
Thise can-ams can take a beating, you should have launched off that first obstacle 😂
You guys are looking good, the healthy eating appears to be paying off! Great vids!
I’m not rv full time but doing some travel adventures and home adventures. Love watching you guys and getting great hints on where to go. I’ll be doing a 2week trip out west and headed to Moab. Now I know where to hike. You’re also helping me to just go and boondock
Ya'll are rocking the 60 day boondocking challenge! -J
Thankssss! I hope we keep having good boondocking luck through Alaska!
Excellent video
Your content and editing just keeps getting better and better! Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you so much!!
Been following you guys for awhile, love this video, lived in Moab for 8 years, love the footage of Kane creek caverns, sand flats… willow springs is sick, but just north of willow is dalton wells, 1/2 mile north, there is free camping that is just as scenic.
I love your OSHA safety sandals while chopping your wood. At least get a 4-5 lb. shorty sledge hammer to hit the back of the ax with .
Was there in Moab too over Easter with our Granddaughters did the jeering and zip lines, plan on going back next year.
We stayed in Utah last year. Did Zion and Bryce. So amazing. Moab is on our list for sure. Long way from Canada tho.
I found you guys from watching Open Roading😊 and it's super cool you are in Moab the same time the Gone Jeepin Easter event was going on, as I follow Roaming Reckless.....small world 😅 thank you for sharing your travels
Always love your content
Loving joining you on your adventures! Can’t wait to see what’s next.
So glad you enjoyed your trip to Utah. We love living so close to the Big Five parks in Utah. Always look forward to your videos!!! Keep them coming 🏕️😎
It's really such an amazing area to live in! so much to do here. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! Love all the fun you two are having!
thank you so much!!
What a great adventure. Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you so much for watching!! We are happy you enjoyed it!
Beautiful video and the ATV runs look like so much fun!
It was amazing! We really enjoyed it. Thank you for watching!
What a great video. I’ll be there in a couple weeks and look forward to it even more now!
Thank you so much! You will have a blast out there.
My husband and I went to Moab in 2021 (full-timeRVing then). We rented a side x side for his 66th birthday. We didn't do Hell's Revenge. We ran out of time because we were chasing petroglyph. Lile you, it was one of the most amazing things we've done in our camping travels.
I definitely want to go back. Now, more so after seeing your video and remembering just how much fun it was.
We also went white water rafting on the Colorado River.
We both really love your videos.
That was epic! Beautiful scenery. ❤
It has become one of our favorite areas!!
Love this! It's so great that you can have these adventures while you are young!
we are really enjoying them, thank you for coming along!
Awesome videography. Drone shots were great. Really good production value. Well done.
Thank you so much!! We’re trying to utilize the drone more and really show off these beautiful places we’re visiting
Beautiful scenery! Great video! Loved the side by side trip.
Thank you so much for coming along with us!
Living the dream. My husband would love this. Be safe out there.
We will! thanks for watching!!
SPIFFY CRAIG. LOVE YOU GUYS❤ ANNAMAY
I love that you guys take us along for more than just stuff around the campground and working on the rv. I really enjoy when you show us the areas you visit and your activities there, like rock climbing in Wyoming and off reading in Utah. Thanks for another great video.
So glad to hear that you enjoy that, because it really is a lot more fun getting to show you all the cool places we visit! thanks for watching!
That grill comment is now a channel staple! Cool to see that flat top thing for the Webber though! Fun first stop for the crazy road, looks like a really fun ride! You’ve added another must do for my bucket list with those views! Those wind caves are so unique, kinda weird how people feel the “need” to write on the walls in there. So crazy that a dog almost bit you, glad it only got your pants. Very cool arch!
Haha I keep telling Craig I’m going to make him a tshirt that says “grill daddy” 🤣🤣 Definitely have to add Moab to your list, I can’t believe we haven’t already been here, it was so much fun.
And I know 😞 I hate when I see people have graffitied on natural places like that
@@wildrvlife that is a great merch idea! Make it happen in time for Father’s Day (using something simple like teespring) and you’ll have folks laughing and cringing all over North America!
YEAH, chop that wood in those flip flops!! You knew these comments were coming, love your channel!
Love this... Good stuff. We knew you would have so much fun.
Thank you! It was SO much fun!
I so much enjoy your channel. Your enthusiasm makes me smile. So glad you were able to some rock climbing with the ATV
so glad you enjoy it! Thank you for coming along with us!
I was in Moab last fall and did that arch hike. I must have timed it right. Everyone passed me going back and I had the beach at the arch to myself. Loved that place.
Enjoyed your video Thanks for sharing your travels
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for watching!!
That was a scrumptious looking chicken and pasta 😋 what Fun off roading and the beautiful scenery!!
Stay safe 🥰
Awesome video, thanks for sharing!
thank you for watching!!
Very good video! We love you guys! Keep bringing the great footage!
thank you so much for watching!!
Thanks! Grab yourself a Dunkin Coffee on us. After that ride you all deserve it!!!
Thanks so much guys!!! You know Craig can’t turn down a Dunkin 😆
Neither can Veronica!!!
Yeah, we want to do that too and thanks for the additional bucket list item.
Well, I have bad back and I am scared of heights too so can I do it?? 😆
Now that was some epic adventures! I knew it would involve a SXS! Glad you had such a great time!
we had sooo much fun! So glad we decided to do it!
love watching your videos. subscribed already...
Hey Guys!! We really enjoyed your adventure, that was so much fun. We will definitely be doing that when we get to Moab. Can't wait to get there. We are leaving Florida in a week and heading to Oregon no highway driving, Moab is one of our stops on our way west. Victoria did great driving the side by side!! Thnx for sharing, stay safe. Freddy and Bryan
Thank you so much for watching! And sure you will enjoy the area.
Beautiful video! I grew up in northern Utah and I’ve been south to Arches, Lake Powell, etc., but I’ve never been to Moab. Gorgeous views!
Beautiful areas! But you definitely should try to make it to the moab area. It's awesome places.
Spectacular scenery!!
We couldn’t believe how pretty it was out there!
Awesome content!!!!!
Thank you so much!!
Good picture
It’s so gorgeous there.
It has become one of our favorite areas!
That machine is a beast. Looked great. Safe travels.
it was so much fun, thank you!!
This was cool!! But yes I have a respect for heights, so I would just stay on the low lands!! But very cool!! Thank you for taking us along!!
Haha I can understand that! Sometimes I (Victoria) just have to not look over the edge 😂 I’m just glad Craig drives because I couldn’t have done it in some of those spots lol. And thank you for coming along with us!!
You guy’s are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME !!!!!
Thank you so much! This means a lot to us with all the work we put into the videos.
@@wildrvlifeYou guys deserve NOTHING BUT THE BEST !!!!!
Beautiful area.
That looks like a lot of fun!
We enjoyed it so much. Thank you for watching!!
We can't wait to get out to Utah in August (I know, hot) in our Z3100 with trips to Capital Reef, Kodachrome, Bryce, Zion, and Kanab. See everyone on the road and happy travels to all.
That's going to be amazing, and yes, hot, lol.
Glad you guys had a good time in Moab! I’d highly recommend a canyoneering adventure. The last one my wife and I did actually ended with a rappel down in between the wall and the Morning Glory Bridge. Moab is an unbelievable place!!
Oh how cool!! I bet it was a tour group that was saw canyoneering down there. We talked a lot about doing one, especially with our rock climbing experience, it would be so much fun!
WOW! I so wish I were out there with you kids. Awesome, I pray I'm able to get out there RVing by the turn of next year. Keep these great videos coming please. ❤ U guys.
✌️😁
it'll be here before you know it! Hope to see you on the road! thanks for watching 😄
We just got home from Moab a few hours ago. I'm so glad you decided to Hells Revenge and rented a UTV. I'm fortunate that I live only a few hours away in Utah and Moab is one of my family's favorite weekend play ground. The weather finally warmed up, so we rafted / kayaked the Colorado river near where you did your hike. I hope your next video is on the river....it's a blast. Enjoy Utah and be safe.
Oh wow that sounds like a blast!! That drive along the river is so gorgeous. This is such a great area to live around. There is so much to do and see…we are really starting to love Utah overall, it might end up being our favorite state so far!
We were in the area too, just before Easter. The jeeps were plentiful! We cruised on thru after checking out Arches National Park.
We must have just missed each other! And there were soo many jeeps.
Great video guys. I would have loved to have been there in another ATV with you. 🙂 Happy Easter 🙂
Happy Easter!! It was such an amazing time. You guys would have loved it.
That’s beautiful!!
It is SUCH a gorgeous area! So many amazing places to explore
We live moab. We juat got a new cales b. I just dwciaed after watching your video that we are haading out weay (and heading to moab) hoing out wrat with NO plans.
We just went to Moab today. Have plans to check it all out. I want to rent a UTV like that. I hope we have as much fun as the two of you.
Moab is such an awesome place, I'm sure you will enjoy it!
That was an awesome video, great views
Thank you so much and it really was so gorgeous out there!
I think you mentioned on Instagram yesterday that the views on this video were low, however it just showed up in my UA-cam feed this morning. It was a great video, and one of your best.
Kent
thank you so much!! I am glad that you enjoyed it because we really did have a lot of fun making it!
Time to trade in the Brinkley and get a 6-wheel toy-hauler 5th-wheel to haul your new side-by-side😎
haha we would have to trade in our truck too to be able to haul it! 😆
We’ve been to Moab many times but have never done what you just did. Thanks for showing us a part of Moab we’ve never seen (and never will 😅)
Haha thank you for coming along!! We really enjoyed the area and will have to go back
Love your new hair dew😊
Another good one
Thank you so much for watching!
We were there just before EJS. We would have taken yall on the hard jeep trails. We make it out there every few years.
Oh man, that would have been fun! We will definitely have to come back again one day because we really enjoyed it!
Happy belated Easter!
Thank you! Hope yours was wonderful!
I love Moab Utah. ❤❤. It is so beautiful. That looked like it was so fun in the car. Stay safe out there. Can't wait til next week. Nice hair cut Craig. Awesome for you Victoria. You looked so good behind the wheel. That is so cool. ❤❤❤ Mary 16:43
Despite the fact that I normally don’t like to be in the drivers seat, I have to admit that I had a lot of fun! It is so cool out in Moab, thanks for watching!!
Ohhh my gosh! You can keep the Hells revenge trail!!! DANG! That’s crazy!
It was such a fun trail but also just as scary as it was fun!
We are in MOAB!!! blm 144 tonight! Heading to salt lake tomorrow! We are dragging our jeep, but typically have our Razr Side by side!
That's awesome!! I think this area is easy enough to have fun whether it's in a jeep or Atv.
We use an axe & a splitter (a heavy metal wedge) when camping. The hatchet is brought to create kindling. Thanks for giving us campsite alternatives..
a splitter would definitely come in handy sometimes. and thank you for coming along for the adventures!
Very nice video
Enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks for watching!
Love your channel 👍🇺🇲
Much appreciated!!
The Outback, the Down Under, the BUSH😃👍🇺🇲
😄
You guys were all smiles on that can-am. Possible future purchase? Keep up the good work on the videos. One of my favorite content creators!
thank you so much! And we have definitely talked about how it would be nice to have one, but honestly by the time we upgraded our RV and truck and got a SXS... we might as well just rent one a couple times a year and it would probably be cheaper 😆
What mast and clamps are you using for your starlink dish on the Brinkley? I don't need the Starlink mount just the mast and clamps to the ladder.
How cool😎👍🏻
Jenga fire!
That sounds like an exciting party game, lol.
Lookin' good spicy Craig!
Stop. I'm blushing, lol! Thank you for watching. Hope you guys have an awesome week.
Nice spot. Last year we stayed a little further north on BLM 144. One of the few remaining free spots near Moab.
I had seen that one as an option! There really aren’t many free spots left now but it’s still such a great area to visit
Love your content ! We’re going full time this summer and was wondering 2 things…..what length power cord do you guys think is adequate? What is your total solar wattage and battery amp hours? Thank you and keep up the great content!
Haircut looks great Craig!
Thank you!!
Fun, fun, fun😁
Thank you for watching! 😄
New do…looks aerodynamic
Yooo…. That was sick!!!! That back up scene with Victoria guiding you. Wow!!!!
Do we see G Series in 16ft garage Brinkley in your future??? 😆
That was awesome!!! Veronica is cracking up at Victoria driving saying that would have been her too. 😂
If we could somehow still have all our living space and a garage and somehow magically be under 40ft…we sure would be considering it!! 🤣
And hahaha, I had some fun behind the wheel and DIDN’T even wreck us 😆😂
Lookin spiffy!
Thank you so much!!
Been watching your videos for some time and we love the bike rack you use for your Ebikes. We were wondering if you could tell us what bike rack you use and how much weight it carries. We recently purchased our electric bikes and need a good way to haul them. Thanks!
The drive was, YIKES!
It was nerve wracking for sure!
Love all your videos and now we have Moab on our list! Can you provide a link to your comfy looking camp chairs?
Thank you so much! We picked ours up at Camping World, but these are them! amzn.to/3UgzpRz
They are super comfy, but will hold water from rain longer than the less fluffy ones lol
Happy Easter 🙏🙏🙏
Hope yours was wonderful!
@@wildrvlife it was, thank you🙏👍🇺🇲
Nice hair cut!
You need to hike Wild Horse Slot Canyon near Moab.
Always be like me little kid has his toy have played with it but I'm the same way look like he's having fun have a good day
Nice video, we have been there 2 times. Nice shoes. 👞
I can’t believe this was our first time here. Will definitely have to be back, we had a blast!
Thank you for taking us on your adventures! Be safe out there. How expensive was the ATV rental?
Thanks for coming along! Ours was about $700 for 24 hours. Depending on where you rent one, the type you get and if you do a “day” (8-5) or a 24 hour rental…from our research it looked like it runs from about $500 - $900.
@@wildrvlife thanks for the video and reply.
