I also do it when I feel the need to sin or need to center my self through the day. I have a ten bead prayer rope or rosary? I don’t know what it would be called. But now even just holding it I know it may sound weird but it feels almost like a weapon. The priest said sometimes bad things creep into our thought and it’s true. I will ask you one question -
“What came first , the Bible or the Church”?
then we can take it from there ....

As a protestant who came back to Christ through unconventional channels (pretty much anyone on UA-cam who would dig past the superficial stuff), I find videos like this to be extremely helpful
This works. Much love to Father Spyridon and everyone! God is good!!❤❤
God bless you. The videos are saving my life. Praise be to God.
Helpful as always, thank you father ❤🙏
Roman Catholic here. I watched a documentary on Mount Athos, and ever since have attempted to pray the Jesus Prayer, a certain thanksgiving prayer, and a prayer I just happen to say in mental prayer. Although it’s almost automatic at this point, it sanctifies my work. Thank you, good Father.
I believe that “pray without ceasing” is a condition of our heart, the direction in which the mirror of our heart is turned.
“Whoso reciteth, in the privacy of his chamber, the verses revealed by God, the scattering angels of the Almighty shall scatter abroad the fragrance of the words uttered by his mouth, and shall cause the heart of every righteous man to throb.” Baha’u’llah
I'm not Catholic at all but this man... speaks from a place of truth. Thank you sir.
Thank you for this message today I truly found it so helpful to pray more.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me and save me a sinner
Thank you, father.
