Just bought this. This is very fresh for a Leather oud scent. I went back and forth between this and ombre nomad. This is far more versatile. The ombré nomad is definitely cold weather and formal. I think this could be dressed down. It’s like an aqua di gio profumo category.
For the quality of the juice, the complexity and the scent DNA .. this has one of the best price/quality ratios on the market.
Nouveau Monde smells like burning debris.

I sprayed it-- I hated it, but then I started to like the smell like 20 seconds later...I literally became confused. I started spraying it everywhere. I absolutely love it now.

In my opinion more leathery than Ombre Nomade. Ombre Nomade is more about the oud. Nouveau Monde is less strong and agressive compared to Ombre Nomade and I think Ombre Nomade is stronger and Nouveau Monde is sweeter.
Anyone over here who received compliments wearing Ombre Nomade, Nouveau Monde, Nuit de Feu or Les Sables Roses?
I got this one - long time ago I sprayed a business card in my wallet with this fragrance and after weeks I was still smelling it from my wallet - I really liked it so I went and bought it - it’s very intense and masculine - great projection and long lasting - one of my favorites

I got this perfume and it's legendary, I feel it's a waste if I wear it on in a casual occasion, it's so beautiful and complement getter and lasts long, and so masculine, it never disappoints me
Nouveau Monde!!! OMG! Yesss!!! I got my nose on this at the boutique in Vegas they gave me a sample and I was there the next day purchasing a full bottle!!

I had my first purchase in my life of a LV handbag, while I had champagne at the store to celebrate my purchase I was testing all the fragrances. Funny enough, I disliked all women's fragrances and this one was the only one that made an impression straight away. Leather leather and leather - that's all I get. And leather wasn't even in the notes list, I'm glad I watched your video to understand that saffron may play a role in this. On my skin it is warm leather. I wear it when I wear leather trousers or my LV handbag - I feel a million dollar

A tester of this brought me into the Louis Vuitton universe, and so I ended up getting the bottle. I absolutely love it and get many compliments. My second purchase was 'Imagination' and it's been disappointing in comparison...I just can't really smell it on myself
My husband gave it to me, badly advised by the seller, thinking it was for women... I put it on and it suits me very well... It was only by looking for the description that I found out it was for men 😅.
On me it smells very sweet. Glad to see I'm not the only woman wearing it.
Yep, I have Nouveau Monde in 200mL bottle. Though it is a bold and mildly daring scent I don't find it to be super animalic. Definitely worth trying before buying. I picked up the whole mens line of 8 plus and Ombre Nomade and Les sables roses. The LV lineup are standouts and I like that they are exclusive to LV only so I dont have to worry about ever finding them at discounters after I paid retail. This is the only line I have ever paid full retail on.
What do you think, when you compare Ombre Nomade, with Nouveau Monde?
@@McLOVIN_456 ombre nomade smell is very common to us in the Middle East, so I do not find it special and I smell it in many of our eastern perfumes, but the smell and feeling of nouveau monde is very rare and special and unique because the smell does not exist in the Middle East that's why I prefer it .. they give the samples for free so I suggest u try them both

Spot on review Sebastian! Like absolutely spot on! I agree with everything you’ve said here. And I also agree with the LV DNA! I loveeeee this fragrance (I have a sample from my recent purchase) and I’m tossing up whether I buy it for myself (very selfishly) or for my man who told me recently he wants a good Oud fragrance (and he bought me Ombré Nomade for Valentine’s Day Lol)! 🤔 I shouldn’t be selfish should I? .... haha but I love this one so much!! I love how animalic this is but it’s animalic yet very wearable for me. I love Leather Oud as well but the extreme animalic dry down stopped me buying it. (Regret it now though as I would love that in my collection now I’m getting more used to animalic notes)... 💛💛

Yeah, he has pretty good insight. I have purchased about 10 fragrances because of his insight.

My number 1 LV fragrance, have been wearing it since it came out. I actually layer it with the women’s Contre Moi. The addition of the vanilla and cocoa softens the intensity.

Got L’immensite coming and already own Nuit De Feu. LV has some really nice fragrances. Can’t wait for the samples too come with L’immensite. If you haven’t already Sebastian I was wondering your thoughts on Byredos Mixed Emotions? I got a sample with a recent order and I do quite like it. It was a bit abrasive with my first initial smell but as it calms it really smooths out and everything falls in line. I think it’s a fascinating fragrance, just wondering what you think? Great vids as always!

Hi, I saw you have a lot of videos of FM Promise. I was wondering fi you could answer this for me: Does the green apple top note stick around and do you go asnomic to it? Or does it settle to that ambery smell quickly. I received it as a gift and wanted to know

@rightglory BG No I'm just worried that it isn't the scent I thought it was going ot be. I think it's because I was spraying on my hand where the skin could have been more dry. When I sprayed the sample on my neck with a scarf on the scent lasted a while and I can still smell it on there.
I get a very fruity note on my skin, very long lasting and great sillage x

it's funny how the sensations can change between poeple because what I smell at the first side with this perfume is the incense with oud. I can't smell the freshness in this fragrance.

Yeah I see almost no difference.. some people say they're night and day but they smell VERY similar to me.
They smell similar but ombré nomad is sweeter, this one is more pungent.
Good fragrance but almost have a "detol" like scent.
