Wow! 🇨🇦Linda

Dear sir ,
I really understand what you explain in the video lesson it is so good 👍 👌 and benefit but the problem is that I always get confused 😕 in tenses when they come mix together 🤔 I should be grateful if you could help me 🙏how to deal with this matter ❤
I see... Many students have the same problem. The important thing is to work on one tense at a time and get lots of practice. For example, practice talking about your childhood memories and make sure you use the past tense in all of your sentences. For the present perfect, role-play a job interview and talk about your work experience. Also try to remember the 8 signal words I mention in the video. Those usually require the present perfect.
I hope it helps!

Hello,
What does this word mean" Kimchi"?
I have never heard this word.
Please teacher ,juste a little question:
Why do you choose(( English speaking "360"))?
360: number of days in the year.but there is 365 days!!!
Or: 360 : degree" circle"
Thanks a lot.🙏🙏
Hello! Kimchi is Korean spicy pickled Napa cabbage. You should try it!
As for your 2nd question, I picked English Speaking 360 because there are 360 degrees in a full circle, meaning that my channel includes everything about English speaking skills.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for the clarification🙏🙏
Have a nice weekend

Thanks but who is Bia?
What's the difference between I went to the US or I have gone to the US
"I went to the US" refers to a past action that has been completed. It indicates that you traveled to the US at some point in the past and returned.
"I've gone to the US" also indicates a past action, but with the addition of "have," it implies a connection to the present. It suggests that you traveled to the US at some unspecified time in the past, and the implication is that you're still there or that the action has some relevance to the present moment.
Informative video!!!
I have one question.
Ex--I have seen this movie in the morning. ( is it a past/present sentence?)
Hope you answer my doubt and make it clear.!!!
Your Admirer!!!
Hello dear admirer 🤩
Actually, you cannot say "I have seen this movie in the morning." Because a time expression is included in your sentence, you have to use the simple past tense. "I saw this movie in the morning." If you want to use the present perfect, you can say "I have seen this movie before." In that case the focus is on the experience and not on when it happened.
Does that make sense?
Thanks for your response. I have a doubt.
Ex--- I have lived in Japan for 3 years.
In this sentence past time has been mentioned. So why can't we use simple past in this sentence.
@@deed2862 I think you can use simple past in this sentence. 'I lived in Japan for 3 years.' that implies 'I don't live in Japan at the present time.' On the other hand, If you say, 'I have lived in Japan for 3 years.' it means 'Right now I have an experience of living in Japan for 3 years.' or 'I lived in Japan for 3 years and still continue to live in Japan right now.' The difference is that simple past tense focuses on the past event and present perfect focuses on the present result of that event. So same event, different angles of view.
Excellent reply! I couldn't have explained it better myself. Thanks!
Hello! Someone wrote a perfect explanation just above this message. Check it out and let me know if you have more questions.
Have you ever seen the rain?.)
CCR! What a classic! 🤩
Even you new my face expiration
Lol! I'm good at guessing facial expressions. 😅
Can I say "I already tried dim sum last month"without "have"?
I guess you could say that but... the word "already" is useless since the verb is at the past tense. "I tried dim sum last month" sounds more natural.
Hello sir if u become my teacher I could learn English in just 1 and half years
Hahaha! Probably! You know it's possible to become very fluent in a short period of time. You just have to use English in your daily life as much as possible. You can do it!🤩
@@englishspeaking360 To be honest, I live in the USA and all my friends can't speak English I'm the one who can speak English 😔. U know sir I have learned lots of things from u. The way you teach us it's too understandable. It's been 1 year since I'm learning English.
Wow! Keep up the good work. I'm glad to help you get even better than you already are. 🤩
sorry but how if i say “ she has visited japan” ?
Yes, you can say that.👍
I have done post graduation...
Is that correct..
Congratulations on completing your post-graduation! Saying "I have completed my post-graduation" or "I have a post-graduate degree" would be more grammatically correct. As for what's better, it depends on the context. If you're discussing your education in a formal setting, saying "I have a post-graduate degree" might be more appropriate. However, in casual conversation, either phrase works fine.
The past simple has a result as well 😵
Hmmm... you think so? Do you have any examples?
The simple past typically describes actions or events that occurred at a specific point in the past without emphasizing their relevance to the present. In contrast, the present perfect often indicates a connection between a past action or event and the present moment, suggesting a result, consequence, or relevance to the current situation. So, while the simple past can sometimes imply a result in the present, it doesn't do so as explicitly or consistently as the present perfect tense.
ok
Hello, Do you prefer kimchi or dim sum??? Hihihi:o))
I think you live in Japan, but I don't know what city you were born in Canada? Have a nice day! Am I a good investigator? 🇨🇦Linda
Kimchi and dim sum are both good... but I'm a fan of sushi too!🍣

1)I went to the mall today.
2)I have gone to the mall today.
Is there any difference in these two sentences.
Yes, there is a difference between the two sentences:
"I went to the mall today."
This sentence is in the simple past tense. It indicates that the action of going to the mall occurred at a specific point in the past, which is today. However, there is no connection to the present moment.
"I have gone to the mall today."
This sentence is in the present perfect tense. It indicates that the action of going to the mall has some relevance to the present moment. It implies that the action was completed recently, and there might be some connection to the current situation or conversation.
I hope this helps!
Thank you for your kind reply.
No worries. Glad I could answer your question. Have a great day!

Vietnam is such a wonderful country. I've been there 6 or 7 times and I discover something new each time! Vietnamese people are so kind to foreigners! 🇻🇳 🇨🇦
So confusing.
Yes, it is not an easy grammar point. Sorry I couldn't make it easy enough for you to understand. 😥
THE ENGLISH GRAMMAR IS SO TROUBLE
Yes, grammar is troublesome but keep in mind that the present perfect is pretty much the most difficult verb tense to master.
@@englishspeaking360 I TELL YOU THAT A LANGUAGE DOES NOT HAS THIS TROUBLE GRAMMAR. THE GRAMMAR IS SO EASY. THIS LANGUAGE IS CHINESE
FOR EXAMPLE
I EAT BANANAS TODAY=我今日食蕉
I ATE BANANAS YESTERDAY=我昨日食蕉
CHINESE IS NO TENSE AND NO SINGLE/PLURAL
ENGLISH GRAMMAR MAKES ME CRAZY
@@hfdennycheng9010 😂😂😂 relax . calm down 😂😂😂 I am not good in english, but always want to learn and improve it. No matter how hard it is 😅 No matter how trouble the grammar
Yes, it's true that some languages are easier than others. However, most languages do have their own challenging aspects for learners. I can speak Japanese fluently, but reading it is a nightmare. Chinese, the way you present it, looks easy... however you forgot to mention the different tones that can easily change the meaning of each word.
Languages are not easy and that's why we study them. It takes a truly superior intelligence and understanding to be able to master a foreign language and that's the beauty of it.
Keep up the good work.
