I dont speak a lick of Spanish but is amazing but, this live version is just beautiful and Dany’s vocals are out of this world and when her voice cracks during the long wail at the end, ugh, hits me every time.

Glad you enjoyed it. It is a worthwhile rabbit hole to jump into. Spanish is their native tongue, but they are fluent in English as well. They write most of their songs in English because they say it is easier to write rock lyrics in English than Spanish, but they do have two other songs in Spanish (Narcissista and Que Mas Quieres). Three sisters, born and raised in Mexico. Daniela (24, guitar), Paulina (22, drums), Alejandra (19, bass). They started playing classical piano, then their dad bought them the videogame Rock Band and that inspired Daniela and Paulina to learn their respective instruments. Later on Alejandra picked up the bass and the rest is history. They write mostly in english but have some songs in spanish too. They were only 17 years old (bass player), 20 (drummer), and 22 (singer guitar) or there abouts when they performed this concert! The eldest is only 24 now. They have been a band for just over 10 years now, Alejandra being only 9 years old when they started. They are all classically trained on piano, they can all sing - Paulina (drummer) sings lead on some songs, Alejandra (bass player) has sung lead on occasion, but prefers to stay as a backing vocalist. Alejandra and Daniella (guitar) also played saxophone in the past, but no longer do.

They’re from Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, but actually their music is mostly in English since they grew influenced by 70’s to 90’s rock their parents use to listen to (Martirio is one of the few exceptions). They’re a power trio, and also sisters, they grew playing together so, despite they’re very young (when this concert they were 17, 19 and 22), they have more than a decade playing, they started playing covers at they’d basement when 8, 10 and 13, and at the first year playing and uploading their videos to UA-cam, mostly for the rest of their family to see them, it turns out Kirk Hammett, from Metallica saw their cover to Enter Sandman and cheered up their video, so they became viral, and eventually decided to make it professionally with their own music and started with their first original EP just about one year that Enter Sandman cover, and haven’t stop, they now have an EP (well, 2 EPs, but actually the second one is a prerelease of their third album) and 4 albums, started opening for bands like The Killers, Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters and Muse, and actually Muse (actually their favorite band, one of their biggest influences) liked so much their band that invited them to go with them for opening another 6 shows from their European tour, and now they’ve right now finishing their third tour in Europe for the las two years, just a few days ago they had, one day to the other, two of their biggest shows, one at the Wacken Open Air Festival, for many the most important metal (they’re not really metal, but hard rock, but yes, they have some songs that could fit into metal), and the crowd loved them, but right at the next day they performed at the Pol’And Rock with a crowd even bigger (more than 50,000 people), with a way better stage with an incredible lights installation, two huge screens and better audio and they smashed it, they gave an amazing show (actually you can see it all here in UA-cam). And since the Enter Sandman cover was the reason they became viral, they were invited to do it again, a cover fir the Blacklist Album, the covers made by Banda invited by Metallica, and they reinvented the song in an amazing way. 👍🏽 David Draiman, the leader of Disturbed has said they’re the hope of rock, since they can make the genre to become strong again; Lzzy Hale from Halestorm has such admiration for them that she went up to the stage when Dany, the guitarist was about to make a guitar change when she gave her a gift: a guitar right on the stage and making reverences to her to express her admiration. When in Europe me cause of Muse, they invited them to have diner, and Matt Bellamy took leverage to get some information about what her preferences are about guitars, even her favorite color, so next time he gave her a custom made guitar with all of the things he learned she would like in it. They’re becoming a band that will go really far!
A classic arena rock anthem. I don't speak Spanish but it doesn't matter. It's her emotion. Rock and roll was in need of some band to come along and revitalize it and then who would have thought it would be three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. You do know they are sisters, right? Well, sure, by now someone has told you. BTW, wait till you hear thee drummer sing! I suggest the song named 23. Their songs are all in the 3-4 minute range of length. A radio airplay length. The benefit to the fans is that they get to hear 16 songs in a concert instead of just 8 or 10.

You can even find early videos of them, very young, playing in piano recitals on their UA-cam channel. Live is where they are at a different level. However, just because, watch the official music video for Martirio. Every song they’ve composed is amazing.
The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as The Warning”. It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto UA-cam. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019. In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old). They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world. The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023. Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023 Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine. Oh, you have gone and done it now. You just reacted to my favorite rock band alive and performing today. These three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico (Dany, Pau and Ale) are young yet have over a decade of experience. Talented and humble they are like a breath of fresh air in the world of rock. Your reaction is pretty much like everyone else when they get their first full dose of these three. They’re amazingly talented, but also highly disciplined; they’ve been playing together as a band for 11 years, and for 10 of those they’ve been focused on making this band their joint career. Dany (the oldest and the guitarist) has focused the most on her voice, and is the lead vocalist on most of their songs, but Pau (the middle sister on drums) sings on about 20%, and she’s also a big part of the songwriting. I think Pau’s also the biggest classical music fan of the three; in one of their BTS videos, she identifies which movement of which section of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” a street musician is playing faster than I could, and she’s said that one of her all-time favorite pieces of music is the “Pas de Deux” from “The Nutcracker.” The youngest sister, Ale on bass, sings the least but is capable of it (she can fill in if Dany needs to rest her voice) and she’s also the timekeeper of the band; her sisters call her the “human metronome,” and I suspect one of the reasons The Warning tends to write bass-heavy songs is to allow Dany and Pau to use her to ground themselves.

I don’t really speak Spanish but, I love this song. They are a band that in my opinion has the most complete albums with the highest amount of great songs to poor ones. Each song on every album is fantastic. (In my opinion.) Some may be better than others but, no song that they have done made me think skip this” Both on stage and off stage these sisters are amazing. If you are just discovering The Warning, consider this the first day of the rest of your life. No band quite like them. I won’t repeat all he basics, but once you start exploring these sisters you’ll be sold. I think He’ll You Call A Dream from Pepsi Center will give you a good sense. Many people did not give you specific suggestions, do you know why? It is because every song in their catalog stands out. There are no bad choices.

You left me with a big smile. You said "there is nothing to learn, this is just a reaction - to enjoy" (or something similar). As I can see your perspective here from the classical teaching musicians I would like to contradict (a little bit). You CAN learn a lot from "The Warning". It's not especially learning to play an instrument or sing (well - you certainly could - I bet they could tell everyone a lot) it's more passion, fighting spirit, stage presence. They are constantly "flirting" with their audience while killing them with their music. It's so easy to believe them what they are doing there. That's one big key to their success in being maybe the next superstars (I don't think anyone else will say anything different). Just take your time to dig a little bit about their story ... You really CAN learn a lot from them. As I said, it's not only about playing instruments. I - personally - think that's the key to anything you are doing with your heart. Believe in yourself and don't give up - your time will come. And if not you've done everything (or at least everything that was possible for you).

Great reaction. This was the last song at their 10 year(?) concert at the CDMX. Three sisters from Monterrey (Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra) who learned classical piano early and then transitioned to Rock. They sing most of their songs in English and I think the crowd really appreciated them doing Martirio as their encore. Every song in this concert is worth watching. I stumbled across The Warning about two years ago. I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and I love it down hear. Five albums, well over 60 songs, and not a bad song among them. Live, however, is truly their superpower.

The first time I heard this song it brought tears to my eyes. I didn't have a clue what the lyrics meant because I don't speak Spanish, but that doesn't matter, it was the way they presented it with feeling and energy. I have seen them live twice and I am seeing them again twice this year. They are one of if not the best live bands I have ever seen. Welcome to the Warning Army.

Excellent 1st-time reaction to The Warning Jone! The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! They released their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. 7 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", "AUTOMATIC SUN", "BURNOUT", and "SIX FEET DEEP". The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #57 original songs. Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many. Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 3 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy. I am going to see them October 8th in Pomona, California and again October 9th, 2024 VIP M&G at The Bellwether in downtown Los Angeles. They played on Jimmy Kimmel on June 27th, 2024 and the following morning, I got to meet them as they signed my copy of their new album KEEP ME FED at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach, California; the day of it's official release. Last September, they played 2 songs at the MTV VMA's. Yeah, they’re Mexican, and all three are sisters. They’ve been in their band for 10 years now. Daniela, the guitarist and frontwoman, is 24; Paulina, the drummer and lead vocalist, is 22; and the youngest, Alejandra, is 19, playing bass and doing backing vocals. They’re from Monterrey and still live there. They’ve already put out four albums, but only three songs are in Spanish-they sing in English, and they totally nail it.
As you get to know The Warning more you discover that they have several styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!! And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very own opinion that with its structure, its cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings… All of this is masterful. The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication. There could always be other options, but the ones they chose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art. Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvement and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture. Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. Glad you enjoyed it. It is a worthwhile rabbit hole to jump into. Spanish is their native tongue, but they are fluent in English as well. They write most of their songs in English because they say it is easier to write rock lyrics in English than Spanish, but they do have two other songs in Spanish (Narcissista and Que Mas Quieres). Three sisters, born and raised in Mexico. Daniela (24, guitar), Paulina (22, drums), Alejandra (19, bass). They started playing classical piano, then their dad bought them the videogame Rock Band and that inspired Daniela and Paulina to learn their respective instruments. Later on Alejandra picked up the bass and the rest is history. They write mostly in english but have some songs in spanish too. They were only 17 years old (bass player), 20 (drummer), and 22 (singer guitar) or there abouts when they performed this concert! The eldest is only 24 now. They have been a band for just over 10 years now, Alejandra being only 9 years old when they started. They are all classically trained on piano, they can all sing - Paulina (drummer) sings lead on some songs, Alejandra (bass player) has sung lead on occasion, but prefers to stay as a backing vocalist. Alejandra and Daniella (guitar) also played saxophone in the past, but no longer do.

They’re from Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, but actually their music is mostly in English since they grew influenced by 70’s to 90’s rock their parents use to listen to (Martirio is one of the few exceptions). They’re a power trio, and also sisters, they grew playing together so, despite they’re very young (when this concert they were 17, 19 and 22), they have more than a decade playing, they started playing covers at they’d basement when 8, 10 and 13, and at the first year playing and uploading their videos to UA-cam, mostly for the rest of their family to see them, it turns out Kirk Hammett, from Metallica saw their cover to Enter Sandman and cheered up their video, so they became viral, and eventually decided to make it professionally with their own music and started with their first original EP just about one year that Enter Sandman cover, and haven’t stop, they now have an EP (well, 2 EPs, but actually the second one is a prerelease of their third album) and 4 albums, started opening for bands like The Killers, Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters and Muse, and actually Muse (actually their favorite band, one of their biggest influences) liked so much their band that invited them to go with them for opening another 6 shows from their European tour, and now they’ve right now finishing their third tour in Europe for the las two years, just a few days ago they had, one day to the other, two of their biggest shows, one at the Wacken Open Air Festival, for many the most important metal (they’re not really metal, but hard rock, but yes, they have some songs that could fit into metal), and the crowd loved them, but right at the next day they performed at the Pol’And Rock with a crowd even bigger (more than 50,000 people), with a way better stage with an incredible lights installation, two huge screens and better audio and they smashed it, they gave an amazing show (actually you can see it all here in UA-cam).
And since the Enter Sandman cover was the reason they became viral, they were invited to do it again, a cover fir the Blacklist Album, the covers made by Banda invited by Metallica, and they reinvented the song in an amazing way. 👍🏽
David Draiman, the leader of Disturbed has said they’re the hope of rock, since they can make the genre to become strong again; Lzzy Hale from Halestorm has such admiration for them that she went up to the stage when Dany, the guitarist was about to make a guitar change when she gave her a gift: a guitar right on the stage and making reverences to her to express her admiration. When in Europe me cause of Muse, they invited them to have diner, and Matt Bellamy took leverage to get some information about what her preferences are about guitars, even her favorite color, so next time he gave her a custom made guitar with all of the things he learned she would like in it.

You can even find early videos of them, very young, playing in piano recitals on their UA-cam channel. Live is where they are at a different level. However, just because, watch the official music video for Martirio. Every song they’ve composed is amazing.
The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as
The Warning”.
It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them.
In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto UA-cam. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together).
In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style.
They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood).
They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019.
In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing!
Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing!
They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old).
They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world.
The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023.
Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023
Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Your reaction is pretty much like everyone else when they get their first full dose of these three. They’re amazingly talented, but also highly disciplined; they’ve been playing together as a band for 11 years, and for 10 of those they’ve been focused on making this band their joint career.
Dany (the oldest and the guitarist) has focused the most on her voice, and is the lead vocalist on most of their songs, but Pau (the middle sister on drums) sings on about 20%, and she’s also a big part of the songwriting. I think Pau’s also the biggest classical music fan of the three; in one of their BTS videos, she identifies which movement of which section of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” a street musician is playing faster than I could, and she’s said that one of her all-time favorite pieces of music is the “Pas de Deux” from “The Nutcracker.” The youngest sister, Ale on bass, sings the least but is capable of it (she can fill in if Dany needs to rest her voice) and she’s also the timekeeper of the band; her sisters call her the “human metronome,” and I suspect one of the reasons The Warning tends to write bass-heavy songs is to allow Dany and Pau to use her to ground themselves.

I don’t really speak Spanish but, I love this song. They are a band that in my opinion has the most complete albums with the highest amount of great songs to poor ones. Each song on every album is fantastic. (In my opinion.) Some may be better than others but, no song that they have done made me think skip this”

They currently have 3 Spanish songs. This one narcisista which the wrote as an FU to all the haters that criticized them for only singing in English . And their newest one que mas queries. Plus about 50 other original songs this is a deep rabbit hole.
If you are just discovering The Warning, consider this the first day of the rest of your life. No band quite like them. I won’t repeat all he basics, but once you start exploring these sisters you’ll be sold. I think He’ll You Call A Dream from Pepsi Center will give you a good sense. Many people did not give you specific suggestions, do you know why? It is because every song in their catalog stands out. There are no bad choices.
I love to see first time reactions of The Warning, yours was no exception! Now if you’d like to experience them at the other end of the spectrum, acoustic guitar, harmonizing, soft, ballad, might I suggest REVENANT, Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX in 2022- its on UA-cam. You won’t be disappointed!

You left me with a big smile. You said "there is nothing to learn, this is just a reaction - to enjoy" (or something similar). As I can see your perspective here from the classical teaching musicians I would like to contradict (a little bit). You CAN learn a lot from "The Warning". It's not especially learning to play an instrument or sing (well - you certainly could - I bet they could tell everyone a lot) it's more passion, fighting spirit, stage presence. They are constantly "flirting" with their audience while killing them with their music. It's so easy to believe them what they are doing there. That's one big key to their success in being maybe the next superstars (I don't think anyone else will say anything different).
Just take your time to dig a little bit about their story ... You really CAN learn a lot from them. As I said, it's not only about playing instruments. I - personally - think that's the key to anything you are doing with your heart. Believe in yourself and don't give up - your time will come. And if not you've done everything (or at least everything that was possible for you).
TW are Mexican and just completed their 3rd European tour and performed in world famous festivals. As you can tell, these sisters are the real deal. I will suggest Dust to Dust at this same concert. The drummer, Paulina is on lead vocals, you're going to enjoy this.

The warning is 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico Dany for (Daniela 24) guitarist and lead vocals, Pau for (Paulina 22) drummer and backing vocals and sometimes she sings lead. And Ale for (Alejandra 19) bassist and backing vocals. They sing in English mostly but they do have 3 Spanish songs. And they just released their newest album “keep me fed” it’s their 4th album. They are from Monterrey Mexico, they sing mostly in English. They formed their band in 2013 and they are now 25yrs, 23 and 20, so the youngest was 7yrs old and now they do world tours opening for bands like Metallica and the Foo Fighters. So welcome to the Warning Army, you've been warned.

Great reaction. This was the last song at their 10 year(?) concert at the CDMX. Three sisters from Monterrey (Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra) who learned classical piano early and then transitioned to Rock. They sing most of their songs in English and I think the crowd really appreciated them doing Martirio as their encore. Every song in this concert is worth watching. I stumbled across The Warning about two years ago. I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and I love it down hear. Five albums, well over 60 songs, and not a bad song among them. Live, however, is truly their superpower.

The first time I heard this song it brought tears to my eyes. I didn't have a clue what the lyrics meant because I don't speak Spanish, but that doesn't matter, it was the way they presented it with feeling and energy. I have seen them live twice and I am seeing them again twice this year. They are one of if not the best live bands I have ever seen. Welcome to the Warning Army.

They are Daniela aka Dany on lead guitar and vocals, Alejandra aka Ale (pronounced Ah-ley) on the bass, and Paulina aka Pau (pronounced POW) on the drums. They are Mexican. They are sisters. They have been playing since the ages of 14, 9, and 12 respectively. They have 4 full length albums of all original material. They are the sweetest three people you could ever meet. They are legit rockstars. You've stepped into the correct rabbithole my friend.

The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They released their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. 7 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", "AUTOMATIC SUN", "BURNOUT", and "SIX FEET DEEP".
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #57 original songs.
Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many.
Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 3 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy. I am going to see them October 8th in Pomona, California and again October 9th, 2024 VIP M&G at The Bellwether in downtown Los Angeles.
They played on Jimmy Kimmel on June 27th, 2024 and the following morning, I got to meet them as they signed my copy of their new album KEEP ME FED at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach, California; the day of it's official release.
Last September, they played 2 songs at the MTV VMA's.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

Yeah, they’re Mexican, and all three are sisters. They’ve been in their band for 10 years now. Daniela, the guitarist and frontwoman, is 24; Paulina, the drummer and lead vocalist, is 22; and the youngest, Alejandra, is 19, playing bass and doing backing vocals. They’re from Monterrey and still live there. They’ve already put out four albums, but only three songs are in Spanish-they sing in English, and they totally nail it.
As you get to know The Warning more you discover that they have several styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!!
And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very own opinion that with its structure, its cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings…
All of this is masterful.
The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication.
There could always be other options, but the ones they chose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art.
Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvement and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture.
Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor.
It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits.
They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain period of time.
This is the youngest veteran band in the rock world.
Without forgetting that there are only three of them, yes, but three true geniuses in their field.
Melodically they are the best, without a doubt.
They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the key changes, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime voices, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages.
And this happens song after song… INCREDIBLE!!
