Tornadic Supercell Thunderstorm Rips Roofs Off In Laverne, OK

Supercell thunderstorms formed in the Oklahoma Panhandle on this day and tracked towards Laverne where a tornado passed just to the north of our location causing damage throughout the town, including roofs being ripped off of several buildings.

Great catch on that roof!
I love the mood story here. Gentle rotation, building suspense. Light.
Then the sirens, which sound awesome.
Power out.
The rain and wind and sudden darkness.
The roof.
The wind and rain and debris swirling all directions in the near constant flashes of lightning.
The aftermath. Rain, debris, emergency lights.
Well done. Very satisfying to see. I feel like Im there and experiencing it almost. And I dont have to plow through hours of video to see it. Lol.

So happy you enjoyed the video! And you nailed it, that's what I was trying to do kind of build momentum throughout the six minute video. It starts off at the beginning when the storm just formed and slowly progresses as the events unfold. Thanks again for watching!

Awesome video! I had a few thunderstorms so far in England this year. One of them had a wall cloud but with no tornado
