My vehicle has just over 100,000 miles at the time this service was performed. Though not noticeable in operation, after removing the belt tensioner and manually spinning the tensioner pulley, it was evident that there was resistance on the pulley and that the bearings were about to fail. If you're replacing the belt proactively due to age, you should replace the tensioner as well to save future you from additional complications.
This comment would have been better suited on my video on changing the fuel injectors and cleaning the intake manifold with gasket change, though, who knows if that will help in the scheme of things. Here's a like to the referenced lawsuit, assuming that goes anywhere: www.classaction.org/news/honda-i-vtec-lawsuit-alleges-turbo-engines-cant-handle-extra-compression-and-heat-causing-coolant-leaks#:~:text=Bissell%20v.,et%20al.&text=False%20Advertising%20Fraud-,A%20proposed%20class%20action%20lawsuit%20alleges%20the%20turbocharged%201.5%2Dliter,leak%20into%20the%20engine%20cylinders.

Thanks a lot!
Nice video! I will be doing this job soon on my 2018 Accord Sport. Thanks! This job is sooo much easier on my 2008 Mercedes Benz E350.
Appreciate it, and good luck!
Why did you replace the tensioner? Was it failing? Do you always replace the tensioner with the belt? How many miles did you have on the vehicle?

Yes at 100k definitely.
Class action lawsuit filed in Ca 12.6.24 over head gaskets blowing on 1.5T engine. Any comments?
