I've been an unholy dk main for 3 expansions now and usually when a new expac rolls around DKs are crazy good and then get nerfed into the ground and only come back later on. We wouldn't want to have anything other than mages at the top of that DPS tier list huh..

I hate have use secret technique as well as the 5,. 000.000 other buttons on sub
Mained rogue always, quit at the end of legion and came back s4 dragonflight and hate it (havent tried assasination tbf) Sub has disgusting button bloat and feels too bursty) Outlaw my old main just feels in a worse state to what I remember. Played Monk as my main since remix release and it feels great to play, 100% sticking with it.
I remember seeing you in musket guides in New World, and here we continue; speaking of the video, after 4 - 5 years playing tanky specs (ALWAYS PVP, ALWAYS KILLER MENTALITY LOL), I think I'm going to go back to my origins with dark ranger, to see how my new-old adventure goes.

I think it's refreshing to hear genuine excitement/love for retail for once in what feels like has been a long time. I just want to have fun with the game again and discover new classes/playstyles I haven't bothered to try lol. Might actually try a mage for once, hope to fall in love with Warlock again, and excited for Rider of the Apocalypse. It's cool to see some of those things I had fun in Torghast with in Shadowlands come into play
Hell yeah, I feel like the War Within is going to be a great expansion for being able to try a bunch of stuff!
I haven't played WoW in about 17 years and I just recently came back to it and I am having a blast with it! I've been playing DK, Warlock, and Druid.

Planning on playing retail for the first time in years. Should be an eye opening experience. Looking to have fun. Looking to play rogue, hunter, warlock. Not set on it yet.

Thank you for the video.I was planing to play balance druid but seems like even veterans thinking about stop playing the spec for next expansion. I'm a beginner do not know too much things about the classes in general. I've only little bit m+ experience. I'm going to try learning a character then join a guild to experience raid enviroment in war within at least I hope so. Is there a class that is in demand for raids? I hope this is not a bothering question. I've nobody to ask

Now this is just personally, but I have not had allot of fun with Feral on Beta AT ALL, I tried for quite a while and just could not get into it. On the other hand Unholy has some depth while also being quite fun, I could say the same for Survival!

I was going to main Unholy DK, but I felt that the rider of apocalypse tree was rather boring.
Then the hunter changes came around and I fell in love with Survival again!
Survival is sooo much fun it’s making me rethink my main maybe too

Hi, wanted to ask if the DK ramp is similar to what they have right now? It seemed very janky trying to DoT with 6-7gcds before starting to dps? (just like casters) And while every other is popping off, im just starting to pop pimples
There is still a ramp for sure, but It doesn’t feel too bad on the beta

Yeah I feel like if has but I haven’t played much unholy in DF
The biggest differences for unholy DK : vile contagion is 45 second CD (down from 90); unholy blight is tied to dark transformation (removing a key bind); and you can talent into an ability that every 20 festering wounds pops (very quick with vile contagion shorter cd + defile/dnd) makes festering strike into a scythe that puts 2-3 wounds on everything it hits in 12 yards cone.
So, you can DT on pull, FSx2, VC, dnd/defile. 5gcds then you are fully ramped for AoE and will be able to keep your AoE going easier and longer.
So, still some ramp but much smoother overall

But now with the removal of ret aura is there any reason besides "good damage/defensives" to bring ret into groups? Other classes also have brez etc. + holy and prot bring devo aura and are arguably more important than a dps

Hey, I watched a lot of your vids (and some other people's) about TWW, but somehow war doesn't seem to be mentionned a lot, is it because it's bad or not having a lot of change ? It's a class I liked when I played BFA but I stopped and am coming back to the game now.

How are evoker and druid looking? I’m definitely going to be leveling my evokers because I love playing all three specs, but I don’t know which one I’m going to prioritize when it comes down to gearing and all that. Im also going to be leveling a druid right off the bat just because I have mained feral from the moment I started playing WoW and the class itself is what I’m the most familiar with, but I still don’t have a clue what I’m going to be playing as my overall main or whether it will be a dps, healer, or a tank, and there are so many choices that my head hurts trying to decide 😂😂
Evoker is doing good actually, while I have heard allot of people are not too fond of the druid changes.

I was going to main a druid because I've never played one and currently having fun getting her geared as I was getting bored, but seeing my other 3 toons on here is making me rethink that. ugh. What's your thoughts on Druid? Or should I just stick to lock,mage or hunter? Obviously I can't decide yet now again lol.
Druid is always a safe choice for having all four roles/play styles.
Tried Unholy for the first time during Panda Remix and it's great, hearing he's even better now, he will be my first choice this expansion.

So ive been DK main since they came out in WOTLK but i do gotta say i havent played the virulent plague or (whateever its called) muchalways just been disease builds never any wounds im def interested planning on using it if it stays at the top

@TheComebackKids hmm ok but I don't have beta I could proly get it but I don't see all the hype I'd rather wait for the full retail version of it. And does the plague wound only extend up to 6 or 7 targets after that it loses potential aoe damage or something right?

I am wondering about bommy druid, as since it's rework, the rotation is so odd. Spam solo spell to do AOE, spam AOE to do solo spell, in short

Warrior and hunter, Will mostly focus on pvp as always but seeing the damage on survival might make me fully main hunter this expansion
Survival plays really fun which is the most important part

Here's my two cents on this:
Mage: Spellslinger arcane and Frostfire Frost are probably the two strongest specs in mage right now. I wasn't an arcane fan before, but holy crap did the beta change my mind. And Frostfire for frost doesn't change ANYTHING about frost. Just improves something that's already amazing. Fire mage with sunfury is just more of what fire was already good at: A solid crit based spec.
DK: Riders of the Apocalpyse is probably one of my favorite sub trees that they put out there. It's just so flavorful for the DK, and the option to always stay mounted in combat while outdoors? Yea, that's never getting taken off. I could care less with how technically "Suboptimal" it is. Also, while minion builds are less damage than disease builds, it's not by much, and in my opinion, it's a lot more fun.
Warlocks: So this is probably going to be my first leveling character once the prepatch hits. Been having a blast with demo and destruction. Aff is good, but not that exciting imho. Personally, I plan on going with destro diabolist for that guy, because it's going full tilt into the legion build, and that's just awesome.

@@TheComebackKids That's fair for the Afflock. I just didn't enjoy them, but they are definitely effective. There's really no bad flavor of warlock right now, and I'm super happy about that. Mages are similar, although sunfury for arcane is just... ick.
Forgot to add in... I'm definitely playing my boomkin and resto druid again with those sub trees. Largest surprise for me was Resto with Keepers of the Grove... never expected this to work so well and be so much fun.
Pretty sure my warband is going to be a mage, warlock, druid, and death knight as the main 4.
My affliction warlock will drain some souls once again 😍✨

what take is that? its a beta, numbers will change a lot. shadow priest was meta in all DF seasons, stop complaining. All you can test at the moment is how a class feels to play

I've always played a MM/BM hunter, but after trying out melee hunter in SOD, I'm a little curious to play SV hunter in retail, and see what it plays like.

I love Surv in general, but it's bonkers now!
They reworked a lot of talents.
as someone who played alot of survival in the current expansion, they removed alot of buttons that felt weird to press and its alot more straight forward now. Highly recommend as its alot closer to SoD melee hunter now...just with a load of movement! :D
It's really so much fun, only annoying thing is Hunter's Mark for me

Probably going frost mage or ret pala but these days I’m just a filthy casual 😂 done my time with raiding and all that drama, it doesn’t interest me anymore I’ll just be leveling and chilling on an RP server and spend most of the expansion leveling every class to 80.
