I have the original Mission S1, it has the slots for the saddle pack, be careful if you're running it outside, the ground clearance is really low and your bottom deck underside will look like mine, all scratched up, not to mention a stray stone getting in the slots and puncturing the battery, thankfully for me never happened 😬
Suspect the mess on the chassis around those bolts is from attempting to remove a seized one, maybe by cutting a slot in it. Would explain why replaced with different hardware.
I have four Traxxas, xmaxx, Maxx UDR and rustler.never been bashed, the UDR with proline 67 f 100 . XMAXX with proline tires.includes two chargers and batteries for all.All I want is $1500.00 for all four. I had a stroke two years ago and mine RC aren't fun anymore.
Nice pickup👍. You never know what you truelly are getting from ebay. Sometimes you strike gold and other times we get lemons.

Good information, thank you! The plan is to run it indoors, so that shouldn't be an issue. Cheers!

You can still buy a new Mission FT (front wheel drive then it can be easily changed to 4wd by adding a rear diff, drive shafts and drive belt.
Thank you, Mannfred.
Yes, James, that Mission FT is a beautiful-looking piece of kit!
