I love Andorra! Growing up in Barcelona, my family and I would drive up almost every weekend during the ski season. Seeing you talk about the streets I’ve seen so many times in a country that’s hardly anyone ever covers feels so surreal 😅
last year i was playing ets2 with google maps open to compare the real road layouts to the game, when i noticed a tiny little speck between spain and france. it is only because i was doing this comparison that i even know andorra exists lmao
It exists in ProMods which I'd very much recommend trying. It also has lots of other areas like northern Scandinavia and Iceland, and reworked areas too like the UK actually looks nice
@@ErinS06 I visited Andorra (and the mediterannean coast of France+Monaco) last summer, I looked at a video of someone driving in Promods Andorra la Vella, I was actually surprised to see that I partially recognized the street they were on, as well as some road signs.
I love these vids so much. Every Yukon upload is a holiday for me Would it be possible to cover the albertan trucking industry? We get some wild weather in the winter, high winds on the prairie that regularly knock trucks over, and I'm always seeing two and three trailer road trains on the QE2. The mix of insane weather, long flat prairie, the rocky mountains, and huge trucks (often all four in one trip) is so much fun and the truckers here are some super wonderful people
The road in 0:45 is famouly used for smuggling. On the catalan side there was quite a famous land dispute that ended up killing 3 people out of 13 in the village.
Greenland lacks any formal trucking industry. i think most we have are rigid frame trucks? because cities or towns are connected by sea and we dont really have roads interconnecting the country so theres a lack of any long haul driving for goods beyond the city which is comically small. now that i think about it i have seen smaller open trailers in my home town i come from. But more or less everything is delivered by sea and delivery of goods in a city stay within it and practically have no need for anything much larger then what is needed.
You should look into Irish trucking culture. We sold hold my beer to those "narrow roads". Compared to some of what we have thats massive. A lot of rural roads in Ireland were once dirt access roads owned by farmers that were just paved over meaning some of them are hella tight (less than 3 metres in several cases)
I have a photo somewhere of a flatbed truck in Andorra with its tires backed up to the ragged edge of a retaining wall, flatbed overhanging whatever was below. I assume they had a spotter when they parked, because that could've gone very wrong.
I love the road that get from france to Andorra, grew up here, it s a very fun and beautiful road that can be incredible if the driver is good enough, i had the chance to be in the backseat of one of thee driver, dude one a race against a Porsche with a 2CV, the madlad was simply not using brakes at all in the downhill
Having driven that road only in the night, but with my heavy right foot, I can't imagine it is even physically possible to drive it without using brakes!
European semi trucks are a total of 16.50 meters long. Rigid trucks + trailers are allowed to be 18.75m, and 'Double' configurations, such as B-doubles or rigid + dolly + semitrailer configurations (Only allowed in some countries, on some roads) are allowed to be a maximum of 25,25 meters. Any deviation requires special permits.
I once hiked from one side of Andorra (the French side) to the other (Spain). I have never been more car-sick than on the drive to the Andorran border from Toulouse Airport.
I would like to say that the first day i found this channel I subscribed turned all notis on and watched litterly every video on your channel yet youtube did not put your last 2 videos in my recomended once
It's kind of funny that the roads you show when you talk about difficult roads would be considered wide where I'm from. Also I'm often on the German Autobahn and there are definitly trucks with andorran plates driving around.
as a brit who has only ever been to the island of corfu off of the coast of greece, melbourne and sydney in australia and Calgary in Canada.... I have personally seen Traldis Porta trucks here in the UK. weird.
Can you please do a video on Polish trucks and their sea of companies. They are the market leader( in Europe) and easily the nation you see most when riding highways in western Europe. You can even mention the 3.5T vans with topsleepers, or make a whole separate video about those in Europe. The content is up to you of course, keep 'm coming.
Are you aware of the youtube channel "Truck Motion"? They make videos about trucks and some of their videos are suspiciously similar to yours, i think they might be copying you.
Also Andorra is not a Country you are going to cross if you do international transport from or into Spain. Almost all trucks are going to cross country from La Jonquera in Gerona or from Irun.
Andorra unlike most Europe doesn't have railroads or decent public transport so there is a big car culture and I wouldn't be impressed to see some American-like trucks. Also parking there is easier than it seems, at least according to my experience.
for the americans, this is the closest thing to a dry ahh state/flyover state we have here, i've been there and the only good thing is when it snows in winter, in autumn and rest of year its boring place
2:11 there is a "No trucks allowed above 3,5 tonns" sign there, so showing this and talk about how narrow the roads for trucks kinda pointless and misleading in my opinion :D
Promasters are Rams, but Rams aren't Dodges. Ram has been a separate marque since 2010. Full-size Promaster vans are indeed based on the FIAT Ducato, but they're built in North America and heavily adapted for the North American market.
Hm... *Trying to drive a full HCT with American Semis into Andorra in ProMods Euro Truck*
Great idea xD
Or IRL escaping from the police.
This is probably one of the most oddly specific videos I've ever watched
He also did one on Liechtenstein trucking.

It's been voted as the ugliest country in Europe, and honestly I can't disagree...

I'd choose an Esprit S4 myself
I took my evora to the Alps last summer and it was a dream come true
like a topgear special
A miata would be cool too (minus the snow)
I have drove these roads and they are awesome....
My next visit will be on a motorcycle
Going up there in a ctiroen was scary as hell💀
I like the self-awareness regarding how long it’s been since the last video.
Take your time, Yukon! Great content is always worth the wait.
You're laughing. He spent two months standing in a swamp and you're laughing.
Heck Yeah! I've been waiting all year for this
0:20 a van completely cuts someone off while trying to pass a truck, in the stock highway footage lmao
did anyone else get super anxious at 0:20 when the van merged left?
Yup.
Was just about to comment this, fully cut that car off 🤣
That's why mirrors exist, god DAMN that was close
@@harveyatkinson9511 I swear whenever there's someone merging, people on the comments always wish death on the driver.
@@automation7295 nobody here has wished death upon them? 🥴 I don’t often see people commenting that
Can you make a video on trucking in Vatican City next? Thanks!
lmao
If anything, trains would be used.
They have a very special type of truck, that can fit on any tiny street, comes on two wheels and doesn't even need any fuel 👍

@AA Ron promods looks great but the base game is already plenty big enough when you're doing a completionist playthrough lol
I guess they thought conflating the various small towns, as well as Waddell Beach with Devil's Slide, was good enough for SF-Santa Cruz
There's another speck nearby. Look up The Tim Traveller's video on Llivia.

Swamp bogging is PEAK this time of year, understandable.
I wonder what the trucking industry is like in Northern Canada, Greenland, and maybe even Iceland if any of those regions have any trucking industry.
As someone from those regions I also wonder what it’s like because I barely see trucks
