The 23mmf2 was the first prime I bought but also the first I sold. I did not get along with the the focal lenght and close up softness. I will never sell my 35mm1.4 or 18mmf2.
I bought this 23mm f2 and returned it. It was simply too soft and terrible at close focus. Honestley one of the worst lenses I have experienced. I have the original 23mm f1.4 and this lens is amazing in all aspects and super sharp.

I have used the 23f2, Xpro2 combination for street, travel, and landscapes with excellent results even wide open.
You should try 56mm viltrox 1.4 , 3 party lens.

I'm glad you found a lens you like. I just prefer the smaller form factor and weather sealing.
