Thanks for this realistic down to earth review, im sick of case reviewers regurgitating the specifications already available on the website. I didnt know just how bad the mobo io situation was prior to this video, so for someone like me that has a wifi board with antennae you think they can fit at all?
I would go online and get a magnetic antenna that connects with wires. This is what many motherboards come with now instead of the stick antennas (antennae?). I don't really think the situation is all that "bad," just that it's not convenient the way they set it up. I'm thinking about setting mine up with 120mm fans on either side and using a Noctua D15 on the CPU to see how well that does, then just leaving the top open. Good luck with your build!
@@Rune_17 Yeah, they come with a ton of motherboards now. This is the only video I found, after watching several, that addresses what could be a major hassle. I was considering using this case to build my first PC dedicated solely to streaming. Since I need to install, in addition to the GPU, two capture cards from Elgato-the Cam Link Pro, which has four HDMI inputs, and the Elgato 4K Pro for the game feed from another PC-that’s already at least seven cables coming from the PCIe side! I don’t think this case will work, which is a shame because it’s a unique design. What are your thoughts? Maybe Im wrong and they could fit, I have not seen the case in person. Thanks!
If you use that many cables, it might be a little bit of a headache. I'm not sure it wouldn't work, but if I were going to do it, I'd try the following: 1. Use the narrowest and most flexible cables I can where possible. Probably that's easy to do for any 1080p sources. 2. Use a hook/loop strap to tied the cables together before they exit the lid of the case. 3. Definitely move the top fans to the bottom of the case and forgo use of the top fan bracket completely. I don't have a setup as complicated as yours, but My guess is that you could make it work.
Bought this case a week ago and discovered that my gpu in vertical position makes a very strange sounds. Seems like bearing on GPU fans is wine a little bit. Have you encountered same problem with vertical cases like this?
Not exactly that, no. And not with video cards. But, I have had other types of fans behave acoustically differently when oriented different ways. The noise could be the fans like you suggest, could be coil whine that you didn't notice before (it's not always a high pitched squeal), or it could be vibrations resonating in the case. If you hold on to the card while it's running, without touching the fans, it could be vibrations. If you (SAFELY) stop each fan and listen, you might be able to isolate the sound to a single fan. Those are things I would try, but don't cut yourself on a fan, or damage the electronics of your card by shorting it, etc. Be safe with yourself and the card.
So you recommend against 420mm aio|????

Can you install AIO with tubes going down?
can a EATX fit on this case?

I swear to god you sound like the guy that did an amazing POE walkthrough series years ago.
I don't know who that was, but it wasn't me. Hope my voice wasn't too bad; it's something you're pretty stuck with, you know?

@@ChillBuilds thanks for advice! Btw, what aio did you use? 420 or 360?
@@ChillBuildsI've ordered both 420 and 360 Arctic aio, primarily because of aesthetics, my CPU is drawing about 60-80W anyways.
You don’t sound very chill lol
@@Racamonkey ok! You're right, this was a less chill video than I would like. I'm still working on the tone.
