More of an honorable wow factor, when I first saw Niko, Light of Hope I was like "oh she is neat" but after making a deck with her and the fact that shards are enchantments, I realized that she is scary as hell. Having a lot more fun with her over brago.
Shifting Woodland is profoundly underrated in the current meta. I personally grade it higher than Talon Gates. In most cases I've observed, Talon Gates disrupts someone else's win whereas Shifting Woodland enables your own win.
As a post ban Korvold believer, Six and Shifting Woodland are insane. Objectively though I'd say Floodcaller is probably the most bonkers card to enter the format this year. I think Trouble in Pairs is a card to watch going forward.
@@swakton7185Exile Kiki-jiki from the GY with the first hazel etb and tap the food to make a copy of hazel. The new hazel will etb and make a new food which will also have Kiki’s ability. You can then make infinite hasty squirrels
Hazel enters and exiles Kikki in the gy, creating a Food token with Kiki's activated ability. Tap Food token to make a haste clone of Hazel. Hazel ETB makes another Food token (you make a Food even selecting no targets in gy). Tap the new Food token to make a haste clone of Hazel. Repeat for infinite haste Hazel's.
Been banging the drum on Delney since it was printed glad to see more widespread adoption. Update: Also vindicated in my belief that Talon Gates of Madara would be the card that cedh would be claiming was undeniably busted 6 months later, and here we are with people realizing uncounterable land ability removal of creatures preventing you from playing your own combo piece is wildly good.
well crafted list sir! It's funny how Bloomburrow is close to the most impactful set of 2024 for cEDH, go otters frogs birds:). I'd argue Necrodominance should be somewhere on the list as well?
Is spite scooping legal in cEDH? Say I have aetherflux reservoir, exquisite blood and 51 life, so I can shoot everyone for 50 then gain 50, if the first person I target with the effect scoops, do I not regain 50 life? People do this sort of stuff in my pod all the time and I'm curious if it's sanctioned in events.
@isaac3252 most events basically only allow you to concede on your turn at sorcery speed, and you're treated as though you're in the game until you can get to a point where you're allowed to concede.
It pretty rare that I buy new cards. "This product is not for you", CGI, and universes beyond made me really take a sobering look at wotc and mtg. There are enough old cards and Im willing to buy a few singles if they dont reflect what I dont like. I only play c/edh and legacy anyway. Otherwise I just enjoy flipping through my old cards. I havent minded taking a break over the last year and a half and I expect to add another commander deck to the collection over the holidays, but I'm generally not buying new cards. I only want to support lgs' for game space. Wotc can burn down and sink in to a swamp and it wont bother me.
What are your top 10 cards printed this year? Let me know down below!
Vexing bauble is my choice as it's one of the very few cards I added to Gaddock Teeg this year.

Delney is awesome in cEDH and so many other formats, itll age like fine wine
Awesome video! I literally Google searched top cedh cards of 2024 yesterday and then this gem came out 😂😂
new haircut/facial hair combo looking really fresh dude. Keep that up king! big improvement imo!
thank ya!
I honestly thought "haircut/facial hair combo" is some weird cEDH meta-slang :D
I haven’t watched a cedh video in a while. Happy to be here

Delney is so good in Malcolm/Tymna!
New Lamora's cards vid just dropped!!!!!!!
Making shifting woodland a hulk after your reanimate got countered then sacing it to culling the weak is a great feeling.
I saw someone point out on reddit that Hazel's also combos with just a Kiki-Jiki in grave, which makes it also work well in rakdos lists
Can you explain? I dont get the combo :(

@@singerbradley thanks !
Tim Necron is my new favorite card of this year
I made Rakdos. So fun
thanks for the video!

Probably was at least worth it as an honorable mention! Too many cards I can't keep up 😅
I pulled a borderless Shifting Woodland and thought: "Is this busted or am I stupid?"
I'm just not thrilled about the surveil lands myself. I've lost games due to drawing a land that enters tapped. My personal take, right or wrong.
I found it interesting how Triomes were literally unplayed, but having Surveil makes them top spot contender despite coming in tapped.
The option of surveiling the top card of your library to smoothen your draws is usually a lot better than a land gives you one more color
Got my UA-cam recap the other day, apparently i'm in the top 3% of your viewers. I need to get out more 🍻
@brendans1983 lol nah that's the best possible way to spend your time!

is necrodominance not seeing enough play to make the cut? i would have expected it to be up there
It's pretty much just in Rog/Si, it should've at least got an honorable mention though I think in the current meta post ban it's not looking great.
Yo Tim Necron 🔥
How you would rate Rev thithe Extractor?
@@adi9075 tough since I haven't seen it in a game yet, but I could see it being one of the better cards this year potentially.
Faerie mastermind has been one of my favorite card in every blue deck. It draw too many cards
Yo this dude is hilarious. Great takes.
I like the list
I agree with everything except the first slot, they’re good but they come in tapped
Glarb
I cant keep up, havnt bought anything since otj but ive been printing lol
#1 is of course my boy Gaddock Teeg! ❤❤❤
🔥
So mockingbird is better than a gilded drake because you get the etb ?
Surveil tapped lands #1, No
