People's preferences for others are based on so many things, maybe even genitals. With regards to cis, straight women being interested in transmen, you gotta just face the fact that some will not date you because of the genitals. It's nothing personal. That's just a preference. I'm a transguy and have been rejected plenty of times, but I also have had many women who are interested in me too. Dating is not easy, especially for dudes and more specifically, transmen. Don't worry, there are women who don't care about genitals. Move on and try not to get discouraged.
I fully understand preference my dude lol just sharing my stories. At the end of the day i could give a shit if someone doesnt wanna be with me cuz im trans 🤷♂️ just want people to not feel alone and know these things happen to EVERYBODY. thanks for the comment tho
Yea maybe u should just say it upfront cuz a month 🤔 yea u should have told her ur third time just tell them may have a much more better outcome but hey keep going handsome its someone out there for all of us 😘
I feel you a lot on that cuz I’m trans too. I’ve been sad when this situation has happened to me in the past but we all have a preference. That’s why I put it in bio to avoid the people that won’t be interested. It also helps with confidence to avoid certain people . You should do it too for your mental sake cuz you are perfect but you need to connect with the ones that will see you for you. So just write it on your bio
Confidence is key for sure. There is no right or wrong way to disclose the info either, its all about the vibes you get depending on the person...for me at least. Thanks for the comment!
Buddy, if you feel like a man, start accepting that you'll be rejected 9 times out of 10 for all kind of reasons that you won't appreciate (or feel is right). It's part of the deal of being a man. Stop labelling women that rejects you as "transphobic" just to feel better. Man up, be proud of yourself and present yourself as trans right away. Personnally I would be PISSED OF to learn 1 month in (or more) that the girl I'm dating hide me the fact that she's trans (or anything else of importance). It's just not what I'm looking for and it doesn't mean I'm a bad person. Everybody as their own opinion on the subject, and I respect that you feel it should't be an issue and that you believe you don't have to say it right in the beginning of the relationship. I respect that, but I strongly believe that it will probably just bring you more rejections and hurt feelings, cause your belief is based on insecurities.
Louis-Sébastien Hamelin totally agree my man lol i dont actually think they are transphobic haha clickbait at its finest. I get the rejection tho. Trust me 🤙
@@ColtonRyals Haha allright then! But seriously, don't take the rejections personnaly. We're all "not enough" for 95% of the population as a partner for various reasons. We just need to accept it, own who we are and concentrate on the people that are attracted to us just as we are. And to find those people, you gotta be clear on your identity right at the beginning. Waiting for a "strong connection" to show who you truly are is a sign of insecurity, and almost all women are turned off by this... whether your trans or not. By owning your trans identity, you'll find the right woman. But don't judge people for wanting what they want in a partner. Don't forget you have your own physical standard for a partner, as everybody does.
I’m trans and I agree. I tell a guy after the two txts to move away the ones they don’t want me and talk to the ones that are okay with that part of me . Now I have it on my bio to avoid this
I honestly just put in any of my dating apps that I am trans right off the bat so I don’t come across a situation like this. It’s just my personal preference right now but that might change when I’m more clearly passing but currently I feel like I look too young as a male for it to do well otherwise. It sucks dating in general, it sucks worse when you are trans 😕
Tate Phillips yeah I think I’m gonna have to start just putting it in my bio...🤷♂️ I just hate feeling “different” you know? But it is what it is...lol
@Rookielove1 well ive dated straight women before too and its been fine lol So you can have your opinion, but what YOU think isn't always the case. Thats a pretty close minded statement
Be upfront from the beginning. You'll find the right person from being open. People can't change their orientation, you need to find someone who's attracted to you as you are.
@@ColtonRyals A wrong time to tell a woman would be waiting past a week or waiting until they've start developing feelings. I wish there was a dating app for trans people where everything is disclosed which would make getting rejected and hurt less likely. Is that a thing, and if not, why? In the long run, as you have experienced and learned, you end up getting very hurt as well. Imagine disclosing that info right off the bat, and shes super into you anyways. That's got to be the best feeling. I just put myself in this girls shoes, I've been lied to before, and these things slowly chip away at a person. Good luck on your journey.
You’re so selfish. You expect people to accept your gender identity but you can’t even respect other people’s sexual orientation. Get over yourself, you’re not entitled to straight women. She didn’t “lose” anything, stop patronizing her for knowing what she wants.
Colton Ryals I'm pretty sure she felt the same way....... she thought she knew you, she thought she knew who you were and at the end you were not what she thought. Because let's face it, when she started dating you (or developing feeling for you), YOU made her believe that you were a biological men and you are not. Imagine how she felt because of it. She probably has her believes but you didn't care about them because you weren't honest with her. I know you wanted her to get to know you from your personality but this is not an easy topic for anyone, it's a very important thing for the both of you. If you wanna start a relationship you need to be honest from the beginning because being trans is who you are and you need to find someone thats ok with it. That's what you need to look for, not a relationship that started on a lie.
@@ColtonRyals was I able to express correctly? Did you understand my point of view??? English is not my first language so sometime my ideas tend to get a little messy. Be honest from the beginning and I'm pretty sure you will find the right person for you. Stop imposing your feelings to the others. That's wrong. Other thing I want to say is that I hope you don't get me wrong and think that I hate you or something (I don't really know you so I can't hate you) but is frustrating that everytime a straight person stand for there position to prefer a born male or female transgenders then start to say they are transphobic. Thats not fair. That can damage the image of a good person. That's not good. And to be honest I ended up in your videos because I wanted to understand the process that transgenders go through so that I can try to understand everyone point of view. But the title of this video got me a sour sensation with you. I'm pretty sure you don't mind about my opinion (because that "lol" you add as an answer for my previous comment makes me believe that you are only looking for people who will agree with you without questioning) but I just need to say what I believe is right. If you choose to try to understand my point of you is up to you. Hope you find the right person in the correct way.
I dont mind hearing other peoples opinions. But you said it yourself...you don’t know me. So im not going to really lose sleep on other peoples opinions of me. Thanks for the comment though 🤘
I think this is really hard for trans people and it shouldn't be that way. Like you're willing and open to reveal something important for you, something that makes you vulnerable and you are basically an awesome person... I wish people could leave all prejudice aside and give trans people a chance to just date like a normal person. It's so unfair!
Dude, you are so handsome but you were just not her preference. Fat, short, tall, single mothers, “ugly”, and basic women are rejected all day long until some dude comes along and falls madly in love with her. Think about your preferences. Who is undateable to you? Same thing. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You are enough for that one person who is going to be so crazy about you.
Britney. also, i feel you on this. about how much of a curveball it throws at you. i think as trans folks, we’re already doubting ourselves about not matching up to cis folks and when a potential partner basically outright says that’s why they aren’t interested, it hurts. i know it’s naive to say, but i wish people were interested in relationships beyond what genitals someone has
If I was a woman I wouldn't date you either. If I was a gay man I wouldn't date you. It's for pretty much the same reason that I wouldn't date someone with tattoos or piercings. I don't find modified bodies attractive. Even my cars are 'stock'; I don't modify them in any way. Now to sit back and wait for all the angry comments, threats of violence and death, accusations of transphobia. Is a man that doesn't want to sleep with another man homophobic? No don't answer that...
Nah you're good. Thanks for the comment. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There is no right or wrong answer. Theres so many fucking people in the world dude, not worried about finding someone lol
I dont think you are being realistic, you identify as a man but you still have your original genitals down there. A straight woman will not be comfortable with that.
Cole, is there an app that has worked better for you than others? I've been out of the dating scene for literally 6 YEARS. And as much as I don't want to admit it, I think I've stayed away from dating because I'm trans. The last girl I dated literally couldn't have given less of a shit that I was trans, but she was also a big hobag, so...maybe I'm not that special. I'd like to dip a toe in the dating pool, but I'm also very picky on top of being timid. So about a year ago I just said "fuck it, I'll just be by myself". But now I feel like eh, maybe I should try one last time. So if one app works better than others please let me know. Thanks, man.
