Hey there, from other UA-camrs, many of them said the variegation on the burl Marx is temperature dependent. As the temperature becomes warmer variegation returns. So.... I don't have the plant so I can say for sure. But that may be the issue
I cut mines back because it was growing like a wild child. The mother stump is all yellow but I waiting until it gets warmer to see if it gets some darker leaves. The chopped one is variegated
Also mottled and mojito is the same. I purchased a mojito and after giving it good light, its variegation started becoming mottled so treat your mojito well it will wow you
an easy plant that I struggle with is the albo syngonium! It's one of my favorite plants of all time but I can't keep it happy to save my life ughhh 😭😩
Darn I wish you had been successful! I just bought a reverted variegated Burle Marx on discount and was hoping to maybe fix it. Its a beautiful plant either way!
I love my epi marble and my albo and thai. Love your video. I have the opposite problem with my burle marks. It started off with 2 half moon leaves then started throwing all variegated. I cut it back and waiting to see the results
I bought a cutting if a varigated burle marx like a month ago 😢😮 ill be so sad if it looses its varigation, its so pretty. I guess if it does ill just add it to my green burle marx.
@@PlantsNTings I actually checked after watching your video because you were talking about the variegation on the stems, so it appears mine has 2 stems and the 1 is very variegated which is still producing variegated leaves but the other stem I noted grew from a point where I see it had been cut. The original stem, close to the base of the plant from where it was cut appears to have good variegation but the node/ stem that grew from that point is not as variegated hence the green leaves. Your Video was very informative and really helped me take a closer look at the plant. Air layering now and hoping to cut that stem and then just grow a non-variegated burle-marxe separately. So i figure when you buy your established 1, the key is going to be to check the variegation in the stem of the plant. Thanks so much for your insight and guidance. 💛🌻
my variegated burle Marx came as a one leaf plant with good mix of green and yellow on the leaf and stem and after that one leaf it kept giving me all yellow leafs chopped her… she kept doing the same chopped her again and now waiting to see what’s she about to give me
Definitely for me it’s the variegated string of hearts! That plant hates me so much. I’ve had 2 and both have gone to be with the Lord. I’ve given up on that plant 🤭 I’ll stick to philodendron
Oh man that’s a tough one…I’d say give it some time first.. Maybe 2 more leaves and see what it gives you.. is it white all the way down to the node? If so it may likely only give white leaves but if there’s some green down the stem to the node it can eventually give some green maybe with a little encouragement of chopping
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plants lovely collection I see you use leca please tell me what you put in the water please send me a text and have a blessed day love recollection my name is Jillian
Ooh that white princess is stunning 🤩
I live in Florida and my Paraiso Verde lives outside and yes it is dependent on light as well as heat to keep that variegation
Tienes razón la luz solar es importante para la fotosíntesis
Saludos
Ooo that’s so nice! I’m sure it’s stunning😍
love variegated plants, that monstera albo variegata is just stunning! grats!
Same! And thanks!!
I don’t have any variegated plants except my reverted Syngonium aura. It was a gift with purchase. I was notified of it’s reverted status
Ohh ok the aurea is nice one

Interesting hopefully the warm summer will bring it back then 🙌🏽
Idk I like the yellow leaves your Burle Marks is putting out. You could be the only person with Aurea BM!! 💚💚💙
Lol! I didn’t think of it that way.
You inspired me and I’m also working on a plant wall as well
Aww that’s awesome! I hope you love how yours turns out!

I see..maybe I’ll give mine some more time as well to see what it does
Also mottled and mojito is the same. I purchased a mojito and after giving it good light, its variegation started becoming mottled so treat your mojito well it will wow you
I was thinking it was lighting as well but I gave mine a lot of light from my southwest facing window and all I got was bleaching with each new leaf🫠

Philodendron giganteum blizzard is high on my wishlist.
It’s a good one!

Those are nice variegated plants.. I’d love to have that problem with my Burle marx lol
Your plants are amazing!!! Your Syngonium albo is so beautiful!!!!
Thank you! I do love it too

Yea it’s hard to say..hopefully you’ll have a better experience
I bought an established variegated burle marx and the one stem has given me 3 green leaves already so I am thinking of chopping it
Man even the established one is tough huh

I have had nothing but issues with my burle Marx. Green leaves crisping on what does come in variegated. Beautiful plant but a real pain.
Man it is a beautiful pain..I thought it was jus me
Maybe the Syngonium needs less light.
I was thinking the same
🙂❤️🌱✨
💚🙌🏽☺️
Sorry about your burle Marx green variegated plant. However, your outfit, hair & makeup are awesome!
Lol thank you!!

Man smh I hope you finally get some balance.. they’re tough!
Definitely for me it’s the variegated string of hearts! That plant hates me so much. I’ve had 2 and both have gone to be with the Lord. I’ve given up on that plant 🤭 I’ll stick to philodendron
Aww man lol i haven’t tried those but I jus have a feeling I’d struggle too! Thanks for sharing💚
I got a cutting of syngonium albo and I chop it into two, but both of them are giving me only white leaf. What is your opinion?

I struggle like crazy with Diffenbachia. 🤮
I’ve heard many say the same they can be dramatic 🙄
at this point I dont even want one. Too many people are having problems with it
I don’t blame you..it’s tricky finding a good one
