Hi Tracy, I found you just by accident on you tube, but what a
happy accident. I'm a watercolor artist from the Great Southwestern Untied States. I just love Art Nouveau, as well as Art Deco, but I do all kinds of art. I will be following you on you tube now. Thank You for your lovely art form.
thank you Gayle!
You did what I've always thought zentangle would be good for. Thanks.
You are welcome!
So cool I love your style ! Kisses from France !
Thank you Vanessa!
I love your work. Thank you.
Thank yo so much!
Bellisimo!! Love ZIA. I'm from Uruguay. 🤗😚🌹
Thank you!
How simply and fun the original lines were drawn loosely, and how nice they turned out. Your lines are steady, like a pin striper....I just got a pin striping brush....can't use it, but I've been playing with lines...trying to pull off stylistic lines.... The verbal guidance as you draw is helpful.
greenspringvalley thank you for your comments. I’m glad that you found this video helpful. I’d never heard of pinstriping so I looked it up. It looks like fun. Drawing any lines just takes practice. I do glass engraving and silk painting and both of these types of art require a steady hand.
Me encanta!!!!! Tu arte. Geacias. Saludos desde Cancun México.
Thank you so much! 💕
Just beautiful!
Thank you Joni
Gorgeous, didn't expect to be very interested, but I had to stop what I was doing to watch properly! Came across you by chance, but shall definitely watch more. Thank you.

Hi Tracy Anne!! Totally love A/N art designs!!! One of my fave eras in art!! Thank You!! You are So Talented!! I made one of the bookmarks from the Mehndi set that I have to color and finish. I added an extra little flower to the curls ( cos they came out not spaced closer than I expected lol!) Came out nice though...I Can't wait to work with some of these designs!! What FUN!!!💝🤗💚🌸🌺🌹🙋♀️Mindi 🇺🇸
Thank you Mindi! Sounds like you are having fun!

I was dumb lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Ahmed Malakai Instablaster =)
This is amazing. I love Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and was wondering how to combine the two. Zentangle will give me a chance to do that. I'm always thinking of ways to combine media and methods.
Thanks Eunice, I also love these two decorative styles.
These flowers remind me of colombine, a wild flower.
Oh this is such an inspiration Tracy! I was thinking of incorporating Art Nouveau into Zentangle too. Thank you for this great video!
You are welcome! I have always loved Art Nouveau.
Awesome.
Thank you Anna!
I have been really missing out on watching your videos.
You are a great artist.
Thank you so much Carla!
@@TracyAnneWilkinson Aah you remembered.
I have had a bit of confusion and weirdness when people find out I am female.
It shouldn't matter but inuendos become a bit confusing.😆😆😆
1 women had a right pop after I said I was female.I thought she was looking for an affair.
Like I was trying to lead her down the wrong path.
So I try and get it in early now.
Saves confusion. But using my own name was worse at times.😆
@@TracyAnneWilkinson loving the videos. I started at the beginning (a year ago)
4 HOURS NOW. 😆😆😆😆

thank you! my grandmother commissioned me to paint one of her walls and i knew art nouveau was the way to go, but felt daunted by all the twists and turns. now i feel like i can do this!
That is fantastic!
Todo muy lindo. Gracias
Thank you Edith!
very nice, thanks for sharing
You are welcome, thank you!
Perfect..more draws please..thanks.
Thank you!
I just discovered your channel. I had been wondering if Zentangle methods would give me access to many historical styles that have always fascinated me.
Patterns are in nature and are a common feature in art throughout history. It’s fun to look at art through the ages and work out step outs to recreate these patterns in a Zentangle fashion.
Love the boldness of the last one.
Thank you!
@@TracyAnneWilkinson Told you I talk.
Am I right though that comments help like a 👍. That's why I do it too, I can't donate so Help this way hopefully.
Word of mouth too.
@@TracyAnneWilkinson You are on Facebook too right?
What name are you there. The same. We can share then too. Meet your gang/cult.😆😆😆
All 3 of these tangles are beautiful! I think my favorite one is the last one with the special border. I noticed when you were adding color in tight spots that you used something with a lavender handle. It seemed stiff but was it a brush? I am just starting to do watercolor pencils and I am trying to understand. I just discovered your channel. Your Ribbons and Pearls tangle was beautiful also.
Thank you! The lavender handle belongs to a brush. It is a cheap brush so looks stiff but it is small and can get into small crevices. If you are new to watercolour pencils, I have a video which shows a variety of ways to get the most out of your watercolour pencils -
ua-cam.com/video/OCh56Gl0cmc/v-deo.html
what brand water color pencils do you use? And is that a nylon brush? You make it all look so easy. I love how you make period art look easy.
Thank you! In this video I think I used watercolour pencils from Zentangle’s project packs and maybe some other loose pencils I had lying around but mostly I use Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils by Faber Castell.
The paintbrush was a fairly inexpensive synthetic brush.
💓
❤️
Curious to know why you use watercolour pencils rather than paint.
It’s just one technique. I try to show people a variety of mediums throughout my videos. Any different mediums can be substituted in most of my videos. You could absolutely use paint instead.
