This is a project that needed to be done by Slash. Every decade we need a reminder where the roots of rock came from. And Slash is the undoubtingly the guitarist to capture this master piece of songs with all the right artists. Thank you Slash. Oh and thank you Steven for the bad ass harmonica solo. Long live the blues.
What time to be alive! Thanks for making this album a reality Slash! It is a masterpiece! Can’t wait to see the other episodes and the Serpent Festival! 🤘🎩
During the 1980's SRV, and Slash were the antithesis of the glam, tapping plus lots of dive-bombing techniques guitar playing. Though most rock guitarists those days wanted to play like Van Halen. SRV, Guns N' Roses, Tesla maintained the bluesters style. Salute to you brother Slash!
Trust me, AI may understand emotions, but can never express it.. It can come up with cool song lyrics, but never the melody. The melody is what gives the emotion to it.
blues rhythm has always been in your blood, I fell in love with your music precisely because of these notes, even if they were hidden many times. You are a great Slash ❤️ I love you
I bought the CD last Friday, I have listened to it on my home stereo and in my truck no less than 10 times. I'm going to have to get the vinyl record too! This is easily one of the greatest recordings of all time. Every song is awesome. Loved all the Male singers, and the Ladies are outstanding!!!!
I think this album is magnificent, these reinterpretations were perfect without extravagance...The Blues in its essence with Slash's always very competent touch❤❤❤
I feel every vibe from this vid and the way the guys sing & play. Slash and the crew built this from their soul. Been following Aerosmith since Dream On was released then Brian takes over for Bon. What a contribution that is made here. This is how you keep the blues going...Just saw the SERPENT Festival last night for the last show and I pray Slash will let this happen again, somehow.
I like how Brian's voice goes higher by mistake. Mr Tyler is a great Blues harp player. Slash introduced me to the Blues when I was a kid. Now I'm a Blues musician. Will be always greatful
This version of Killing floor is the best rock song released this year in my opinion, three legends collaborating on a old skool blues record is what the rock ‘n roll scene needed. And needless to say that i was gladly surprised by Brians natural low singing voice
Bestiaaaaaaas!!! Si escuchar el disco es orgásmico, ver su grabación es acabar 3 veces seguidas! Gracias Monstruos por seguir regalando tan gloriosa sensación.
What a band, it's nice to see them having fun and enjoying themselves, we'll enjoy listening to the album as well, thanks to Mr. Slash and other gentlemen God Blass You All
legend!! great work! love the album, we all the slash fans were waiting for a blues album, thanks for bringing it with such a good production musicians and quality.. better is imposible!
I love this album so much, and I had always loved Slash for his Bluesy-Hard Rock tone/style, so this really shows what I mean when I say that. Really loving the guitars too
Slash is the last in a lineage of legendary British rock guitarists (Slash was born in England and considers himself British, look it up). By making this album paying homage to the American blues pioneers that influenced his own heroes, he is closing the circle of musical inspiration, solidifying his place in the pantheon of rock legends while paying tribute to the genre that started it all.
Slash is God! I love you brother! I love this album Slash, my 80 yr old parents love this album! That's crazy right!? We finally have something we can get along with. It only took 53 years. I think it's hilarious that you made a killer blues album with only one black singer. LMAO! Please do more with Beth that woman is the shit! And I love you just discovered Samantha Fish ain't she the fucking greatest?
That harmonica solo is completely insane and absolutely perfect
Tyler ✌
Slash may say he’s a rock guitarist, but the bluesy way he plays is what made him my favorite guitarist. 👏🏻
Some of the Rory Gallagher influence doesn't hurt. All about the blues!
Same here!
Slash is the last in a lineage of legendary British rock guitarists (Slash was born in England and considers himself British)
Watching Slash and Tyler listen back on the harp solo with think-frown, then -- in unison -- go "Yeah, there it is" was fucking GOLDEN! Made my day!
I love that Brian never lost his Geordie accent, warms my own Geordie heart to hear him & see these two British rock giants work together🤘
It does sound like he's putting it on though. Not his accent - just amping it up for effect.
It's almost impossible to understand. I only hear grunts and shouts.
@@DavidOakesMusic trust me, he isn’t, he is just very old school broad Geordie, I assure you he ain’t amping nowt up mother tongue wise😂
@@DavidOakesMusic in fact if anything, that’s him actually toning the accent down so Slash can understand him
@@Nghilifa I'm from England so I understand him but I didnae realise he were soo thick soundin like !
Steve Tyler absolutely smashing it on the harmonica!! 🤘

Slash is great , always was , I dig how he plays with a variety of other greats , that's how you catch lightning in a bottle

Great White was another blues based band of the era, as well as Tora Tora's Surprise Attack record.
In the age of AI, showing how the sausage is made will be important. Thank you for giving us a look behind the curtain.

Love seeing "the making of", can't wait to see the rest of them. Love this whole album!
blues rhythm has always been in your blood, I fell in love with your music precisely because of these notes, even if they were hidden many times.
You are a great Slash ❤️ I love you
One thing I’ve always noticed about Steven Tyler as a frontman is his impeccable timing. Amazing stuff.
Agreed. He started as a drummer.
Yeah, he's been doing this a long time. :)

9:45 The Slash's face says everything. EPIC
Haha. Such a rock god thing to do by Steven Tyler. Walks in, one take, "That was fun!", straight to In-N-Out.
50 years of rocking it... it was like when you call the expert.
I was 11 years old for AFD. You're the best man. Keep going. Everything you do is gold. Cheers.
I think this album is magnificent, these reinterpretations were perfect without extravagance...The Blues in its essence with Slash's always very competent touch❤❤❤

I am so glad Steven Tyler is on this album. He’s just right for this sort of blues album!
Listening to it on vinyl! feel the warmth of the music!
Cool to watch these pros in the studio. Very professional but having a ball at the same time. Very cool
I ❤ The BLUES Guitar melody. It was just PERFECT.
8:42 ... Speechless
I really hope you all play these live at least once.
Слэш, спасибо труд, за творчество🎉. Спасибо вам всем, мои любимые легенды😊🤘🤘🤘🎉🎉🎉
Loved!!!! More content like this one please!!!!
Steven Tyler playing harmonica and Slash stepping on gas with guitar right after him, is best part in this song for me.👏👏👏
