I am 70 y.o n a diabetic individual but my kidney is functioning well according to my doctor.Spinach,pipino,pear,apple n coffee without dugar,help regulate my sugar. I don't take medicine. Shlould I stop eating spinach? Yhans.

What if you actually LOVE spinach both raw in a salad and cooked. I don't take any medications. I take vitamins. Don't care for sprouts on anything, has no flavor. Hate Kale, very bitter. Love asparagus, eat it 2 times a month, not by the truck load! Will only eat mushrooms in a jar, fresh mushrooms go bad too fast. Love red pototoes and baked potatos, but NOT daily. Always wash raw potatoes and soak a bit in water and you'll see the starch in the water, drain until the water is clear. Slo cook potatoes. Only use frozen peas, canned peas (like all canned veggies) have too much salt - drain until water goes clear - the bubbles in the can is the "salt" it's packed in. Best to make homemade veg soup so you get a little bit of all the veggies you like.
