But Season 1 makes it really easy to get into and once you manage S2 S3 might still be confusing but certainly manageable - I mean they even threw in action-scenes and rap-battles how much more accessible does it need to get?
Me too. This, Fargo, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Sopranos, Mad Men, Mindhunter, Etc. They're all on the list of greatest series of all time. Forget GOT, the quality dropped rapidly. Stranger things? EHHH. and don't even mention Walking Dead. I stopped watching that because it became so boring and repetitive, droning on and on. And American Horror Story has been in the gutter since season 6 ended. Very rushed and I can't take it seriously anymore with the new actors. 🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢

I agree 100%. Noah Hawley is a genius filmmaker. Fargo is a masterpiece as well, especially season 2. Legion is the most unique comic book tv series ever created, and nothing can top it. The storytelling narrative, the cinematography, and the distinctive character acting is incomparable to any other series on television. It's like Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch had a baby. Simple as that.

But the further we look into David as a person, the more we see. When we first meet David, he's been locked up in a mental hospital for years, and he was abandoned by his parents as a baby. Then he meets Syd, a romance blossoms, and he thinks the nightmare is over. Little did he know, that was only the beginning. Throughout season 2, Farouk, future Syd, and David's own illness causes him to inherently become a pathological liar. Syd turns on him, and suddenly he's the "bad guy". In Season 3, we meet Switch, who helps David go back in time and attempt to change the past. Along the way, David meets his father and warns him about Farouk. Syd also goes back in time, and meets David's mother and baby David. This causes Syd to have a change of heart, and she convinces Gabrielle to not abandon David, and raise him properly. In the end, David's parents get a second chance to be there for him, and David gets a second chance to live another life.
Yestterday I was walking home pretty high and I thought of the shows symbolism and the fact that David's story is literally coming into contact with his shadow, fighting it with naïve and raw force, only to have it destroy him in his own huebris. Third season: befriend the shadow that raised you, come to terms with it, organize your chaotic and fucked mind and to truly become God. Nice edit btw

This show explores a brilliant concept, a philosophy that physicality is all based off subjectivity, that the person's perspective defines their reality. At the beginning of the show, we see David as a man who doesn't know what is real or not, and he slowly becomes a man defines reality. Whatever he thinks is real, is. He can no longer be termed insane, as he is the master of his own world.
Thank you for this, I really believe season 3 was cut short and the Blue Meanies were Noah's way of telling the viewers time was cut short so the story got rushed. Still amazing.

IMO this was the best show on television. Only wish it had more than 3 seasons. Truly incredible story telling, acting, visuals and music! Highly recommend if you haven't seen it yet.

I think he's real,but not in his original physical body,his physical body could be in something like a coma,maybe in a mental institution,but was still strong in the astral plane where he created the world we watched.That's what I thought for earlier seasons,but after the finale with switch undoing everything,growing into something of a higher power.I'm not sure what to think.Maybe there point is that one reality is no more real or fake,that your spirit goes on.When switch says nothing of value is ever lost.

Legion, Dirk Gently Holistic Detective Agency, OA, Sense8, Maniac.. those are such insightful and beautiful series (not appreciated enough, but shows like this very experimental aka "weird" by nature, so we really should be glad that they are came into our existence somehow). I hope, that much more unique creations like that will be born in the future.

I always hated that Syd made David the bad guy because of the rape when She did the same with her mother's boyfriend. She changed her body with her mother's to f*** his boyfriend in the bathroom and I think that is rape too because She was trying to be other person, liying to him for sex and even more he caused that man to be probably in jail and of course no more relationship with Syd's mother because everyone tho it was His fault, I seriously hated the hypocrisy of Syd and was really hoping David to screw the world because of spite. i find david's story so tragic but fascinating at the same time. i very often listen to ost's before sleeping and this video with the music is so good i watch it every now and then. not fan of the start of the song but after the first minute the music fits so well with davids words, his sisters etc. very well done thank you. much love to every legion fan.
