I've got an astro bass boat with a merc 60 AND a grizzly 1648 with a 30 merc. The grizzly is the best boat for hunting, bow fishing , and regular fishing, non debatable, so easy to clean and very rugged. Wise choice
Got mine on order yesterday. Enjoyed your video..makes me feel like I made a great decision Got the 60 hp and added electronics front and rear with a Terrova saltwater trolling motor with spot lock. 25,000. All I can say is look out fish! Thanks!
Awesome! We still love ours…I’m glad we also got the 60Hp. Mainly because the current is strong in the river. It’s always daunting when you order something $$ like that, but if it’s what you want, and you get use out of it… it’s money well spent! Fun times and good memories!
Have you got the boat yet? I just signed the paperwork on a 1860cc with a 90 merc. he said might be as far out ad 4 months😢 so thats why I'm watching others boats on here lol
It took 3 months to get it but it was well worth the wait. The outfitter I used in S.C. was down in Monks Corner and Columbia between the two Tracker dealers it took that long to get my order in line and for them to put everything together the way I wanted. Yours is money well spent. Hope you enjoy it when it comes in.
It’s still great, we do our own oil changes and greasing to the motor. It’s pops right off after every storage season. I would just watch the trailer boards. They came loose, like they stripped them at the factory. We take the battery out every winter keep it in the basement and charge it every couple months. We use it a lot for fishing, but we also use it a lot just to hit the river and float down. Overall still pretty satisfied with it!
Well Jared doesn't seem too enthused lol. Sweet boat!! I have a Hobie kayak, but have started looking at the Grizzlies... very tempting. Thanks for sharing :D
Can you do a stability test video? I'm trying to decide on which grizzly to get. Something really stable for at least two adults and something I will feel safe in.
Well it rides rough... but gets the job done. If it’s so rough that I have to go slower and trim the motor up to get the frontend out of the water i say forget it. . I wouldn’t take it out if there are whitecaps out on the lake. Regular boat traffic seems to be fine. I would say the Flat bottom V makes a big difference too.
@@GetzReel Hey, thanks a lot for the input. Really helps. Just to make sure I understood correctly, it does NOT handle rough water very well, or safely?
@@hulkhuggett you can check out my river run video. About half way till the end it was rough water. It really just depends on how rough you mean. Especially if it’s on a lake or a river. Because with the lake the waves just keep getting bigger as they go.
My son and I visited Bass Pro Shops today and spent a good deal of time in this Grizzly 1754 boat talking and planning. After watching a Tactical Bassin video, yours popped up so I had to take a gander. Nice crystal clear video! Glad to see you’re liking the boat so much - I’m still on the fence about an aluminum boat but I’m thinking of going with the 1860cc. How is the temperature of the deck in full sun? Does it get super hot? Have fun and tight lines!
Brian Gullickson We were on the fence on deciding on the 1648 grizzly, Pro Team 175 and the 1754. The 1648 was too small and the Pro Team was very nice but the deck has a wood frame( it’s been a while but I think it was the frame) and I’ve seen after a while that vinyl starts to warp/ get wavy... the weight limit and person Capacity only 4. The grizzly is completely aluminum so I can hose it out, no worries. And being out in the sun it does get warm, but it has not been an issue really. I would buy the 1860 if you are on the fence. You can always use more room haha. Thanks for checking the video out!
FishOnTv I can’t complain...we love it. I’m thinking about buying a canopy/ Bimini top for when we just float down the river. 60hp has plenty of power. I don’t use the live well. Mostly just for storage. We’ve had older Lund V bottom fishing boats. But this grizzly is way better.
Honestly…We still love it! We’ve been hitting the river nearly every weekend. Holy smokes the prices have gone up!! back in 2018 we paid $15,865 before sales tax. That was out of Omaha, Ne. I just looked that same set up is now $20,915!! looks like the freight cost has gone up as well as the materials. That’s crazy. We were going to get a size smaller but I’m glad we went with at least a 17ft.
know nothing Honestly, we are very happy with it. It gets in shallow water... good speed on the water... I just need more rod holders lol. And might buy a canopy for shade when we just float down the river. Other than that. Still satisfied with it. 👍🏼
I do wish they had more storage. A lot of the competitiors boats have it where the seats flip forward and have a big compartment under them. Thats my only complaint on the boat, everything else is perfect!
Paul Breaux Yes, I would agree with that... luckily the front storage is as big as it is. We almost bought the 1648 but the storage was hardly any and the back deck was too small. We are very happy with the size 1754 and the 60Hp 👍🏼
So Gimmie Your Honest Opinion TRACKER vs RANGER?..Which is better for the average weekend warrior Bass Angler that's cost efficient? HUH,..Hmmm,..I'll give ya Time 2 think about it.lol
1_Swole_Nole Well. It really depends because if you get the Ranger version of this you get 50hp instead of the 60hp. They are both welded aluminum Jon’s. Wood free. A trolling motor and fishfinder come standard on the Ranger MPV 1760. Cost efficient I would just go with the tracker because it’s a few grand cheaper. And you can add on what ever fish finder and trolling motor. The Ranger has more storage because the whole seat flips up. Instead of of the center compartment. But again. That’s if you’re looking at the model for the same comparison. What model of Ranger you looking at.

Where did you get your seat covers? Or did it come with the boat?
Styven Canchola They came with the boat

Why is there water in the rear by the motor ???
FishOnTv because it rained for a few days before we could take it on the water. It was kept outside.
J&J Getz Reel I appreciate your response ! Thank you. So how do you like it so far ? Really thinking of getting this for bass fishing. And just fun

Was it trimmed out on the top speed run?
Coppertune ya. But it wasn’t full throttle
Y’all still like this boat? seem kind of over priced here in bossier City, LA going for almost 21K with 60Hp

Brand new boat and it has water in it already
D-op1 it’s only rain water.
@@GetzReel good cause that wouldn't be good if a brand new boat needs to try out the bilge pump from just going in the water.
