- Wanna know what it’s like to sit for the CSSGB Exam or any other ASQ exam like the CQE Exam?
Well, I chronicled my adventure for you and I wanna share my exam day tips to help you pass the CSSGB Exam or any other ASQ type of exam (ahem CQE)!
This starts the night before, so set out your stuff, make sure you have your form of identification and your exam day resource.

Passed my CSSBB on my first attempt. Easier than expected. Best advise is to practice practice practice with sample exams!

Hi Andy! Thank you for the video and congratulations on your certification! I was looking at the ASQ pass rates for the CQE and CSSGB, and noticed that they are very similar at about 65 %. In your opinion, which exam did you find more challenging? I would assume that it would be the CQE because it has more questions, but how does the level of difficulty compare? Thanks!

Yes! As long as the resource is bound, you can bring it into the exam!
@@CQEAcademy what about a notebook? All writings? Coz when I ask they told me a handwritten notebook is not applicable. 😔
@@bartman9140 Okay so I've heard of folks bringing in notebooks of handwritten notes, as long as things are bound during the exam, my understanding is that it is okay.
Here's what the say are prohibited on the ASQ website: asq.org/cert/faq/faq-taking-exam
"Items strictly prohibited in the exam area: hand stapled or paper-clipped materials, blank writing tablets or tablets containing blank pages, unbound tablets, unbound notes, slide charts and/or wheel charts."
how did you prep for the exam beforehand? Is it necessary in your opinion to take a course or is the handbook enough?

Okay, so I'm definitely a bit biased, because I created an online course:

An online course isn't required, and some students do pass by only using the handbook.
It's generally a trade off between time and money.
Books are cheaper but take longer to learn, generally because you read slower, and it's harder to learn from a book (IMHO).
Courses are generally faster, and often come with more extra features (office hours, access to the teacher, flash cards, practice exams) but cost more money.

Hi, I have solid 6 months time with 2 hours of study time everyday on average without any distractions.
Can I prepare for CQE and CSSGB together and get certified. Please suggest and give me some insights if this is possible?
Hey There, yes I do think it's absolutely possible to tackle both in the next 6 months.
The good news is that those two certifications have a lot of intersecting topics so you can definitely prepare for both at the same time!
