I know I'm likely in the minority, but I'd love to see the return of the Yuuzhan Vong. I understand that it wouldn't be as big, or done the same way, as TNJO, but I still say they were great villains that weren't Empire or Sith, or variations thereof and the Disney era really needs that.
Disney didn't want some of the money from EU adaptation sales. The want ALL of it. They decanonized the EU because they couldn't buy it for a flat sum from the EU's original creators so they wouldn't have to pay the pennies for licensing fees.
I don't want them touching the Expanded Universe unless they're willing to take it seriously. Otherwise, they'd just add their stupid retcons to the original versions of those characters. Sure, I'd be *so* glad to know that Tarkin was in a gay relationship with TK-421 in Legends too. **sarcasm**
When Disney goes further with centering on Plagueis as the focus now that he has made a live action debut; there is a chance a live action Revan will make his live action debut in a flashback when talking about Sith history. Especially since Disney has been on a focal point of showing the history of the force. And is it possible with the reintroduction of the Hutt family in the book of Boba Fett Jabba's son was going to make his return in season 2 if it is green lit?
Would like to know what actually became of Omega. Annoying to think the Bad Batch went through all of that and then she maybe just retired from the rebellion (presumably after ROTJ) and opened a little bistro somewhere. Oh, and those two sisters who helped Ahsoka toward the end of Clone Wars, they had something interesting going on I feel like.
All of the "GrandMaster Luke Skywalker" storyline, including "Jana and Jacen Solo" as some of his main apprentices, along side his actual children with "Mara Jade".
Thank god for fanfiction and video game mods, so we can make our own sequels to our favorite Expanded Universe stories. Since Disney sure won't do anything with them.
Knowing how modern media thoroughly _hates_ redheads, they'd make her black and/or turn her into some ugly troll riddled with freckles. And they'd probably make her some unlikable bisexual girlboss that acts nothing like her Legends/EU counterpart too, and doesn't even end up with Luke because he's now Jake Skywalker.
My money is on he is alive and took the fall on purpose. Cad could have just wanted out of the game after the Empire fell feeling too old and just wanted to retire. He's been known in the clone wars series alone that he is a master of creating plans and back up plans. He takes a bounty extremely serious. He owed a favor to Jango by teaching Boba Fett making Boba 2nd best in the galaxy under Cad. Cad would be the type to take a fall to lose any bounty on his head as well if he did gain one as well. Word would get out that Boba killed Cad and all bounty on Cad would be dismissed. Just a couple of possibilities on his potential return. We never did see what Boba or anyone else did with Cad's body.
I pray Disney never does anything with the KOTOR series and Revan/Malak they will only disappoint the fans as they tend to do with the most recent content since they bought the franchise from George Lucas.
Uhhhh you are wrong. Two weeks ago nite was confirmed that thr studio that has the right to KOTOR said they are working on it. Just not in a level of scale we want.
Given how Hutts age, Rotta wouldn't be remotely active until well after Luke Skywalker's story in Legends, the novel Crucible. Hutts don't actually become self-sufficient until 150 - 200 Galactic Standard Years thus Rotta is still basically a weak sluglette by the end of Rise of Skywalker.
I hate when they end stuff on a cliffhanger. At least give the creators one episode to tie up loose ends. Even if it's thrown together in a "everything just somehow worked out" mess, it's still preferable to a cliffhanger.
Everything I've heard about talon, I've always assumed she was either part of the sith wars era old republic, or way after the new Republic, with Luke's great great descendants. Admittedly most live action stuff I've seen of her is either horrible fan made duels in their back yard, or terribly scripted XXX videos.
Not being based on a book, Star Wars A New Hope is the original canon followed by episodes V, VI. The Lucas prequels as much as I was underwhelmed by them also qualify as canon. Books, comic books, video games, and any other media that doesn't fall in line with movie arc are not canon. Sorry, Timothy Zahn, you were boned! Alan Dean Foster, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, Nope! The books and games and cartoons are entertaining, but actual people on film are CANON. And the post Disney buyout (with a couple of exceptions) suuuucks!

Korkie had so much potential as a character, whether he's the secret child of obi-wan and satine or not.
If Disney just produce all things EU, we fans would have been happy and Disney richer. I really don't see the problem.
No they wouldn’t cuz the fandom is never happy

Been saying for a while they should just animate Legends stories. There are some terrific stories.

True!
I love Book of Boba Fett. Ya, I said it. I've been watching since the early 80's, I'm OG. That's why I'm not a hater like younger generations.
100% agree with that.
I will always argue that the Book of Boba Fett is peak Star Wars!

Legends aspects I want? Mara Jade. (Don't tell George)
Same
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I do not want Mara Jade in Cannon. She's too good a character and she wouldn't be the same in Cannon as she was in Legends.

Starkiller could have been an excellent story line! ✌🏼🙏🏼💪🏼
Gara Petothel, what happened to her after Solo Command? We know Myn Donos was in The New Jedi Order, but we never hear from Gara Petothel again.
Pretty sure we will see cad bane eventually

I bet alot of them will be answered one day in books and comic books
"Auntie, where have you been?" "Stuck in the old canon Boba."
It's 2024 and I STILL want a Sword of the Jedi book series featuring Jaina Solo. Give the old EU/Legends a proper sendoff.
im just catching a 20 year+ spot, Jango lost his head. Bobba picks up the helmet with no decapitated head visible
You see the shadow of the head fall out of the helmet if you watch more carefully.
Also the Legends death of Luke
In republic commando its possible to see sev get downed if you use the scope, if he did not gotten help he would have gett killed
I fucking loved the acolyte
I really want a force unleashed 3

you all might be surprised
Legends 👀
Uhhhh you are wrong. Two weeks ago nite was confirmed that thr studio that has the right to KOTOR said they are working on it. Just not in a level of scale we want.
The Force Unleashed III would've gone hard. Fuck Disney!
Maybe let's find out then
Did you say Gadaffi stick?
Can you really call any part of The Acolyte memorable?
Me too
Those are folks hanging off of cliffs. I hope the better ones get some closure, but we don't always and it's O.K.

No one was actually "rather excited" about anything THE ACOLYTE*
(at least after about 4 min into episode 1)

Never say never trust in the force anything is possible

What happened after Solo... I mean did Han and Qi'ra get back together? Could he really trust that furry thing that couldn't even talk? JK
Me neither
Me either
Disney should have done the Revan story, but without all the blue haired stuff though.
That's ok, force unleashed 2 was garbage.
Who CARES about The Acolyte. Worst garbage Disney Wars made.
